His name is Allan Jefferys 38 Dawkins place Adelaide and reason was he had to pay $100 on top of bill as it wasnt paid within timeslot for dicount ... I explained he was in a mental hospital and missed out by 1 day of getting the discount... Whomever i spoke to on phone said he would speak to his boss about waiving the $100 as he was in hospital and told me he would get back to me .... an email was sent to my son, who is now out of hospital, and it asked to have my D>O>B and that they had my email address ... they had my sons email address not mine and i will give you the correct info now....Gaynor Walker 23/09/ 1946 telephone 0410113858... Did you receive the photo showing the permission given by my son to me stating i can sort his affairs on his behalf?? also does he need to pay that $100 as time is running out according to the last email please my email address is [email protected]

Hi. Your PDS clearly states that solar credits can only be off set against usage charges and not paid back to the user via bank account etc. However phone advice as of today has contradicted this information as I was informed that I could phone and request the solar credit amount be paid back to me if I desire. This latest advice was checked with a Team Leader who confirmed that I can receive the solar credit at any time I wish. Please confirm/clarify and will the PDS be amended? Thank you. John

I think they are only obliged to give you the credit as a monetary payment if you switch funds or cancel their service while credit is still owing.

Hi Alinta. With Origin you can request a credit refund via your online account. Does Alinta have plans to add this facility to their online accounts? It is so much easier and more efficient than having to telephone.

Hi Mia, Yes, every quarter I am entitled to a refund due to my solar credits as my solar credits exceed my electricity charges.
Unfortunately, we don't have plans to request a refund online. We are currently working on an app, and this may be something we will introduce in the future.

Hi Alinta Energy. We have just signed up with you and now after reading all these comments we are understandably nervous. Can you clearly state whether you pay out solar credits or not? Is this a cash payment to the nominated bank account? If you don’t it looks like we will be canceling our account before the cooling off period.
I highly suggest canceling. they lie to get you to stay. They aren't even an Australian company they sold out to china.

We have been trying to get our solar credit back for the last 6 weeks, we have made 10 calls every time we are told they are onto it and will call us back that day. But they don't call us back. we ask to speak to a manger or supervisor but appartntly there are none to talk to. We just or around and around. Not sure what to do we have 9 accounts with them and have always paid on time every time very upsetting.
