Review relates to Gold Coast location. Car and paperwork ready on arrival; car clean with a few scratches but nothing that impacted us. Effective pick-up from airport on arrival/after drop-off

Customer service on phone and collection from airport was great... when checking in car the computer system went down but the lady was lovely... on returning the car we were greeted by a grumpy employee who didn’t check the car or listen to our feedback on faults

The driver side window did not work would get stuck up or down we told worker & she stated that’s not a problem... the car seats for the kids were disgusting dirty had wholes in them and would not reach Australian standards

The car was a mess of dents and scratches, but ran well. The driver's side rear tyre developed a slow leak from a defect in the side wall that formed a bubble then split, as it was explained to us by the tyre fitter. Apparently the heat from 100 km/hr driving on hot asphalt brought on the eventual failure. After phoning and reporting the problem to you and being assured I would receive a call to tell me what to do, but receiving no response, I was forced to buy a new tyre for the spare. Atlas offered the best price out of four car hire services available in Preston and were the only one with a no-excess option. Even this slightly more costly no-excess option came in lower than the other hire companies I compared with their standard $4000 excess.
Customer service was prompt, friendly and no-fuss. The car was clean and tidy and bigger than what I would have got at the other rental places at higher cost, and more than met my needs.
The return of the vehicle was handled very efficiently and my bond released instantly.
I can highly recommend this service as an alternative to the overpriced established car and truck hire companies in the market.

Good service, am awaiting return of the deposit. Used a Toyota Camry which although old was suitable for my purpose. Check in and check out was fairly fast too. Had an issue with the toll pass for which I had to call the service center to seek clarification. Using this company for the first time and had a decent experience.

Your offer has totally met my requirements and even over in regards with the provided flexibility. I am highly satisfied of your service however there was a negative experience which I emailed to you and really worried about it.

I am highly satisfied of your service. However, miscommunication is a huge barrier for a best business relationship. Whenever I have issue and try to reach your valuable staff, I have been advised to insist via emailing. Do I have to insist when the matter is the car servicing?!?!?! I am a driver and unable to write repeatable emails.

I was disappointed when I got to my hotel in West Perth to find out that one of the headlights was not working.
I told them that the car would be at our hotel all day but was asked to I bring it back to them for it to be fixed. I feel that this did not meet my expectations as I believe that this should have been found when the car was being cleaned etc. after the use before us- there was a light on the dash board saying that the headlight was not working. I had to specifically drive from West Perth back to the office for the headlight to be changed. Which was done successfully and promptly.

Hi, I was taken by surprise by the shuttle bus service never experienced this before. It was confusing and took approximately 3 hours off my trip, by the time all the details of using a shuttle bus had been accounted for time wise. I would not have booked the car if I knew in advance the shuttle bus service was part of the arrangement. Now I know I am better prepared not to make the same mistake in the future. Car was clean and some staff friendly, although I booked a Toyota Yaris and got a Suzuki Swift instead!

Our car was ready, the paperwork was quickly processed both at the point of pick up and return. The staff were supportive with sharing local knowledge for our trip and very efficient and friendly.

Booking process was easy, price was excellent. Only one issue was the time we waited for shuttle. Have used Atlas in NZ would definitely use Atlas again in Sydney also.

Great service, excellent staff upgraded my car ! Loved the golf . Only wish they were open longer hours then I would use them more as I travel to south Australia frequently !

Vehicle was great but hard to move a house when the Lift doesn't work/not provided with the tools to use it. This is rather disappointing when you have a short time limit.

I recently hired a car in Melbourne and drove through a toll but I am unsure which operator it was as there are apparently 2 off them.
I rang both companies neither of whom recorded my car when I supplied the reg number and dates but one informed me that it might go directly to the company. If it does I will be charged a hefty admin fee even though I tried my best to resolve it by calling both toll companies and Atlas themselves who could not give any idea how to resolve the potential issue.
How Atlas deal with Tolls seems a bit of a mystery /...

From pick up to drop off from arrival to depart the whole hire car experience was great. Got upgraded at no extra cost, because said booked car had a hubcap misplaced from cleaning and could not be located. Certainly money for value.

We were given a smaller moving truck than what we had booked, and were still charged the same amount for the one we had booked. The deposit is an outrageous amount. Customers service needs improvement.

No nonsense quick and easy processing. Car perfect for our needs. Scrapes and minor dents on car notated before our departure saving hassles on return.
Bond on credit card returned promptly. Overall satisfied with service.
