Perfect for fuel savings
I 'm impressed with this little zippy car, I even bought another for my child who needed a car for work. It goes fast quickly beware just because it's light. Got ticket for speeding and I would have never imagined I was over the limit because the car accelerates without effort. I find myself constantly looking at the digital speedometer. I only wish I'd bought the sedan. I would feel a little safer, The hatchback literally ends where your passenger sits and I am very hesitant to place people in the rear for fear of a back end crash. It is as ...Read more
if the entire back can be wiped out. It's just that feeling of vulnerability. The sedan at least has more body work. A full tank lasts forever, it is very economical, but engine is noisy and loud if you are used to silent engines. You'd be amazed the amount of groceries the boot can take and this is without the rear seats folded down. Cheap to service too. Less expensive spare parts.Similar opinion? Economical and reliable card
I've had it for over 5 years and it has been an excellent car. It is also my first.
Pro - reliable, cheap and economical to run and parts are cheap, light and plenty of space for the sedan, easier to drive
Cons- power is on the weaker side, easy to get dents

Perfect small car
I bought this car last month and I can't live without this lovely car. Even though it's a 1.3 Liter engine, it's enough for daily use and I drive it 40 kilometers per day. Car space is enough for daily shopping and even for moving. I use this car for commute and picking up my girlfriend.

Price Perfect! But Underpower
This sedan is very perfect for its price. High Cost-Effective!
The space for diver and passengers is bigger than other similar products.
There is one problem is that the car is always underpowered. It seems a bit weak to climb slope.
Anyway, the car is perfect for city driving. It is suitable as a working and shopping vehicle!

Amazing car
I've been driving my 2015 Toyota Yaris for more than 1.5yrs. It is an amazing car. Very reliable and very fuel efficient. Already done 30,000km with absolutely no issues so far. Interior is surprisingly spacious with plenty of storage space. Highly recommended if you are looking for a small car.

Dependable
Decent car that can be depended upon first and foremost. Not particularly powerful, but after 70km's it still drives the same as day 1. Interior is nothing special but does the job, very good boot space for a small bottom of the range model. Airbag fault was an inconvenience but nothing more.

Great little car
Bought this as a second run about, but have ended up driving it as much as possible. Easy to drive and park, great maneuverability, fantastic safety features and a great price. It's also deceptively large inside. We can fit a booster and 4 adults at a pinch. Toyota service in general is excellent

Fantastic car!
Super reliable, comfortable, plenty of room for the size of the car. It also has great visibility and good fuel economy. Feels like it will go forever. Auto changes smoothly and it does everything asked of it. Will be looking at a new yaris in 3 years. Overall no complaints with this car! Also note its done 150k. Well built car

Great little car
The Yaris is economical, drivable, nimble, surprisingly comfortable, relatively quiet and reliable
The Yaris is not a performance vehicle in terms of torque, power or extreme handling. However, it can tow light loads.
The cup holders, seat folding and a range of other internal aspects are actually better than current model corollas. However, the 2006 model, as expected has a very old style stereo system. It is a cheaper car second hand than a corolla of the same vintage by a significant margin so depreciation was and perhaps is not good...Read more
for Yaris. That said, a point worth noting is that the all expensive 100K service is not expensive as it uses a timing chain not a belt (eg Corolla) and thus the chain will last the life of the car.. Overall, buy for the right price and enjoy trouble free if underwhelming performance.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
clutch
one serious problem, stalls at traffic lights, intersections. had it for 5+ months, accelerator has to be engaged strongly to make sure that it doesn't stall so if taking off at a T intersection have to turn very wide can be dangerous in some circumstances has stalled half way across an intersection they tell me it cant be adjusted my opinion vehicle needs to be recalled.

Great car!! Perfect for a first car buyer!!
Great car to drive with low running costs. It has not given me any issues whatsoever!! Fantastic experience overall with capped price servicing and extended warranty. The Bluetooth, reverse camera and cruise control adds extra value. The new exterior in the 2016 model also makes it more stylish. Overall, a reliable car with low running costs that is also affordable.

"Fantastico Service"
Bought a Yaris in November, 2015 from Phil Gilbert @ Lidcombe. Since then Cliffton has given "fantastico" service.
The 30K service was just done, and cost $168.55 (Including Full-Synthetic Oil) No Problems, unlike my previous
one which caused me "INCREDIBLE GRIEF" since Day One
The only thing I haven't learnt to do is the "Toyota Jump:.

Happy
I’ve been driving my new Toyota Yaris Hatch for over 2 months now and am happy with it. I traded it for my 20+ year old Toyota Seca which had never given me any trouble, but it was time to renew. I had slight trouble to get the head rest thingy right with the Yaris so it wasn’t pushing my head forward, and managed to get it comfortable. There are a couple of features that I liked better with my Seca, one being that although the Yaris headlights have an automatic setting, I chose the manual option as I drive during the day with parkers or hea...Read more
dlights on if it’s raining and dull as the car is a dark grey and harder to see; if I got out of the car and left the lights on I used to get a beep to warn me with the Seca, not so with the Yaris, pity, cos I forget sometimes. Then there’s the clock, if it’s a couple of minutes fast, what a rigmarole to set it back, ok forward but have to go the whole cycle to set the minutes back (unless I’m doing it wrong) will have to read the manual. Not much else to gripe about at the moment though, I’m enjoying driving it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Toyota is known to be reliable for a reason.
I have been driving a second hand MY2008 Yaris for 5 years and it is a really well build car. I only had to change the car battery once and the tires as it was getting worn out after 6 years since it was manufacture. Being a 7 years old car, the support is still great and there was 2 times when we sent the car for servicing at our local Toyota dealer and their system was able to pick up a recall for the car, nothing too serious, and get the part replace without any hassle. The car is still running smoothly and we will be trading it for a bigger...Read more
Toyota RAV4. At the end of the day, my family have own Toyotas and they have been very reliable. They may not be the nicest car or have the most features compared to their competitors nowadays, but it is a brand that I have come to trust. Therefore they deserve my 5 star for being reliable for the 25 years my other family members have been using Toyota as well.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

never a disappointment after driving for more than 8 years
I'm currently considering getting a new car so I though might as well do a review for my dear Yaris who served me well in the past years, taking me to work everyday, taking me on road trips with friends, moving me from one city to another, moving flat packed furnitures from Ikea back home... I have lots of good memory with this little car, which is my first car. It looks cute for a female driver, and I love the funky digital dashboard. Its compact size means it's easy to snuggle into a small parking spot. It does not have a big engine (meaning ...Read more
you‘ll find it work very hard to help you climb over a sloppy hill), but it's economic for my purpose of use, a little petrol goes a long way. It has lots of room inside, and the back seats can be put down to make even more room. It's time for me to say farewell due to the need of a bigger car for my growing family. I'll miss our memories together.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
