A good budget phone but comes with too much bloatware
The phone is in general very good value for the price. Screen to body size ratio is good at 81%.
The camera is acceptable though not outstanding compared to recent model high-end phones. Still, it's good enough.
Display is good (403 ppi) and bright. Performance is snappy.
Main criticism is that it comes installed with quite a lot of unnecessary bloatware, which I suppose is how Xiaomi keeps the price down.

Great Bargain Phone
Why spend excessive $100s when you can purchase an incredibly reliable Redmi? Great battery, fast, reliable, has more than all the features I need and want. My third Xiaomi phone....my first still works...merely upgraded. Camera and colour is good, great battery phone very durable ...haven't managed to damage one yet. All apps appear to run very well. Unless there is a phone that is more value-for-money, I'll continue buying Xiaomi.

Great phone at affordable price
Camera produces good, sharp photos, even in a low light. Auto-brightness feature for the screen is a bit too intrusive, I had to turn it off. Browsing and social media sites work good.
