I purchased $22K worth of louver windows from the Nowra branch about three years ago and after some initial quality issues were rectified they were installed by a local builder. All good at first but after about 12 months 12 of the 19 insect screens started to develop significant numbers of corrosion holes about the size of a match head. A few months later I removed and washed all the screens but this had no impact and the corrosion continued. Over time the problem worsened so I visited the Nowra office to raise the issue. We bough a house and land package from Mirvac around 11 years ago which came with 3 aluminum sliding doors. Recently the handle of the lock broke .I called Trend Windows and they advised these are no longer available. I also noticed the second sliding door handle was also broken. Upon closer examination with my handyman we notices the quality of the handle was extremely flimsy. This lock is definitively burglar proof as it can be easily broken from outside.I dont think these would have met Australian standards .We were lucky that we had installed very strong security sliding doors after the house was built .
We had to get a new universal lock and modify it in order to get the lock working. This was extremely time consuming and frustrating.

Simone took my order and began processing it immediately, very efficient compared to other window suppliers and at a very competitive price.

We purchased double glazed windows earlier this year, it was all good and nice till they got our final payment, we are still waiting for glass to be fitted to one window, door handle wrong side, rubber falling out, obscure glass with stain marks, it has been two months waiting to have issues sorted out, misleading information on date of repairs, still waiting.

Ongoing issues after paying $10,200.00 for windows and still awaiting flashings - following last email sent to manager at Ormeau production on Monday - still no response .

Beyond disappointing and unprofessional that you at time of writing have not attempted to return a call, with the muck about once again in relation to the install of flashings.

Impossible to contact them. Will not answer their phones, return calls or make contact with builder or home owner. Took us 6 months and calls to the managing director to get parts for a window damaged by them in transit. Builder is still waiting for a return call.....

I was hesitant to leave a negative review as we have received good service from trend for the past 3 years but this seems to be the only avenue left to have issues on one of our projects rectified.

Sales at the Girraween office are outstanding, quotes are always on time. We usually have many minor changes prior to final sign off and nothing is ever a problem. We have found the product quality to be good and delivery times are accurate.

They are a very good product my only concern is the delivery. The drivers drag the bottom of the window over the truck tray and in so doing they cut the flashing rendering it useless.

In 2014 we had every window and sliding door in our house replaced with the premium Trend products thinking we were going to be getting really good quality, long lasting windows and doors. We have had issues ever since. We ordered screens with them which didn’t fit well and were later told the windows weren’t designed to be fitted with screens. Absolutely no issue with the quality of the windows I purchased.
I was quoted on 8 windows with flyscreens and went ahead with the order but called the very next day to change the sizes of the windows by taking 10 millimetres off each dimension so the fit wasn’t too neat. All was good and the windows were manufactured and delivered (absolutely nowhere near the timeframe they told me but that wasn’t a big deal to me) but with no flyscreens.
After chasing this up I was told the flyscreens were removed from the quote when the sizes were minimally changed and now I’d need to pay extra for them.
I will go out of my way to never ever use a trend product and make sure anyone I know who considers them doesn’t spend their money there.

We bought a unit in a complex that was built about 14 years ago. All units were equipped with Trend windows and doors. After some time we found out that someone must have removed the pins in our bi-folding doors which lock the upper part of the doors.
