Store credit What a Joke !
Just made my last purchase from these scammers I have just paid for a makita pole saw kit ( partly purchased because it came with a $200 store credit, ) buyers beware that a " store credit " should really be called a " selected items that sydney tools want to get rid of credit " as that would be a whole lot more accurate than calling it a store credit ! Don't bother trying to find the t&c's prior to making your purchase either they only come up once you have handed over your hard earned.

Do not buy online from these people. What should be no more than a 5 minute process has been turned into hours. they will take your payment but will not valid it the sale until you have the 2 amounts they put to your credit card. when a statement arrives a month later what good is this. Any for of help is non existent when phoned.

Sydney Tools - worst shopping experience ever
Called up and paid for a tool that a I needed for a job on the weekend. They made promises the tool would arrive by Thursday. I waited one more day just in case; called a few times during the day on Friday to confirm it was en route; arrived at the shop on Friday afternoon and there was no tool. ey hadn't actually given me anything and taken my money. Their arrogance, and they didn't even offer an apology. Couldn't believe how badly I was treated, shocker of a place, and this is not the first time I've had a poor experience, but definitely the last time I will ever go near it. Lies misleading not what I paid for
Purchased a silent air compressor and tank was promised it would arrive in 3 days. Took a week to get the compressor. Was told it would come with 3 phase plug and was compatible for 20amp. Which was a lie. Had to get an electrician out and pay $1300 To have 32 amp installed. Tank arrived 4 weeks later with no accessories. I got told there would be. Great service from Steve V as always!!
Dropped into Carrum Down today for the Milwaukee Day and was greeted by Steve as I entered the store. He was able to assist me with all my purchases and order in some additional items. Best service I have had in a tool store in years. Highly recommended.

Most good hardware stores will match prices anyway
I spent over $1200 on tools and was told via phone I would have my items in 5 business days. When I did not receive a tracking number after 3 days i contacted Sydney Tools both via phone and online chat. For 3 days straight i contacted them to be told the items were going out that day, coming home to find out they had not gone out. The following day (a day after my items were meant to arrive) I was contacted by the shipping manager who told me their website had made a mistake and i must pay a extra $120 shipping for him to send them. alled. Had I been told this on day one i would of reluctantly paid it how ever this late is simply disgraceful. I decided to ask for a refund which tool another 10 days to be deposited in my account. I have been buying from Sydney tools for years and have always been great to deal with but my last transaction to get a refund is horrible and ongoing.
I needed to get a refund due to not needing a product. When asking for the refund, I was told that I cannot get the refund back onto my credit card but it needs to go into a nominates bank account, so a minor setback but ok. Helpful customer service staff! Very happy customer :)
I placed an order on the weekend. The payment method I selected was direct deposit, thinking that I had paid via my credit card. However after contacting about my order, the staff were able to take payment over the phone and get my order sent out the same day... what great customer service! No Customer Service
I had an order that I put through and then received it with missing items needed for a job, took photos and emailed on the day, had no response. I received an email later that week after another two emails sent, they passed the buck and sent it to another department or depot. two weeks after and still nothing back. worthless
Got back to me after the review, fixed the problem after a bit of back and forth.

Great service even though Im in Tasmania
Ali has served me twice now once in store and once on the phone. He has always shown a great interest in what I am doing and has given me great service and advice. I live in Tasmania and with the free postage it is well worth calling Ali for the best deal.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I placed an order for my husbands birthday and then got in contact with one of their customer service representatives to find out how soon I would get my tool. I was told that it was already in the queue to be dispatched but that she would contact the dispatch team to ensure it was sent out today. Literally, 30mins after the call, I had received tracking details. Amazing!
This was my first purchase, but I sure will be making many more!

Buyer beware. Flashy ads but zero stock and horrible customer service.
This is the sixth time I have ordered from the Sydney Tools online store and an order has been either sent incomplete or not at all. I have ordered Bosch, Stanley, DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee gear, no matter what, there always seems to be something missing. I call the store and they have to recreate the order as they know nothing about it even though Sydney Tools have my money.

i purchased an item on black Friday before 2 pm Sydney time and paid for same say delivery which was 17/18$, its passed the time it provided, i have contacted the post office by live chat after multiple times trying to find out the story, they said they have no knowledge of this item handed over to them. i just dont see the point in paying same day delivery if its not even shipped yet? please help, its a Christmas present but needed it here early.
