Debit trap - Other credit products are better value - $6/ month on the default $350 approval.
Tried to debit my account for more than the monthly minimum, no way to speak with customer service. Email only (ignored) no phone number to call. No explanation, website and direct debit values are different.

Dodgy as recommend afterpay all day of the week
Had to pay way more than I spent even though I made extra payments. Poor customer service haven't gotten back to me for weeks now so they can charge the extra monthly fee from me. Very dodgy doesn't recommend at all. All the advertisements about interest free repayments!!! Crap. Would recommend afterpay over this dodgy company any day.

i was long ago customer of them and wasnt approved for zip money the charges on my old account were i lost my wallet in hospital was passed to debt collection was while back was charged heavy fees lot trouble my advise dont go into this as u end in debt save money buy when u have or go old school laybuy or u lose your credit score in end

Frustrating trying to change MOB number
In November I was robbed in my home when a woman broke in through our patio doors. She stole my wallet and MOB phone and several other items. I informed ZIP Pay that my bank account had been frozen and that a new card number would be issued and they held my payments until I provided them with the new card details and didn't charge a late fee. However, changing my MOB number has turned into a nightmare since the 5th of Dec I have had contact with ZIP by email and by phone ( landline) and MOB text and while I have a pre-paid phone I have provided...Read more

I do not use my MOB to take photos so I am not sure how to use that facility and I have no one available today to help me. I am 73 years of age and while I am computer savvy I use a PC rather than my phone. Who would think it would be so difficult to change the phone contact number on my account. I had no such problem changing it with all the other institutions that I had to inform of the other phone being stolen. While I will still pay my account with ZIP I am now no longer able to use their service to make purchases that is my punishment for being the victim of a crime and for being a senior citizen.3 comments

Very poor customer service.Phone app has issues.
I closed my zip pay account due to there app being flawed.
Customer sevice were terrible and wernt able to resolve my issue.
The balance i was given in the app was paid however despite having a screenshot to prove the amount i still owed $6.
Quute happy to lose a customer over such a small amount

The actual Service itself is good, however the customer service is terrible
The service itself is very good, heaps of options, easy to use app, and I love the flexible repayment options as someone who gets paid monthly. Just such a pity their customer service is terrible if you ever have a problem. Might as well have a robot on (it might be actually) just stock standard replies not actually reading your issue and responding accordingly, no help whatsoever. It’s really put me off!

Gift cards are not processing
Trying to purchase a giftcard right before and it is not working. It comes up as processing but gets stuck on that screen. So disappointing. I have emailed asking for support but no reply.

Zip Pay Queensland Rego
I Have been with Zip Pay for over a year now and found them to be a great option for buying things that I need last month when they brought out paying your Qld Rego it was unreal so last month I jumped on and payed one of my car Rego never had a problem this month I find out that they aren't gonna doing it anymore a lot of Qld customers will be very disappointed as it is a handy and at this time of the year it is a necessity and with 2 cars I needed it but that's not right as all other states are getting their Regos played for and Qld aren't very disappointed in that and a lot of other Queenslanders will be too

Love it...
I have used Zip Pay a number of times, never had a problem. It has made it easy to budget as I have set up the payments to hit on the days money is in my account. I do prefer Zip Pay over other lines of credit available, I've been such a good girl, my limit has increased. Love it really.

Thank goodness for zip pay
Had no money so signed up in a few minutes the next hour was at the mall buying things I needed. Brought a coles voucher immediately got sent to my email and had no trouble at all scanning the barcode on the email. Have had positive outcomes so far

Unscheduled Maintenance
Highly unprofessional to advertise as being able to pay for car registration with this company if it is constantly undergoing unscheduled maintenance. Extremely unhappy with lack of updates on when this will be available.

No e-gift card yet
I ordered a Woolworths e-gift card 4 days ago and I still havent received it. I have done this quite a few times with Zip and never a problem but for some strange reason it has gone awry this time. No response to my numerous requests. Is something going on with Zip Pay at the moment?

Lack of transparency in providing fees and other crucial information upfront
As the owner of three businesses, I decided it was time to consider whether it's beneficial to implement Zip Pay. Headed to their website and the most obvious information is not disclosed ie what are the fees to businesses... is the business paid 100% of the transaction total upfront, with Zip Pay bearing the delayed installment repayments by the customer, or is the business owner the one who receives delayed payment. Nowhere is this information displayed or disclosed on the sales landing page! This creates an instant feeling of mistrust for me...Read more

Great, Love it.
Was very easy to apply, they do set a limit and show you how much to pay a month for that limit, if you increase so do the monthly payments but very affordable and you can adjust to your payday as long as it pays the monthly amount. There is a $6.00 monthly fee very affordable considering what you can do.
Very easy to use at the shops or online purchases, i just paid my REGO for my car, which is so useful specially this time of year.
The customer service is great any issues they will help you out no worries at all.
I would prefer this over a credit card any day.
there is 2 types of ZIP Zippay (my review) & Zipmoney (which is more of a loan/CCard is a lot harder to apply)

this is a terrible service
will never recommed zippay to anyone I know because ive been rejected 3 times trying to create a account at least with afterpay they're not as strict as these fools plus zippay checks credit ratings which is not helpful in most cases I'm going to always use afterpay as my main way of shopping online with afterpay I can spend up to 1500 right now forget zippay

AVOID ZIP AT ALL COSTS
Zip advertise their gift cards as hassle free but It has been nothing but a headache for me. I Ordered a gift card on Saturday around 3pm thinking id get it immediately. After numerous failed contacts the agent said itd arrive on Sunday at 10am. Sunday came and went still no gift card. Contacted them again and they replied with a cookie cutter response asking me to check my spam - they told me to check my spam on the first contact. The goddam transaction is still pending! It is a problem on your end zip. Horrible service. Do not use. Im not touching them with a 10 foot pole. Thanks for nothing zip.

Have to change schedule instead of making payment before due date.
I just finished my first zip pay experience- If you want to pay your owning amount for that fortnight early you will have to pay double it does not revert to the payment date and will take the amount owing on the due date. The only way to avoid this will be to change your schedule date manually which can be a pain if you do not stay on top of it.
