Communication lacking
4 phone calls one day, no return call and no one could answer simple questions regarding my order. Problem one occurred after 4 days after ordered confirmed, one product not available, fair enough... 3 days after that oops another product not available for over 3 weeks... then being told the only item left on the order has being shipped...but actually not shipped for 3 another days later. Refunds hmm being told first refund occurred over a week ago, still not forthcoming. So if you are prepared to wait for responses and refunds and do not assume their website to be accurate, all will be good.

Terrible
Placed an order for 4 x 10 packs of LED Cool White, only 4 off was delivered, so 36 missing.
Spoke to someone at reception and there phone manners just awful and came across rude.
It was confirmed that I would then receive another 36 Globes, and these would be sent ASAP, I did ask if they could send these express post as I needed them quite urgent, I was advise, no, but I could pay extra to have them sent by express post. Lighting Outlet wasn't interested in sending the balance of Globes by express post as a good will gesture.

later, I received a call, telling me, they now don't have 36 globes left, even though you could still order the same globe on their website and a Qty of 40?? I was then offered the HV9548 Globes for $1.99 each as these were on special and reduced from $15.99 I think, so this meant I was now going to get a refund and still had 4 globes for the first order. Again for the confusion, I asked if the 40 of HV9548 globes could be sent by express post, because they are needed, and again the answer was no, but you can pay extra and have them sent by express post if you wish, this is now Thursday and was promised they would be sent on that day. Monday came, and still haven't received my refund so sent an email and final received a refund later that day after chasing and a few calls to the reception, and not very nice girls at the other end, and need to learn some manners.Similar opinion? Great service
Purchased wall lights. The company went above and beyond to get the product here by a set date. One of the lights arrived damaged. Company went above and beyond to get a replacement back to us ASAP. Had read previous reviews so was worried. Really happy with their efforts. Would shop again.

Terrible
Very poor customer service, false advertising, very rude, sent 5 emails and got 1 reply with no help at all, very disappointed, will never shop with them again, over priced and over priced shipping, and took ova two weeks to arrive

They finally replied but some how it's my fault, by the time I return it I'm out of pocket, customer service was no help at all, the manager never called me back, department of Fair trading has been called, false advertising and over priced

Poor customer service and lack of delivery promise
I ordered lights from their Ebay business. After a week of not seeing tracking details I contacted them via ebay with no response so after 5 days contacted directly. They advised me the product was out of stock until January 2020 so over 3months away! They shouldn't be selling products they don't have in stock. Further more they tried to offer me incomparable products. When I found a light I liked they wouldn't honour their "smash price guarantee". Very frustrating to deal with, dishonest company. Make sure your items are definitely in stock before purchasing.
They did refund as soon as I requested.

This company boasts a 4 day turn around but when my order failed to arrive almost two weeks later, I contacted them only to be told my order would take at least another week as they had sent my order to another customer. As I had an electrician lined up to install several light fittings, when I heard this, I said this would not suit me and that they should refund my money. November 7th 2022 Update: Still waiting continued Placed an order on october 3rd, waited for the order to arrive only to find out after numerous phone calls that my order had been sent to another customer. I was promised that they would retrieve it and deliver to me within the week. the week went by, too late for my electrician to install, hence I requested a refund.As some of your reviews stated that they were still waiting months for the same, I asked the sales person how long would it take - she assured me only several days. I received an email Friday October 25th to say it had been deposited, but now 5 days later I am still waiting for it to appear in my account - perhaps they also sent my refund to that other customer? NOT happy. You need to fix this fast, the worst experience in customer service I have ever experienced!1 comment

Lousy Customer Service
Could not supply promised product. ordered on 3/10 and despite emails saying the order was being "prepared" did not advise it was not available until 11/10. I checked with them on other similar items they had none in stock, so I cancelled the order. They promised by phone a confirmation email and a refund within a "few" days. Its now 15/10 nothing!

I live remotely so being able to shop online for quality products and have them delivered without any problems, was fantastic. My shades were just perfect and exactly what I had been searching for.

I was having difficulty sourcing 12v led bulbs of appropriate specification but the Lighting Outlet website gave exactly the details I needed and the price was certainly competitive.
