Can't go online
I uploaded my documents to start to be an uber driver. When l finished uploading in the uber app, l technically was able to start the trips. But for no reason the app is not going online. I contacted several times uber to help me to identify what was the issue. They said my profile was able to start the trips but it wouldn't start. I have already uninstalled and installed again the app, rebooted my mobile, and even tried in a different device. So the problem is not with my mobile. Since then l'm still unable to do the trips and uber is not answering me anymore. This has taken 1 month now. I hope this review will help me to figure it out.

I can’t believe how unprofessional they have been
This isn’t the first time Uber has acted up. Even back when I was just a rider there was a time where a driver couldn’t find me and cancelled which cost me $10.
They are now unprofessional to their drivers as well. I have been trying to contact them about an issue for a week and when I message their social media accounts they tell me to email them, and I’ve emailed them 3 times with the same copy paste response that they’ll get back to me. It’s been about a week and a half and I have had no help.
Uber is a joke.

Trip Requests Limitation
I’m student using bicycle with uber driver application for earning money to run my kitchen in Australia, especially during Corona Virus Outbreaks. But one day, I got a report from customer, he/she said that I drove a wrong vehicle, and Uber send me a warning message, and I gave to Uber that I have never driven any vehicle except my bike and I haven’t had any license to drive any vehicle else except my bike. 1-2 hour at the same area in the same time. Uber have limited my account and haven’t send trips to me frequently. That is really a bad treatment to driver when they haven’t believed in their partners. Currently, it have still happened to me, I can’t adapt my living with this limitation.Similar opinion? Hopeless support team
Support office can not do their job. Hopeless! Every time when you ask to do something they just simply delete all the docs and ask to reupload all again. This is what happens when you higher idiots on board

you get bad reviews for having a clean car
the review system needs to be changed, it’s so wrong that someone gives u a 2 because there having a bad day, so over it and not far to the drivers we work so hard to keep everything cleaned for them time to quit

Terrible customer support
Their support is terrible for drivers. They simply don't value their drivers, and of course there are some dodgy drivers who deserve a bad rap, but most work really hard and are honest. Just uploading documents with the APP is difficult and support say "do this, then call back in 15mins when you have done it". So we call back in 15mins and suddenly their office is now closed for the night. They simply don't care.

100 Monopoly and 0 Transparency
I had an issue with my uber account as a driver after 2 weeks of making it, and uber decided to cancel my account without asking anything from my side. I spent over $300 to make it to that point. Worst thing is they don't provide any reason for that decision. Be careful with uber because they do whatever they want.

Lots of bad riders.
Been driving for 2 years. Have a 4.91 rating which was a lot higher but due some bad customers who rated me 1 for nothing.
I’m annoyed reading these reviews of drivers saying we are the worst. I’ve had customers drink in my car and eat when I’ve asked nicely not too and one customer want to take drugs.
It’s about time riders take some responsibility for their actions. We are not slaves we are working hard and our cars are out office so please respect us and we will respect you.

Worst services for driver partner
I have incident where my vehicle and other property damaged by rider. I have raised police complaint for the same and got response from police department that uber is not ready to share detail of rider.
I contacted uber numerous times to get this issue resolved but never got response from uber even after two month of incident.

Non existent support for drivers even when your vehicle gets severely damaged
Non existent and arrogant support Uber provides to its drivers who literally are the working force is non existent. Rider damages your $65K vehicle in immaculate condition and Uber responds with ignorant generic message that they won’t offer any compensation even though I have to replace the entire door card to fix the damage. The damaged piece is riveted into the door card so the whole door card has to be replaced.

