Hi Stephen. I agree its not good (see review) but just ion trying to help you a bit and to always start with the basics (101). For the online login of the Card Number you have 16 numbers in total on your card and for the login you only need to enter the first 4 numbers (of the 16) then the first 2 numbers of the second 4 and then the last 4 (of the 16). Be patient as I found it is a slow login - double check your email and password - this system will either not bring up the correct error OR will show nothing at all. Also if still nothing happens and you have Virus software - try turning that off as I had an issue with it blocking the login. If that fails call the Contact Centre. Response time was fairly quick BUT you might get a very good operator or a not so good. If they sound vague then ask to speak to a Team Leader. The TL I spoke to was excellent.

that would be a mistake you never link cards pay pal is linked to bank balance all a hacker has to do is use the link from your pay pal to access your bank balance the whole idea of prepaid credit card is to prevent any one from being scammed because prepaid credit cards are not linked to any bank account if you are dumb enough to link your prepaid master card to another card which is linked to your bank balanced then you deserved to be robbed just remember their is no website that is scam proof their is no such thing as a safe website safe websites don't and never will exist

I'd like to know how Australia Post can continue selling this product while taking no responsibility at all for it being a dud.

People are losing money, all of us are wasting time and effort, and none of this is making Australia Post look good.

If I get no response from AzPost, or Priscila jumps in with more of its inanities, I'll be happy to refer this further to the relevant scam authorities.

the answer is cost cutting the Australian post has traded integrity for cost cutting/and possible corruption that is why the Australian post boss prefers Australia post customers to have a poorly designed and junk prepaid mastercard website that is difficult to log into the Australian post boss is trying to harass post office customers by forcing controlling and dictating and preventing Australian post customers from choosing and using their owned preferred password heil to the post office boss for a lousy prepaid master card website

If you read the "Product Disclosure Statement" and the "Financial Services Guide" concerning this card, you find conflicting information as to who is actually responsible for any problems or loss.
And no one seems to be mentioning Heritage Bank Ltd who actually issue the card. Mastercard Prepaid Management Services distribute it and supply the "processing services".

I'm simply going to run my card down to zero, cut it up, and warn all my friends to avoid it at all costs while saying nasty things about AustPost who own the shemozzle while taking no responsibility for it all.

Are you using the correct website? The website you are sent to when you click on "manage your card" on the Auspost site is NOT the correct login site. Why Australia Post will not fix this is beyond me.
The correct site is https://everydaycard.cashpassport.com.au
And you said you are using the full 16 digits. You can only enter the first 6 and the last 4.

I have just bought a prepaid Mastercard at Australia Post, can I use it for paying direct debit, like Netflix, as I used to do with the load&go? Also, can I change my PIN number? If so, how?

you have to contact Netflix and ask Netflix would they use and accept the post office prepaid master card as a payment method just remember the post office prepaid master card is SCAM PROOF because you have to put money into the card before you use it also you can give your master card number to a scammer because the only way a scammer can take money out of the prepaid master card is if their is any money in it but the most important thing is any one who would use a bank credit card on any website deserves to be ripped of just remember there is no such thing as a scammer/hack proof website

You would think you could access your pin and change it in the "personal settings" on the login website. The only problem is you can't access these settings (personal, card, payment) at all. Every time you try, it goes to a page that says "an error has occurred".
I have tried to get an answer from their so-called "support" section. but never received an answer.

AussieGirl

Dario, I added my AusPost MC to PayPal and set up direct debit for Netflix through PP without a problem. Its an alternative method if you have trouble using direct debit, directly from your card.

How can we get a response to issues with the card ie. Lost deposits?
The call centre says they will get back to you and they you don't hear anything, Australia Post help centre doesn't want to know, they tell you to use the Mastercard call centre, and Mastercard doesn't respond to emails.

Hi TKJ,

It's not good to be left in the dark, especially when it's about money. Did the support team give you any kind of timeframe of when they should be getting back to you? I don't have access to the systems to assist you and only the support team you've contacted and email can assist you I'm very sorry.

Priscila

Frankly I think Australia Post needs to step up a bit more, this is a product you sell and take a commission for. I am not impressed with how Australia Post declines to take any responsibility for the issues everyone is having with this product, but continues to be happy to sell a substandard product.

Hi,
Have just got this Australia Post prepaid mastercard. I have activated the card but now I am having trouble loading more AUD onto it. It comes up with an error if I select bank transfer or BPAY. The only way it lets me reload is with another debit card (which I do not have).
Has anyone else had this issue? We called the customer service line and they could not figure it out?!
Useless to have a card I cannot load any further money on.

I'm having the same problem today and customer service were useless. Selecting either transfer or Bpay leads to the Settings screen with a message that something's wrong. However, I did receive an email with the Bpay details in it so it's obviously a problem with their site. I want to do a direct transfer from a bank account but after asking me 5 questions to verify my identity (which I successfully answered) I lost it when she wanted to know the first three letters of my Mother's maiden name. I just want Mastercard to fix their website not handover my first born child!!! They don't need to log into my account to fix their problem.

Hi Kaleb,

It's normal for some transactions to come up as pending but give it a few days and you will see that the transaction will no longer be pending. Wherever you have purchased your items from are not pending payment and would have received payment straight away :)
