Order cancelled and not notified
Ordered Dominos for delivery, waited for my uber driver.
45mins later the order was cancelled by uber with no reason, no contact.
Rang Dominos to find out the order was cancelled due to no drivers available....
Ffs pretty poor form and a shame this happened

Left some personal items in a drivers car, I’ve tried everything I can to get in touch with anyone in the Uber company and there is just no options that can help me get in touch with them, their customer service help is complete crap, extremely disappointed, so slack

Convenient !
I don't have a car. I do have a five year old son. We take Ubers everywhere ! They turn up in only minutes. They are clean with polite drivers who take us on a direct route. Convenient ! Especially in rainy, cold or hot weather. They are approximately $1 to $2 cheaper per ride than other taxis and those dollars add up !

Deleted order/cold food
Driver sat at McDonald's for 5-10 mins before delivering my meal at 5am. My food was delivered cold and he deleted the order from the Uber app so I was unable to give a review.

got charged twice for one order
placed an order and was charged twice for it and was told its the banks fault, went back and forth in emails and what can i say, its not ubers fault, its the banks.......... even tho i didnt place an ubereats order with the bank.

So since my first review wich u can find below here is the current situation .... UBER had escalated concerns to a "specialised" department who waits 24 hours closer to 48 hours to respond to wich they tell me that they are "JUSTIFYING " the $88 unauthorized payment,NOT refunding and that they are restricting my account as i didnt adhere to their terms of use.... Shifty Scammers
First and foremost I want to make it clear that up until recently i loved uber and their customers service. I have spent hundreds in the last 3 weeks alone.
First negative experience was a driver demanding an extra 10$ stating we needed an xl vehicle (wich we did not ) or he was driving away now this day it was difficult to get ba ride many had cancelled so i complied . I was then made aware that they werent allowed to do this . I contacted customer service in wich they happily refunded this showing me they cared about their customers

rward a few days later and i get a msg stating one of my bills bounced. Now i knew i had the money in the account. So i go into my banking and see im -$100 . I also see an unautherized withdrawal of $88.51 i have been contacting uber since with all details as well as screenshots. Now they keep advising they cant convienerly find this purchase........ after spending in excess $500 in three weeks this is the service they want to provide. Uber Drivers Are Bloody Idiots
Just driving home in St Ives, when a Uber driver decides to stop on the crest of a hill, not giving a hoot about the safety of on coming or traffic behind him. He then has the nerve to give me the bird. Well Uber, because of this incident, you have lost my custom! The driver was a male with a strong accent. I don't believe that Uber is not contactable by phone, to lodge a complaint and catch the driver straight away. This event happened at around 3.40pm on Hunter Ave St Ives.
The driver should be sacked

Never Available
There app is worthless I can book a vehicle 5 days in advance and still drivers not available. Makes it hard when I am 200 plus klm from city of Mackay and need to see specialists for small procedure but cant drive after for the day. So book motel a week ahead so can park my car there then just get a lift from motel, hospital and back. This is not the first time so don't blame COVID. this company. I'm all for taxis but there fares are a joke cost me $900 last time to get back to Dysart, I can freight an Engine from Melbourne for that. A special one way parts run from Mackay out to the mine here costs $450 so taxis need to pull there heads in and be more realistic with fares. But got no choice but to use a cab next week. Would never book one again no star rating
Booked and uber for just after 2am ro Elizabeth vale shopping center as there is 3 car parking sections I stayed on the main road side centeral ro all areas he pulled into the back area turned around and drove off I walked in his direction madly waving my arms he kept going and then drove into the road passing where I was I stood out on the road where busses pull in waving him down I was pretty much in line of being run down waving my arms as he came towards me and continued to drive straight past I then stood in the middle of the lane after he passed swaying my arms yet he kept going . Will just use a regular taxi service next time
First experience using Uber . Busy Friday (early) evening in Townsville exposed the piracy that Uber is . $13 first trip and 2hrs later @6pm $33 for the return trip . What a joke . First and last time Uber . If drivers want to play that game it comes back to bite . Won’t use again .

Professional scam
Uber is a company that assists thieves to easily steal and even provides them with an app to do so.
Had a customer order some parts and sent and Uber to collect them. Uber driver cancelled the job but still came and collected the goods. He never delivered the parts, he just stole them. The driver was the person in the photo but he signed a different name. Absolute scam! What a joke!

Uber is a terrible company to deal with
Uber is absolutely shocking. In Australia there is no way to complain other than the limited auto options in the app. There is no customer service, no phone or even in app chat option. The Uber route sent through the map was completely wrong, took us miles out of the way and I was then overcharged by 60% and the app advised I had accepted the charge when I booked the app which is a lie. I will be using Ola only from now on.

Quoted between $48-$54 USD for my trip from Huntington Beach to LAX, Upon arrival I had been charged $119.13 without warning or notice of any extra charges for my trip.

Uber app route rort! Will always choose the more expensive without option to change
Uber app showed one the one route to get to destination which was approx 67km with 2 lots of tolls, when compared to google maps there was alternative route 37km in total with no tolls and the difference between the drive was less than 5 min apart. When I hopped in Uber car, the driver was happy to go with alternative and was also shocked at what an unethical approach and limitation on Ubers behalf. t from the original $131; though there were no toll and 30km less drive that the $131 route. Total rort! Time to use the new competitors services. Want to contact Uber over disagreement with the Uber route automatically given to the driver regarding the quickest & cheapest route by A$20 cheaper. 30 minutes later give up. No way to contact them.

Error in booking
I just booked a ride for 9.15 am 6 March and paid to discover the pick up address I typed didn't work and wrong address is showing. Uber says to go to App and click on help and there is no help showing and I am not happy with this app as I have paid with my card.

Uber booked .. constantly saying 6 minutes away - then calls and says his cars axle was broken
Uber sent 2nd driver but fare changed whilst waiting- saying we would be charged 3 times more than original price
You can’t ring and complain they make it impossible to contact and complain- an appalling joke of a service use GI Gi instead or a taxi cause this was a direct rip because their drivers vehicle was unreliable hence he didn’t turn up ... if there was - stars I’d give them - 10- they left us stranded vulnerable...Nuh.... belt your service up your clacker Uber - and ya blocked by my bank as well - thieves
