Saute pan no longer non stick
After using my pan for a couple of years it is no longer non stick. After contacting Chef's Toolbox warranty claim I was told I had Over heated the pan!!!!!!! My cooking does not involve burning food and the pan was always used and cleaned as advised. No overheating! Product not worth the money for short life span!!!!

Terrible communication
TAKE THE TIME TO READ I had a party a month ago and one of my guests ordered a item which was displayed on the table to purchase to the next day to be told that sorry it's out of stock and u have to buy something else. But she didn't want anything else so that put me under the total to get my $200 credit which on the night I had been told I had and to pick items. This was clearly not my problem and working in sales myself I should of been given the $200 credit which the lady that did my party should of made sure I did since it was her fault.

Terrible after sales service
I purchased the 7 litre pressure cooker about 2 years ago. I love it however a pepper shaker accidentally fell off the bench and has cracked the handle to pieces. I know it was an accident as they do happen but when I rang Chefs Toolbox I was greated rudely and then when I asked the man if I know have a 7 litre saucepan he told me yes. No offer of help whatsoever. I asked if i could purchase one at a discounted price to which he replied 'when they come on special but I was out of luck at the moment'.
Will not buy another thing off them ever.

Cheap products at expensive price
I have the frypan, baking dish and chopping board all of which have not lived up to there so called wonderful reputation.
Costing on both frypan and baker is damaged and chopping board cracked down one side.
I rang to speak to chefs toolbox rep and found them to be rude and would not honour the warranty.
We have followed the instructions on how to clean and maintain.
I will never buy this crap again and will certainly tell all I can to keep away from purchasing these over rated overly expensive products backed by a company who have no PR or customer Service skills.

Pan's surface coating a joke
My frying pan is no longer non-stick after 3 years of using them.
I made a claim and submitted a photo, and they are refusing to honour the claim.
If anyone else is having problems, feel free to send me a private message, I will be following this up with the ACCC, because the frying pan is not acting as it should under normal usage conditions, following all care instructions.

Almost all Chefs Toolbox Products
I've been using the Chefs Toolbox Sauté Pan, frypans, saucepans, some silicone, scales for almost 5 years and have only ever had one problem with one of my frypans which admittedly had been overheated many times. I've found following the instructions of no more than three quarter heat and using silicone tools in my pots and pans they have been amazing for me. I never used to like cooking as I hated the cleanup and the sticking of food. Chefs Toolbox products have certainly made my life so much easier thank god

update My $25 pan from woollies has outlasted my chefs toolbox pan and is showing NO SIGNS OF WARE. so a $300 plus pan over a $25 pan. you be the judge. !!
My $25 pan from woollies is still going strong ! Chefs toolbox has now blocked me from complaining about there pan shame some of there other stuff is OK overpriced but ok.

Complaints
Why is there so much negativity with chefs toolbox I have not had one problem with any of my products - bad cooks treat there cookware with no respect - I respect mine and I have been using everyday for over 12 months still as good as the day I bought them. Used everyday in fact I have got rid of all my other cookware - also we have medical issues not using oil or marg is a blessing to cook - no hard cleaning - and loss of weight a bonus !! Come on guys !! They are under warranty !! Since when has normal cookware lasted. 1 year ??

