does everything and more
we had been looking to replace our old renault laguna wagon with a similar workhorse. we tried everything from the c250 merc estate, the jaguar my16, the bmw wagon etc. they all had style, but failed on a few key features. the last car before committing our hard earned dollar just happened to be the passat highline wagon. we purchased last week and have found that the vehicle does more than what we expected. i will continue to submit my review as we discover the features both negative and positive.

just returned after the 12-month service. Unfortunately, the experience does not live up to the quality of the car. It took weeks to book the car in for a minor service. It was made very clear from th... Read more
e onset that a replacement car was a privilege and they didn't have many to offer. Told to turn up at 8am to leave car and was escorted to a "loaner" for the day. The car had not been cleaned and had not had fuel replaced after previous loan. After being promised a call on the agreed time for pick up I left for work. 4:30 comes around and still no phone call so I head down to the yard before the 5pm close. I pay and they go off to find my car. 10 minutes wait and my car appears. Dirty on the inside and out. I asked whether this was usual as I have always had my cars returned clean. I was told that they didnt have time to clean it but if i wanted it cleaned i could return at another time. Feeling as though I was being dismissed I asked to speak to manager. Manager explained that it was unavoidable and it wasn't as though they had wrecked my car. It may be a small thing, but VW want to play in the luxury market they will have to do better. We will NOT be purchasing another VW this year. I guess its back to a merc.

re would have been sorted, but it still does not meet up to our expectations. With the Merc the GPS is intelligent and will respond to changing conditions. If I was to rely solely on the VW we would be speeding down a one way lane in the wrong direction. VW must get this sorted or else we be buying our next car elsewhere.Similar opinion? driving the MK7 now for 7 months and not a day goes by that it surprises me. I have never felt safer or more in control of a car. Every part of the passat says quality. 55k really can by you an exceptional machine that will keep you excited.
