Won't honour their 'replace pair for half price' policy
Bought a pair of sunglasses based on the policy that if they broke I could get a second pair half price. They will not honour this until their stores open but there is date when this will happen. Surely a global business like this would have the ability to do this type of transition remotely.
Now I have to buy a pair full price which defeats the whole reason for buying through them.

Confusing and not willing to help
I gave 2 starts because the shipping was fast. I order my sunglasses because they advertise that it comes with 1 year insurance, that if anything happened to my sunglasses, I would be able to buy a second pair for half price.
My sunglass got damage and when I tried to find on their website how to buy an second pair, it was so confusing that I ended up getting in contact with their customer service, which did not help me at all. So I went to sunglass Hut store and the lady only told me that they did not have the same sunglasses and left me there to look after a customer that enter the store after me.
So I need a new pair of sunglasses and this time I bought from vision directed. Never going back to Sunglass Hut

I ordered a pair of the Black & Grey, RAY-BAN / RB4098 Jackie Ohh II Sunglasses on the 1st June 2021 as Sunglass Hut had these on Sale for 50% Off in the EOFY Sales, which is a great price for these sunglasses, so I ordered a second pair in the Tortoise/Green colour as well for my sisters upcoming Birthday.
The online service from Sunglass Hut was first class, ordered on the 1st June 2021 and they were delivered by DHL Fast Track on the 4th June 2021, so only 4 days from the order date, Shipped on the same day and received during these “COVID-

I also live in Perth, Western Australia, so you can usually add another 2 -3 business days, up to a week, for any Express Shipping Service. In addition to Sunglass Huts’ speedy service, they were beautifully packaged in a White Box and the sunglasses inside individually packaged in very up-market separate Black boxes. The Ray-Ban Jackie Ohh II sunglasses themselves are a classic take on the iconic Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis look, with a large square rounded “Butterfly shape”, so if you are looking for some classy, vintage style, these are the sunglasses for you.

Had an issue, was resolved satisfactorily
I had a pair of sunglasses adjusted as part of their aftercare service. Unfortunately the sales assistant ruined the arms by bending them out of shape. I was angry at the time and made a complaint. To their credit, they looked to resolve the issue for me and eventually found a replacement pair for me that was delivered to my store or choice. Whilst I wouldn’t recommend a store adjustment (try an optician instead), My glasses are beautiful and the customer service was great

poor quality
Spent nearly 300dollars on some Raybans. I look after them well, but within 4-5 months the paint started to come off the frame and they are now unwearable as look ridiculous. Tried to take back but refused. Very disappointed.

Missing items, wrong address, no refund
Took 4 weeks to send my order. Order arrived after they incorrectly labelled the box and it got delivered to people down the end of my street. Found they had only shipped one pair of sunglasses out of the two, but had charged for the two pairs. Phone support rep was nice but wasn’t able to do much besides raise a case. Haven’t heard 2 weeks later. Lost $200.

I bought my glasses on the 15th of April this month and they already look like they are two years old! The front in particular are loosing all their shine and look flakey as can be! My package arrived with Persol glasses "hand made in Italy", the only problem is I have done frequent trips to china. Visited the markets many times and seen the factories fake goods are made. These goods were not only shipped from China (dodgy in itself) but look identical to the goods I have that are fake from China. The whole thing stinks, and does not feel like hand made in Italy quality. Contacting the ACC and will go from there. Very very disappointed. Do not buy these fakes!!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service
A spring hinge failed and an arm fell off my very well looked after RayBan 3542_63_002s. At the store I was accused of wearing them on my head and stretching the arms (none of which are true). They refused to honour the warranty and when I called the Customer 'care' line I was advised that damage assessment can only be done in-store, therefore I am left with no other avenue. I will never purchase another RayBan/SunglassHut product again.

The sizes of Rayban sunglasses on the sunglasshut website is incorrect. For example, If you look at Rayban RB2140 Original Wayfarer Classic tortoise/Green, the size will be displayed as Large 50-22 where as its actual a standard size and not large. Secondly, when I was planning to purchase RB2140 Black/Green, it was showing the size as Large 54-18 and when I click in the size it did display that standard size 50-22 also available I could not order it. Lastly inspite of ordering the correct size, I received incorrect size sunglasses for RB4165.

