Best laptop I have used
Hands down the best laptop I have ever used. Retina display is great and long battery life is a great plus. It is easy to carry around. All my other laptops never lasted more than a year without issues like hanging, virus etc.. Own it for two years now and never had any issue. Absolutely love it!

Been an Apple user! Thumbup for excellent Apple excellent customer service.
Purchased my laptop a while ago. Accidentally dropped it and had to take it to Apple store for repairs. The Apple staff were very helpful in saving my laptop and keeping the cost to a minimum. Just would like to leave a comment to say that Apple Service is still golden after all these years.

MacBook Pro 13
I love it! Clear screen, nice soft touchpad, navi pad is awesome (will get better as I know how to use short cuts).
Yes I was a Windows tragic for years, finally changed over and won't look back, this operating program seems easy to use and I have only had the machine for a week! I will say again I love it... and would recommend it to any looking to jump on the Apple laptop bandwagon.

PERFECT EXPERIANCE
Apple is expensive I know, But you are paying for quality, customer service after purchase and a computer doesn't get slower over time like PCs.
I have been using my Macbook Pro for the last 3 years. It is still like brand-new, Still as fast as first day.
I can't be more happy with my decision of moving to Mac from PC. I would never go back to a PC again.
Apple deserves to be the best tech company.

Worth every cent
I upgraded my MacBook Air to the MacBook Pro 13 inch with Retina display in August 2015 and haven't looked back. I use it as my primary computer upwards of fifty hours a week and it's still going strong over twelve months later. The Retina screen makes a significant difference over the course of a long working day; my headaches have reduced considerably. I have not missed the DVD drive at all. The keyboard is tactile and responsive. No components show any sign of wear at this stage.

It is worth ever dollar you spend
Since being converted to Apple products back in 2010, I have never looked back. My MacBook has been my side kick till the start of this year when it got rained on ...that was my bad. Thankfully I was able to get a brand new replacement macbook because of my insurance. If I hadn't damaged my laptop, I think I still would have got a few more decent years out of it.
The best part of this laptop was that it still retained substantial value even with water damage. I couldn't believe someone paid $400 on eBay for it. Goes to show Apple know how to make a reliable and quality product.

valuable and great design
Wonderful computer system. It is quick and easy to use after master all the key feature of the keyboard. Its battery life is long enough to write a long paper work after fully charge and the retina display never get you tired and sleepy, it is bright and comfortable. The OS system is more and more reliable than any versions of WINDOWS. No worries about drivers of display, sound, network etc.

2014 model
I have the 2014 model and it's great. Has heaps of good features for me however unfortunately it does sometimes freeze and just turn off which is really frustrating - not sure if this happens to anyone else? Maybe I just got a faulty one. Other than this it has done me great!

Awesome!
I just recently purchased a Mac and its the best decision ever. I purchased it for uni and it has made my life so much easier. I previously owed a hp laptop which was decent but very heavy and chunky. The mac is so sleek, light and portable that it makes it easy to carry to and from uni. Its fast and the battery life is long. If you're looking to buy a laptop I recommend buying the macbook pro with retina display 13-inch even though its a bit pricey, its a worthwhile investment.

Excellent Computer
Had mine for a year and a half now. As all the other reviews say, a beautiful machine. The Retina Screen is so clear compared to other Windows machines. Got mine from Myer on a 10% off sale when our dollar was still high. Only paid $1660 for the 256gb model with 8gb of Ram. Only trouble, after a year and a half the hinges don't hold the lid tightly closed anymore. When I close it the "lid/ screen" it will open about 10mm. So not perfect but everything else is fine. If your looking to buy a new laptop I'd be looking at 16gb ram now at the minimu...Read more
m as RAM has doubled every 2 years for decades now. Since the RAM on these laptops is soldered to the board you can't upgrade it later. So may even be worth forgoing a 10% sale and buying direct from Apple and maxing out the RAM. But a good sale is hard to resist. Myers were really nice to buy from. Another note Apple should be upping the MacBook Pros RAM soon to a max of 32gb, so may be worth waiting till they bring out the new models?Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Worth The Price
This laptop is amazing. OS X is much better than Windows and the entire laptop is much more stable than any laptop has ever seen. The new Force Touch trackpad is brilliant and adds a whole new dimension to the laptop world. The Intel Core i5 is absolutely amazing and 8GB of RAM is an AMAZING baseline amount of RAM! Not quite enough USB ports but that can be fixed with a $5 USB port hub.

great bang for your dollar / seems to heat up
love this mac does everything from adobe graphics to fast internet, a great allrounder and looks great and has a strong build as i use it outside a lot.Screen gets greasy and a little reflective and seems to heat up above recommended levels in qld. Value for money is great and I swapped from a dell who's service was poor, apple service is fast and great. Watch out for scams buy people or adds saying they are apple though as they want to get in your computer by remote. Fast, rarely fails and easy to maintain. Always upgrade your memory and ram if you can prior to buying 138gb flash is too small and 16gb ram would make a big difference for the price long term.

Excellent!!!
I absolutely can't believe how amazing this laptop is, the display is excellent and stays crystal. I really like the fact that you can't get a virus. every laptop that i have previously owned had crashed or got a virus.
The speed is exceptional and it stays fast, no more slowing down which is very good.
There is nothing bad that I can say about this laptop
go buy one

Beautiful laptop
I have the 13 inch and wouldn't go back for anything. Whilst it is slightly more expensive then the other macs it is certainly worth it. I will recommend that you buy it with an extra 100GB because 120GB does fill up very quickly

Amazing Product
I've been an Apple user on and off for a few yeas now, and this is by far the best piece I've purchased. The reason I upgraded from my 2010 model was purely the Retina display but the benefits were so much more than just the image. The battery is insane, I've never had a laptop with a battery that lasts this long, it's almost as good as a tablet battery. I typically use the MacBook for media viewing and web surfing which isn't very taxing on the unit but when I do decide to push the limits it barely slows down.
The ability to use my MacBook ...Read more
to stream to Apple TV is one of the features that really separates it from the pack. If I had one nitpack it would be, of course, the price. Apple are known for having higher prices than pretty much any other computer manufacturer but at the end of the day the build quality and extra features you get from the Apple ecosystem is, in my opinion, worth the price of admission. The fact that there is no optical drive (no CD's or DVD's) is annoying but I suppose allows for the thinner form and slightly lower cost, but I still kind of miss it. If you're looking for a simple web browser or workhorse, you can find cheaper. But if you're using an iPhone and/or and iPad or have Apple TV, the MacBook Pro is an awesome machine. The Retina display is the icing on the cake. Retina display, AirPlay option, battery life High price, no optical driveSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent laptop
Just all you want from a laptop: light, long battery life, crisp and bright display.
It's also incredibly powerful: I usually run OSX 10.9 and two Windows 7 sessions at the same time (with vmware) and it is still not slowing down. I think the solid state drive brings a huge improvement in performance.
I recommend maxing the RAM though, I went for 16 GB.
light, long battery life, crisp and bright display
need adapter for Ethernet port . Not enough USB ports. Built-in speaker sound too tiny.

Really great! This is now end of 2017 and there is no sign of this laptop slowing down! I use it for my business which is heavy engineering tasks everyday and it never misses a beat!
