The fridge (top) compartment is freezing food and water! The control display shows the fridge temp to be 7 degrees, which is higher than recommended (3-4) and definitely higher than actual - since it freezes.

I have a Westinghouse WBE4300SB fridge in good working order, except that the crisper bin and facia both need replacing. The facia is NLA. I don't want to buy a new fridge just because of this. I see the internal cabinet dimensions are the same as for WBM4300. Do you know if the full assembly for WBM4300 will fit the WSE4300? If they're not identical, can you recommend a crisper from a different model of fridge that will at least fit inside the cavity for WSE4300, even if it's not a perfect fit?

Hi I have a WBE5100SB-R and it has just started flickering the fridge light, when this happens the display also cuts out. I have removed the bulb and this still happens also. When I cover the sensor for the door the display stays on and everything operates as it should it’s only when it’s trying to switch the lights on with door open. Could this problem be in the display module?

I have a Westinghouse Wbm4300wb (this number was taken from the sticker on the side of the fridge) given to me from a family member. Purchased 5-1-10 from the good guys. I have turned it on and the sides and back are extremely hot to the touch on the outside. Could you please let me know what could be the cause of this?

Model: WBE5100SB (510L, Stainless Steel). Bought Sep2012
Interior light has stopped working. Bulb tested OK and even replaced it to be certain but still not working. Fridge is 4 years old and won't buy another Westinghouse as it took 3 fridges at the start to supply a working non scratched one.
Any ideas on how to fix my light appreciated.

Firstly I'd make sure that the correct voltage is coming out of the socket. Secondly if possible I'd check tp see if the socket is intact. Then i'd check to see if the switch that turns the light on when you open the door is working.
I'm not experienced in serving fridges only in getting sucked in for paying for them.
Is your fridge under warranty?
It's $145 to call a tech out. It might be a circuit board.

Thanks for the replies. The bulb is original. When I first purchased this model fridge, the interior light did not work and they couldn't fix it at home so they replaced it with another which then looked second hand inside all scratched so it was replaced with the current one I am now having issues with. I think it will be a problem with a electronic box behind the fridge down the bottom (if I recall correctly from the first fridge). Just though I ask if anybody had seen and knew of the problem and exact fix. Cheers. PS the electronic door switch works fine.
