I've been very happy with this model.
I inherited this fridge over 8 years ago, and it has never given me a single problem. Perhaps this is because it has never been moved in that time, and I wonder if other reviewers have issues after frequent moves. I haven't had any of the plastic parts break like other reviewers. It has never even needed a new light. It's always the right temperature, no rust or corrosion, and the seals are fine. The vegetables stay crisp in the crisper and the freezer works a treat (we always keep the freezer section fully stocked). It's a very quiet fridge and easy to keep clean. The fridge is a share fridge, and so gets frequent usage. .

Substandard interior parts
Whilst we have been happy with the cooling provided by the fridge and freezer, so many of the plastic parts have broken within a short time of owning it and this has made it very difficult and frustrating to pull drawers in and out. The ice cube tray also broke on a couple of occasions, making it completely unusable and this is upsetting, as this was one of the main reasons we decided to purchase this particular product. No wonder this product has been discontinued! Very unhappy with the company’s response to my feedback and request for replacement parts.

Sorry I paid $1371.00 for such a poor quality stainless steel fridge and the worst customer service
Purchased 430 litre Westinghouse stainless steel 2 door bottom mounted freezer refrigerator Model No WBE4300SBLH 24/1/2013. In December 2013 rust appeared on the outside of both doors. When I contacted Westinghouse they advised they would have to order 2 new doors which took 5 months to be installed eventually on 9/5/14. I noticed over the past 4-5 months of 2016 that the fridge has a problem as it is always fogging up, the shelves are always wet and vegetables in crisper are wet and soggy. Black mould keeps appearing on the top side of the ...Read more
freezer door seal (gasket) which is always wet. When I called Westinghouse re the moisture/mould they said I had to pay $145 for a service call plus the cost of new gaskets. I refused to pay for the gaskets, The technician replaced the fridge and freezer gaskets on 9/2/17, advising me to keep both fridge and freezer doors closed for one hour. When I checked the gaskets later, the new freezer gasket was not fitted correctly and was very puckered, especially along the opening side of the door. When I checked the old gaskets which I retrieved from my rubbish bin, I saw the rear of the old freezer gasket (which was unable to be accessed for cleaning when attached to the door) also had black mould and rust on it, presumably from the inside of the freezer door. The new freezer gasket has now been fitted over rust on the inside of the freezer door and the rust has now leaked onto the new gasket replaced only 2 days ago. The technician did not draw my attention to the rust behind the old gasket when he removed it from the freezer door. Wonder how long till the rust leaks through again to the outside of the replacement set of doors, When I contacted Westinghouse to complain they said that there is nothing wrong with this just 4 year old fridge which first had issues with rust 11 months after purchase on 24/1/13.

And the Award for the most terminally unrelaible fridge goes to.....
As Forrest Gump once said "In the Vietnam war I got a million dollar wound but I never saw a cent of that". What he was referring to was being shot in the ass. This fridge is a little like that. I bought it six years before it gave me an ounce of trouble and then one day it decided not to work and never work again. I called the electrolux tech who told me I had a one in a million fault where the internal wiring has failed.
How can an appliance that never moves has it's internal wiring fail?
So since that was the only form of assistance I rece...Read more

2 new fridges in 5 years. Would avoid buying this product.
Bought the original fridge and went away on holidays. Came home to a fridge full of maggots. Electrolux replaced the fridge, and this one lasted 14months. The local agent "repaired" the fridge and returned it to our home. This time it lasted 3 days. The manager now says it is up to Electrolux to deal with it,even though I paid $276.00 for the repair..If you are considering a new fridge? Dont touch one of these...

Westinghouse have now contacted me through the local agent, and I think the issue I experienced with the fridge may be in the process of being resolved.

The fridge (top) compartment is freezing food and water! The control display shows the fridge temp to be 7 degrees, which is higher than recommended (3-4) and definitely higher than actual - since it freezes.
How can i fix this? Thx.

I have a Westinghouse WBE4300SB fridge in good working order, except that the crisper bin and facia both need replacing. The facia is NLA. I don't want to buy a new fridge just because of this. I see the internal cabinet dimensions are the same as for WBM4300. Do you know if the full assembly for WBM4300 will fit the WSE4300? If they're not identical, can you recommend a crisper from a different model of fridge that will at least fit inside the cavity for WSE4300, even if it's not a perfect fit?
