I was in Melb to visit a friend, he doesn't drive so the car made my visit easy to get around, I requested a small car to make it easy to maneuver and park

Used Ace at Adelaide because they were open on Sunday afternoon and Alpha wasn't. Waited about 15 mins for pickup by shuttle bus which was understandable because the depot is a good 15 mins from airport on the road to Glenelg which was where we were headed. Friendly & efficient service. Got a low mileage Astra rather than the Corolla that was booked but it was actually better. Had it for 10 days and no hassles. Return and shuttle to airport was friendly & efficient. If you pay cash you can avoid the credit card surcharge. Would definitely use them again.

waited 40 mins in 44 degrees at pick up location. no apology, no compensation. apparently we should have got a taxi. total disregard for the welfare of their customers. don't fall for the cheap prices like we did. get an airport location car!

Pick up was very easy and drop off even better. The vehicle was upgraded from small to medium at no extra charge. We did not use it as much as expected but were surprised by the amount of fuel it used, although most driving was around town.

We hired a car from near Christchurch Airport. The courtesy bus picked us up and dropped us off. Car worked fine. We didn't get charged extra for cleaning or surprise hidden costs. GPS needed an update. Car hire was 6 months ago from submitting this review, so it is hard to remember anything significant worth mentioning.

After prompt service last the wait was horrendous. I think we were there over 45 minutes. Others in front dithering about with credit cards etc. I think everybody should be pre-cleared and those with problems have a separate quew. The car was clean and tidy though and was impressed that a full set of damage photos were supplied to me before we left, especially as it was dark.I spotted a few in the half light so went back into the office to mention it and the attendant said they knew there were marks everywhere. That was when I was offered the photos.

Should have paid before picking up the car as none of my visa cards could be accepted at the office. Other than that the car was excellent would use ace car rentals again

After a less than stellar experience with a previous ACE rental out of WLG, and providing unfavourable feedback on that occasion, it was only fair that we should try again.
This time, I am pleased to report, our experience was so much better. A quick pick-up and friendly greeting, engaging staff, a well-presented vehicle, (with a full tank of fuel), we were able to get on our way in no time. Likewise, when returning the vehicle, staff were equally friendly and efficient - look forward to our next trip.

Have used on a few occasions this service to travel to Auckland and the other to Thames, it's cheaper and I enjoy the driving. Both occasions were for leisure so you have ample time to reach the destination

I’m a regular renter and have found the customer service to be very good indeed. The check in was quick and efficient and the vehicle we had booked was ready and waiting. I’m a long term renter and always book a Tida which we find roomy and very suitable for our personal use.

Cheaper total rental price and was affordable to pay extra for $0 liability. My car was older but drove well. No issues at all. Actually found it less stressful to drive an older car with a few scratches in a foreign city with $0 liability than previously rented pristine cars in appearance that were dearer to rent and had a cost if involved in an accident. Overall a good car rental experience. Airport pick up was fast and fuss-free too in Auckland.

This car has caused me great back pain and headaches this week - it was rented as an 'emergency' and i will not rent from Ace Adelaide again. Have rented 2 previous cars from Adelaide and Brisbane, both much better than this, Base of seat and back of seat (Toyota Corolla) have 'sunk' causing posture to be way out of alignment.

Shuttle was easy to organize and prompt. Customer service at check out and check in was efficient and friendly. The vehicle was as ordered, presented satisfactorily and reliable, and was perfect for the bit of running around Brisbane and surrounds that I needed it for. The rental was great value for money. I'll certainly use them again.

Everything went well. Ace wee very busy on our arrival so we had to wait a while for shuttle and book in but were treated well. Upgraded from medium to large car at no cost, so that was cool. Very happy with service and prices.

Customer service is competent and friendly. Payment was easy and secure. The type of vehicle I ordered was the one I received and it was reliable and comfortable. My holiday entailed travelling to a few different cities and country areas and the car went very well on different types of roads and highways.

Have used Ace a couple of times now and they provide excellent service from the Hertz counter at Dunedin Airport. Easy online booking and everything was ready at pickup. Medium car perfect for running around Dunedin to get items to fill a student flat!
