No response from trend windows regarding our issue with them .
We have had a delivery of new windows for our house renovation. They have been delivered all over the front lawn and on the nature strip . Left unprotected in heavy rain, raw timber endgrain soaking up water, not a good look .

My experience with Trend windows has not been great as lots of aspects of the company has let me down as a business owner. However your onsite service team has never let me down in the 7+ years we have be using Trend - if it was not for Darren and Matt I would be using another company - also Anglo has been refreshing to deal with from an office contact point.

Terrible customer service
Sliding doors not square
Sections of the windows don't line up
Clips in the wrong place
Windows leak
Taking months to get these things fixed and they need to come back and it's taking weeks again. Even the service guys that came out admitted the company is terrible.

Outstanding job
Trend Windows have recently completed fabrication and installation of three large glass and SS mesh doors to our complete satisfaction. We awarded this project to them since they had successfully completed a similar small project for us several years back. Trend Team have come across as very competent, diligent and committed to providing us with a very satisfying customer service experience.

Synergy Window Range are Mediocre
Purchased a home with synergy windows installed. They are large windows and mostly double hung. Mediocre at best. The double hung seals are bad and the bugs come in freely through the gaps and they are difficult to open and close. Fixed windows are marginally better.
I wouldn't choose synergy windows. Not a good product. You're better off spending extra and going with the more commercial grade stuff. Also Trend after purchase service is really lacking, the service people don't seem to know much about their products.

Very happy with Rachel service and getting back to resolve problems which do occur from time to time.

Surprised at unacceptable poor response
Had problem with out of warranty louvre window supplied by Trend about 9 years ago. Was hoping that Trend would be able to fix. I rang their office at Ormeau and they were not at all interested as it was out of warranty. They recommended Mr Windows who I found out do not do repairs. They only sell parts.
I am a builder who has been a customer of Trend for a while. Was amazed that they are not interested in maintaining their products after the warranty period has expired. At the very least, I would have expected them to be able to recommend someone who is interested and able to satisfy their customers.

Trend Doors and Windows - Unsatisfactory
Salesperson, was nice, 20 years experience but not interested in service. A saga. I went through the order with great detail - each time I went back with an error on the paperwork it would be returned with one thing fixed and another error. It took weeks of back and forth to get the order correct. At one point I tried to submit my order through another store and salesperson because I had lost faith in the order being correct. I was contacted by the State Sales Manager who told me that I had to keep my order with the same salesperson and st...
Read moreore (against my judgement and wishes). I was worried because the 2020 cut off date was looming and the order needed to be submitted. Order finally submitted. We were told that once the order was delivered the Aneeta window specialist would attend a week later to measure the frame onsite for sashless sliders. That did not happen and when we followed up with the salesperson we were told that he had missed the cut off date and measurement would not take place until late Jan 2021. If not for the customer service department fighting on my behalf then nothing would have happened. They managed to get the install (rather than the measure) late Jan 2021. When I had ordered I specifically told the salesperson that I did not want screen doors on our 2 x sliding door set because we did not have the width for a third rail. I also told the salesperson that I wanted to use my own lock on another set of Botanica series sliding doors to my alfresco area. I was inspired by the picture that is used in the catalogue and website where it shows the clean line of the large glass sliding doors and specifically states hardware was supplied by owner. Disaster! Salesperson gave no feedback nor advice - not interested. Turns out the sliding doors were delivered with the 3rd sliding rail (it comes standard they say - it would be nice to know in advance!) The builder had to creatively build the wall out to accommodate the extra width. And, as for the lock which I went to great trouble to purchase - totally unworkable due to the standard set up of the Trend door which is rebated. We consulted locksmith etc for another option and now I have to go back to the standard Trend lock. It would have saved a lot of time and heartache if the salesperson had listened to what we told him we were doing and explained the potential issues - why advertise it on your website when it is not an option! Lastly, builders just tried to put some of the fly screens on and they have been incorrectly sized and wont fit. The irony is that I am ringing the customer service centre, AGAIN, at 4.20pm and I get a message saying they are open only to 4.30pm so leave a message and they will ring me back. ARGGGHHH I could go on as there were other issues and this does not even mention the setup of the some of the other windows which I wonder why they would build the flyscreen rail so it can be seen through the internal glass frame?? In hindsight I would choose another brand and pay the extra for custom doors in particular areas. Only redeeming area is the Aneeta windows and the Customer Service centre who must be sick of picking up the slack.Hi,

Windows delivered to site, service people turn up one week later for window and door service when not required yet due to builder working on installing windows and doors. Contact site services, finally get through to someone after numerous calls, can’t change booking for window and door service because new computer system is questionable/won’t allow change. Finally request for double glaze panes to be installed for our stairwell, 10 panes in 2 frames, serviceman texts date and time of installation...no show. Try to contact trend and serviceman ...

There had been zero communication or contact from trend notifying us this was even happening. Arrive on site Monday 15th feb, one of the inside panes is cracked in 4 places. Try to contact trend site services on no fewer than 4 occasions, once again no response or communication, send email to general manager, he does respond, site services contact me on 4th March to do a door service, I don’t require a door service but do need my broken window repaired and re-gassed. Great service VERY patient sales department
We were looking at replacing 3 windows... We asked for quotes from 10 companies and only 2 responded. Trend sent the quotation within 3 days and helped with many many changes very patiently and professionally. Thanks Natasha
