We hired an Apex car in Melbourne CBD for a week dropping off at Melbourne airport. The price for a week was so reasonable and included zero excess insurance. Both pick up and drop off were easy with friendly staff, excellent and clear instructions and no hidden fees, charges or policies. For great value we recieved a roomy Toyota Corolla with only 3,000 km. Perfect total customer experience.

We hired a car from Launceston to Hobart. The car was exact as mentioned in the online agreement. Pick up and drop off was timely from the airport. Their staff is really friendly and gave us some good suggestions when asked for. Car was really good. No problems at all. Will definitely use their services again.

We have hired cars from Apex in four states of Australia & also in New Zealand. There has never been a problem with the customer service, the pick up or the car. All staff are very friendly and helpful, even though we changed our dates and times twice this holiday. Everything is explained clearly & the best part they are so much cheaper than other car rental places. We have recommended them to many people who wish to hire a car. Yes the cars aren't brand new but neither are the cars we drive at home. Well done again.

We hired a Kia Cerato Hatch at Cairns for 8 days in August and were very happy with the service we received from Apex Car Rentals. Car was delivered as expected and no problems apart from a bit of a wait at the Airport before their Shuttle arrived. Then only a 10 minute wait at their depot to collect vehicle and we were on our way. When we dropped off the car on the final day we were shuttled to the airport straight away. Would definitely use them again when we are next in Cairns given that they were quite a bit more cheaper than the larger rental companies.

We picked our vehicle up on 20 August at The Sunshine Coast near the airport. Karen completed the paper work with us in an efficient and professional manner. We were very happy to discover we had a brand new Toyota Corolla. We had the vehicle for 21 days and Apex by far offered the most competitive quote. The gentleman who helped us with our luggage and transport to pick up the vehicle (who's name I don't recall) was informative and friendly. The whole process was made simple and we have no hesitation in recommending Apex.

I hired a corolla from Apex Perth, it was almost brand new and lovely to drive - and of course very clean. The service was fantastic; the staff were very friendly and they couldn't do enough for my mother and I. The hiring premises are nice and new.

I booked from Apex 2 month before arrive in Christchurch using debit card...
When arrived at their premise, they won't let me rent that car because I do not have credit card for guarantee purpose...
I have no problem even if they won't let me rent, but why should they scold and ask me to go out of their premise rudely...
They should treat people nicely and politely even if I am not their customer anyway...
Is it because I am too soft and speak calmly that they felt they have the right to shout/scold me?
I came at them peacefully, why can't they treat me the same..?

The car was perfect; clean, everything worked. The car was brand new and only had 6,000 km on it
No issues with returning it or picking it up. The shuttle drive is fairly short and the wait wasn't too long.

Excellent experience with Apex Car Rentals - we rented an SUV one way from Sydney to the Gold Coast. Great rate, car was fantastic, easy on fuel and was spacious and drove well. There were a few scratches but all was easy to document.

Booked car for 13 days at Launceston - called number when I arrived - shuttle bus picked me up within 5 min - short drive 500meters to depot - car was what I had asked for - about 2 years old 60,000 on the clock and run liked a charm. Drop off was quick and at least 40% savings on companies that have offices in the airport. Am I going to use Apex again - You bet I am. Also staff member was very friendly