Don't give a damn about drivers ...stay away
Their ranking system gives full control to uber and the riders but the person at loss is always the driver.
Uber only cares about the bottom line and does not give any care about the people who are actually delivering the promised service.
And worst if all when you call the support only stock standard responses provided

Uber kenya review
I've been using uber for longest time ever, but my experience in my home country Kenya was the worst. I requested for ride and if call the drive, they ask you the location where you are and you had to guide them via phone call to your destination and to where you heading to and if the drive feel that it's not favourable to his liking he ask you to cancel. The GPS doesn't either work well either or the kenyan uber driver needs more professional training. Many of time i had to cancel my trips. Some drivers even stated that if they take you to certain area they will not find any request within the area. It was so stressful experience

Exploiter of Drivers and Unjust Company
It is very disappointing to work as a driver partner for Uber.
I find Uber as a company very arrogant, a bully, inconsistent with their drivers partners policies and an exploiter of their driver partner for their own selfish goal as a company.
Uber approach of treating drivers is that ‘ is there way all the time and no other way ever when there approach is unjust to drivers.

Uber Rideshare app- A Ticking time Bomb!!
While Uber talks about "safety" it has given its drivers the most dangerous app to drive with, putting drivers and the riders' lives at risk. Uber app mostly works on distance factor, to save 2 meters in the ride, often it will direct the driver to make left or more dangerously, right-hand turns, where there is a controlled intersection nearby, (Traffic lights, stop/give way signs or roundabouts) within 5-10 meters, where the turns can be made more safely. This is a clear indication of Uber not caring about their so-called "safety first" ideology. Another point, unlike other apps, the Uber app doesn't have the option to avoid toll roads and as an Uber driver, I can say that at least 50% riders don't want to pay tolls. Uber is forcing the riders to pay tolls where it is not necessary and when a toll road even takes longer. If a driver follows the rider's request to avoid toll roads and takes a different route, Uber app constantly directs the driver to go back to the toll road. The app takes a considerably long time to come back to the driver's chosen route, making the driver nervous and being prone to accidents. As an Uber driver, if you write to them about such issues, very strangely, the driver won't be getting many trip requests over the next few days! I request the Uber riders to put pressure on Uber, offering the drivers a safer app and I also request the NSW Ombudsman to look into this matter, as Uber is responsible to offer its drivers a safe environment to operate' although the drivers are only 'contractors'. Uber calls its drivers "Driver-partners", but putting the drivers' life at risk in 40% of the rideshare trips. In the coming days, I will write more about Uber based on my personal experience, which could be quite disturbing and violation of transport safety guidelines. Uber is evil
I bought a new vehicle for making money driving for Uber, I’ve been driving for 6 months with a perfect rating and no complaints, when I renewed my rego and updated details with Uber they tell me I can’t drive for them anymore, my car had a 5 star ancap rating and this year they gave a 4 star rating, so that’s it, I can no longer earn a living due to ubers redlicous red tape.

Extorting cash from police checks
Uber will not accept police checks from any organisation other than through their partner organisation, ncc National Crime Check for $30 (not even from the federal police)!!!
There are much cheaper nationally certified police checks (half the price)!
This is madness
If you sign up with menulog same story, but $40 different company again... and they wont accept ubers and vice versa either!
A nationally certified police check is just that! Nationally certified!!
Nice cash grab Uber! You are the criminals making money off criminal records checks!

one star because i can't select half
I am a driver. I went out during one of Uber's promotion timeframes and did three consecutive trips. They did not pay me according to the promotion. I messaged them and their reply was that i had rejected a trip during the consecutive trips which is absolutely not the case, so i requested they send me a copy of the trip run where this rejected trip would be evident and they did not. I recommend anyone considering being a driver to go to Ola or the new DiDi. Uber is a rip off.

Worst experience ever
I was uber eat driver and someone complained about me without any reason, customer complaint that someone else delivered the food so they permanently closed my account, reason for delivering food by my husband is that I was pregnant and the night was raining, I was insecure about my safety so he just handed the food and I explained everything to uber staff and they didnt listened me, till that time I bought the car at finance and applied to accerdiation they said you cant drive the Uber X now as well I was so upset and I requested them to continue my app even did apologies for that coz I was not aware for my mistake so at the end thats worst experience I got and m in totally in stressed now ....