I bought a pair of sunglasses online and selected click & collect option. I went the next day to my closest Sunglass Hut store to pick up my order. I explained to the lady that the sunglasses were a gift for a relative and asked her if my relative didn't like them, could he exchange them. She assured me that he could exchange them at any Sunglass Hut store. Just needed to have the receipt/paperwork. I bought my son a pair or Rayban sunglasses for Xmas and was unsure of the correct size. I was assured that if they were the wrong size I could exchange them. When my son took them back to Chermside store, he was charged an additional $55 by Ben to exchange a large for a medium. I just called and spoke to Ben who told me that because they were purchased on a sale which was no longer running, they needed to charge the difference between the sale and current price. What a joke! I will never purchase rom Sunglass Hut and will be returning the glasses for a full refund and will purchases elsewhere. I will also be reporting this to fair trade and Acc. Very disappointed!

Well first we went to Sunglass Hut in Melbourne Central after checking the online availability of the glasses we wanted to buy. But after spending half an hour in the store they said the product cannot be sold as it's damaged and they have no stock. Also we were to buy two pairs. Store said we can't pay in this store and collect from Watergardens so we can get the discount. Felt they were rushing to close the store at 5pm. Then went to Myer Sunglass hut. After spending another half an hour they said they cannot use the Sunglass Hut Gift Voucher

Purchased a pair of Oakley sunnies for my husband, The SA was nice enough but not very informative! When I chose a pair she put them in a silk pouch and continued to put them in a paper bag, until I asked if they had a case for them, after 5 minutes of looking they found one (obviously used or thrown about ! No cleaning cloth or paperwork! I have never had any issues with sunglasses hut in the past who always aim to please, but these two did not give a dam, very shoddy awful experience

Bought a pair of new wayfarers, initially impressed by the stores sales service, offer of free ongoing lens cleaning and having a 50% credit towards a new pair if anything breaks. Paid $205.
Within 90 days, one of the frames cracks and the lens falls out. They were not dropped but fair enough that Sunglass Hutt can’t assume that they weren’t - so not valid for warranty replacement. I get it.

I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at Sunglasses Hut over the years, but after the service today I will never, ever be back. The lady at the counter at Galleria acted like I was wasting her time. The experience talking to her was like one giant eye-roll. She acted as though I was trying to rip her off, suggesting if I was nearing the end of a 2-year warranty period she would not honour the replacement agreement (does it have a 2-year warranty or not?!). When we left the counter she was audibly bitching about us to her colleague. Overall an awful experience. This woman should not be in customer service. I will never spend another cent at Sunglasses Hut.

Ordered on Saturday, delivered by Wednesday, fab site & fast delivery, also used my 25% off blue light card with no problems. Definitely use sunglass hut again, Ray bans were spot on.

Visited Sunglasses Hut at Chadstone Shopping Centre and would highly recommend never going there. An extremely rude woman (late 20’s potentially early 30’s) was the most horrible shop assistant I’ve ever encountered. No support offered
Sunglasses were "lost" by DHL courier. Sunglasses Hut offered no support in this matter. Customer service haven't replied to my email and their call centre representative wasn't interested at all.

Purchased some Armani sunglasses from sunglass hut for my husband’s birthday, the sales assistant was very informative about what style would suit his face shape and was more concerned with the customer being happy than making a quick buck, would go there again when I need sunglasses.
Online quick delivery, easy returns.
Bought some Oakley OO9239 Crankshaft super cheap 50% off, ordered on a Tuesday got them Saturday, yes Saturday via DHL from China, that's quicker than I can get stuff local and postage was free.
Now the issue was the glasses were too tight so I had to return them. A simple phone call to their Sydney call center fixed this easy, I had to simply box them back up and print out the return shipping label and present to the post office (fyi shipping is free and you get a tracking number as proof).
It was an easy and regrettable process as I really liked the glasses. I have already purchased 2 other pair from them before which I love, just different larger sizings.
If you know what you want, try online, they have some great bargains.
I just took my fav pair of Dolce and Gabbana back to Sunglass Hut.
With a price of 680 and believing the had a lifetime warranty, the lady at sunglass hut told me it was only a 2 year warranty and I bought them 26 months ago. The frame fell apart when polishing the lenses but Sunglass Hut does not care after the sale.
The kiosk at Galleria shopping centre is terrible
Courtney working at Sunglass hut at Galleria, Morley is very rude and she talks in a way she is wasting her time.
Apparently she doesn’t like talking to people who makes mistakes in English.
Isn’t it one of the first things they should know to treat customers in a same way?
