Order number 100114649 ordered on the 12/02/2020, I had to email them on the 20/02/2020 asking when my order was going to be shipped. They emailed me later that day telling me that it had been shipped, like I was a fool for not noticing however it was not shipped when I sent the inquiry.

they were still awaiting the part and offered me another one in its place. I get that they may be a warehouse and have to wait for parts, but it annoys me that I have to constantly chase things up with them and receive absolutely no correspondence until I contact them. There are other instances where I have ordered items and they're not in stock only for them to tell me upon me contacting them. These parts are for our cars, which we rely on to get to our jobs and run errands. I order these parts expecting them to be delivered to me in a timely manner but Automotive Superstore fail time and time and time again to do so to the point where my car is laid up for weeks. I ordered order number 100121390 (a gates serpentine belt) as I was commencing a week's leave on the 29/03/2020, so it would arrive in plenty of time and I would have time do to it, however it appears unlikely a replacement will arrive in time and I will have to try and get it done between working, which is hard as I am a shift worker. I dislike Automotive Superstore and only use them as they're sometimes cheaper than the competition, but sometimes that isn't enough. Shop service was excellent but the product itself was just about ok
The actual experience with this shop was excellent - cannot be faulted and I'd definitely shop there again. The product itself though was nothing more than average. Not the shop's fault obviously but I shan't be buying it again. I can see why it had been so massively reduced now!!

Shop here at your peril
The store was easy to navigate, and to make mistakes due to poor messaging, they will avoid you when you realise a mistake has been made and you will bear the cost of returns, regardless as they just don't care, management is asleep it seems. Staff will check your order but will not take responsibility when they make a mistake, they checked mine each time.
The range is excellent however if whatever you order is likely to take up to two weeks to receive, i'd recommend you don't bother wasting your precious time.

i ordered a part on 20/03/2020 7days later still no item.this is a very small item and the buisness is only 25km away from my house. sent cudtomer service an email to send but order status still In Progress? most people need parts urgently in order to get the car back on the road but obvoisly no urgency here. dissapionting!

UPDATE:
After knowing that the installer had damaged my head unit, SAM spared no effort to ensure that the product was repaired quickly and at no cost (it should cost around 200aud). To help I still bought a wrong item and Sam once again agreed on the sale that is already in the delivery route. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE AUTOMOTIVE SUPERSTORE 1000 TIMES. Congratulations to the company for having competent people taking care of its customers.
And definitely Ill be back to buy more.

Pitiful Service - No Communication - AVOID
I ordered a wheel bearing set on the 26 February 2020. On 28 February 2020, I received an email from Automotive Superstore (AS) outlining that they no longer the stock the specific brand of bearing I ordered but did have an alternative. I agreed this was fine and was happy with the replacement item. So far so good, no big deal.

the unanswered call (a message facility would be a good addition if wait times are going to exceed a couple of minutes). I then sent an email asking for an update on the order. On 13 March 2020 I still hadn’t received a reply, so I thought I’d give AS the benefit of doubt and I emailed again asking for an update on the order. On 19 March I still hadn’t received a reply so I thought I’d try the Order Enquiry line again, no answer after a 10 minute wait. This phone is obviously unmanned. I then decided to try the Sales Number, which was answered promptly (bit odd right?). I provided the order number and asked if I could have an update on the order. The salesperson did try to help but for some reason Sales do not have access to the Orders system, so an update could not be provided. I was informed someone from the Orders side of things would call me in 30-40 minutes. Guess what? No one called me. I now had to resort to Facebook messenger (credibility and any remaining trust for this company is completely gone by this point). I chatted with someone, explained what has happened and asked if for an update on shipping. I was told they will find out this info and get back to me. Drum roll...they never got back to me. Delayed order and no response to emails or phone calls
I placed an order on 1 March 2020 and sent several emails and tried calling to follow up after a couple of weeks of hearing nothing but they did not reply and when I phoned, I sat on hold multiple times for extended periods of time with no answer. The order was eventually displaced a few weeks later but no explanation as to the delay. Happy with products though.

Customer service non existing
Ordered a tyre cover 13 days ago and still received nothing. Called 2 days ago and a representative said they will email shipping details.....nothing.
Now called today and was placed on hold immediately without even speaking to anyone then they hung up on me.
Never again will use this company.

Reliable availability

Appalling Customer Service!
Order placed online 10 days ago and there has been no communication since, no updates on shipping or change in status. I have tried emailing their customer service multiple times (which says they will respond in 1 business day, but don't) and calling the order enquiry line with no response received.
Disappointing as their pricing is very competitive but customer service is appalling. Please contact me to update the order status and/or organise a refund.

Item not delivered
The item was ordered mid February 2020 and has not been delivered. I have sent a number of emails and was advised that the item was on its way but since then no further emails have been answered and the item has not arrived!

Sorry you couldn't get through we have been inundated with calls lately i'll have one of our customer service staff call you ASAP.
You'll probably receive the incorrect part when it does arrive anyway
They only order parts from the supplier when you place a order, that's why it takes so long. They don't have a warehouse in castle hill because I work across the road from them, the office is tiny.