Some great, some not so great
Around a year ago, I was able to purchase most of their products at that time due to parties and specials. I love the pressure cooker, no problems there. A staple in our home. Very reliable and easy to use. I like the silicone bakeware - holding up well under constant use. Love the silicone spatula set, holed spoon etc. Pizza cutter seems fine. However, many of my products aren't lasting the distance now, and had I paid full price I would be kicking up a BIG storm. The silicone colander is a brilliant idea. But, the silicone part has now fallen...Read more
off of the metal part (became unstuck). The whisk is starting to do the same and won't last much longer. The chopping board cracked at a join around 4 months after purchase, just outside warranty. It wouldn't be covered, however, because I didn't oil it as recommended. I have never yet oiled a wooden chopping board (bad I know) and have some good quality ones - never a crack. It's just not well made. I love my round casserole dish. Use it every day pretty much. It is a bit scratched and not the quality of similar priced brands, but, I paid around half price along with the pressure cooker, so am happy. I doesn't stick, not one bit. Another staple in our home. The knives are good. Nothing more. Blades need constant sharpening. My timer broke after around 4 months - completely useless. The silicone tongs - I just can't use them because they don't seem to pick anything up. - It's now 3 1/2 months after my post and that round casserole dish is starting to deteriorate. It doesn't cook evenly any more, even on a BIG round good quality hot plate - will burn in the middle before cooking around the sides. It's supposed to be the bomb and it's so not. Starting to stick more too. Still like it, but very glad I didn't pay full price.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Terrible
Purchased a roasting pan that can also be used on the stove top. It was non stick, but after a few years is no longer non-stick. I looked after the pan as per their instructions. I emailed them regarding my complaint and they say, after looking at one photo that I have overheated the pan therefore voided the warranty. Not sure how they can tell a pan has been over heated by looking at one photo and also not sure how I can overheat something that is made to go in an oven. They never bothered to reply.
Other items I purchased from them also didn't last very long, for the prices they charge, they should sell better quality products.

Chef tool box saucepans are terrible
I bought two saucepans and they did not last even a year before one became non stick. We followed the consultants instruction to the letter. The saucepans were never overheated, wiped out as instructed, stored in their bags and in their own cupboard. We contacted the company with a very polite letter and they ignored us completely stating it was our overheating and misuse. I cant express how disappointed we are with the lack of customer service and product performance. I would not recommend this product at all.

Don't have things go wrong
We invested thousands on this brand in pots, pans, woks and knives. Believing the local Rep and PR that this brand has a long warranty and exceptional reputation.
Unfortunately this has been proven false! After only 3 years of use, our daily implement, the 28cm sauté pan shows signs of not maintaining its performance. While the pan is usable there has been a build up of uncleanable grim on the surface. We cleaned it after each use according to the users guide and it has only been used on a domestic stove/oven. There are surface marks of steel...Read more

Terrible customer service
From the get go i had issues. Tried to cancel my order less than 24hrs after placing it due to a financial issue was told by the sales consultant that this was not possible as she had placed the order already. The order was placed before midnight last day of month-coincidence for sales -id say not! Received the order but not my bonus peeler when i contacted sales consultant she advised that she could resend however id need to pay for postage again. Received my fry pan and went to use it and it had a rattling in it. Was sent back and replace...Read more
d with a different pan bc id called it my saute pan instead of frying pan they replaced with a saute pan. Not sure why they didn't check my original order when i said i had a warranty claim but only after they received the faulty fry pan they emailed me to clarify confusion. Then in email trails i was forwarded had internal correspondence on it implying id lied on asking for a cancellation. Was offered my fry pan back at cost $10 if i replied within 2 weeks unfortunately my baby was born and in intensive care by that time i replied it was a month later. To which i was advised that it was too late n they took my no response as to discard the item which they did. When i had a care consultant call me i was told they had given great service n that they would not be giving me my original fry pan. Do not buy from this company . Over priced, terrible service. Never again!!!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Burns food before the pressure point is reached
I have a Chefs Toolbox pressure cleaner purchased a couple of years ago. The cooker leaks water and steam and takes way too long to reach pressure to push the red tab up. Since you need to heat on a medium heat to create pressure I find the food burns because this process takes so long. I contacted the company and the consultant and neither have done anything to address my issues. I have a number of Chefs Toolbox cook wear items and I think the cost far outweighs the quality. Better off buying a scan pan set on sale.

Totally awesome
I have pretty much every product you can get from CTB and I can't fault it ( other then the tongs). I have been using theses products for over 18 month and they are all as good as the day I bought it. Love love love!

How do I get a replacement lid for my pressure cooker?

Carol L.asked
If anyone didn't receive Chefs Toolbox products that they paid for, please go to your bank and advise them that you paid Chefs Toolbox for goods and didn't receive them because they went into liquidation (they will look it up on ABN search) i.e. you didn't receive the goods in exchange for the money you paid so you should get a refund.
