Vicks VapoRub

Sad that my once very trusted remedy for all is no longer my #1 cure all. Unfortunately the new formula is much weaker and does not have the same results.

The new formula's scent is unpleasant, I was very disappointed. I can't use it at all! I didn't feel it opened up my air passage well either. Will NEVER buy this product again unless the old formula is brought back.

Just purchased Vick’s vapor rub and immediately noticed the smell was different and not in a good way. Will not purchase again and will be contacting company for a refund. No improvement in the new formula, very disappointed..

I use to swear by Vicks but i can honestly say that it doesn’t seem as potent as before and not as effective as previous Vicks that was bought past

I am very disappointed in Vicks for changing the vaporub. Doesn’t work as well, scent is all but gone, and not at all soothing. Just a greasy mess. Been using it since a child. I’m 62 and I will not buy Vicks any more. Too bad, I really loved the product before they changed it.

Whenever I feel a bit on congestion forming I reach for my Vicks vape rub and it always does the trick. I'm not sure if they've worked on their formulation or if its my senses but its scent has become very overpowering and leaves a stain on clothing.

I was running out of Vick’s, so I purchased another jar, and much to my surprise and disappointment the product is not nearly as effective and the smell is terrible.

I bought a second one because I thought the first one was off. It wasn’t until later that I learned they changed the product. They should change it back to the way it was before. Disappointed. I gave 2 stars because it ‘works’ but nowhere near the way it used to.

Purchased a jar of Vicks Vaporub today, when I first opened the jar I thought it was off. Did some research and discovered this is NOT the Vaporub I grew up with. Smells strongly of Camphor and Cedar and all the Eucalyptus has gone. They are trading on the name and the goodwill of longtime buyers and charging a fortune for what now is a substandard product. Do not purchase this rub, it is not worth it. Such a shame.

The smell is not the same it doesn't feel like it's opening my nasal passages and it's not the smell I remember as a child. Not happy with new product. :(

I remember Vicks being pungent, thick and extremely effective. I bought a jar recently and found its active ingredients have been significantly reduced, its consistancy considerably thinner, so its overall effect is now pretty useless.

Definitely lost its use for coughs and colds.. been buying and recommending it for years and years.. not anymore.. there is no nice smell or feeling of heat when applied to the chest.. wont be wasting my money again on what used to be the best medicine for making you feel better ..

It does nothing for me. It is too weak to be effective and just smells nice, nothing more. Also, it burns your eyes. It might help if you have a very mildly blocked nose, anything more and you will need to buy something else that actually does what it's meant to.

This is NOT the VapoRub that I have relied on my entire life! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!! HELP! What am I suppose to turn to? This stuff does not work like the old VapoRub. Its smell is sooo mild that it does not open up a stuffy nose nor does it work as good when rubbed on your chest.

You changed your ingredients? Now what am I going to do? I use this daily. I can't use it anymore now. I won't breathe this crap in. It smells like the stuff at the Dollar Tree now with Turpentine! I will not be poisoned. How could you?! I trusted you. That is why you had my weekly business.
