Rude staff and incompetent service
I ordered a second seat for my pram. Was told it would take 2 weeks and I would get a call when it came in. Never got a call I had to keep following up on it and finally 6 weeks later the wrong seat came in. There only solution was to pay $89 extra and take home the seat that came in or they could reorder it. sorry but I'm not waiting 12 weeks for a seat to come in. I will never shop here again and I will be telling all of my friends and family never to shop here!

Worst experience, rude customer service, slow and broken promises

i paid express shipping and my order sat for 4 days and was not even sent. I called to cancel the order as i couldn't wait any longer and was told i couldn't because it was on a pallet waiting dispatch. I then explained i needed it before the weekend hence paying for express shipping. I was told she would call me back. confirmed a consignment was created however they hadn't picked up anything yet. I called the team back and explained to them that they were lying about it being sent. I asked her to cancel my order in which she replied "so you expect to place an order on a Tuesday and receive it by Friday from VIC to SYD" Um yes i paid express shipping which states 2 days delivery!! After many phone calls i was finally told it would be cancelled and refunded. Waited 3 days no refund or confirmation of cancellation so I called again and spoke to a young guy who said its already been sent, the order isn't cancelled?? By this stage i am so annoyed. Explained the scenario to him AGAIN! he advised he will take care of it today and email me confirmation of the refund asap. 4 hours passed and still nothing. I thought i will give it another day. That afternoon i received a call from the couriers wanting to confirm my address (delivery was coming today) Not only did they have my address wrong but they never cancelled the order!!! I advised the courier to return to sender and called baby direct AGAIN explaining that they were going to deliver my order. I told them i had requested a return to sender. FINALLY the next day i received an email notification confirming cancellation of my order and that my refund will be processed. Will NEVER deal with them again and will make sure none of my family or friends do either. With the stress of a baby coming the last thing you want to be doing is chasing up an order that you paid express shipping for and being lied to PLUS waiting for your money to be returned! The lady i was dealing with was rude and condescending. They guy seemed friendly and helpful but didn't do what he said he promised so the friendly manner was pointless.

Worst online portal and service!
There online website advertises products they don’t have in stock and may need to wait months to receive. They are happy to take your money but have provided me with 3 inaccurate ETA dates. Every time I have had to chase them up and when they agreed to a refund, I still had to chase them up. To top it off, the incorrect amount was refunded.
They have know idea what they are doing and provide zero customer service. The worst Australian online baby store I have dealt with.

Absolute joke of a business!
Do not shop here, cheap, nasty products!
Absolutely no customer service, no support as my cot is faulty and after contacting baby direct several times for a service call no one has gotten back to me!
I’m an extremely angry and I will be following this up with them again tomorrow as I did phone during business hours today but they did not answer!

Delivery service extremely poor, staff yells at you
Purchased a cot at the Richmond location. The assistant at that store was very nice so I debated writing this review; however, had such a horrible customer service experience when trying to get my delivery that I thought I would share. Poor quality
Just like everyone else I had problems with stock arriving on time and some things coming before others. I purchased a cot chest of draws and rocking chair.
Cot and chest had heap of damages to it before getting painted so really POOR Quality, the drop side is really tuff to use and gets stuck.
Mattress feels really uncomfortable and my son spends more time in my bed.
Rocking chair is squeaking and making noises when I sit on it, only had it for 4 months don’t even use it anymore as it wakes my son up from the noise.

Still waiting for product 8 weeks
They are really struggling sent half the items we ordered, ended up sending them in the wrong colour so then we had to go instore and get the correct colour. Now we are waiting for the final item, they told us to pick it up from the warehouse, what??? we said no, you told us it would come in store. Please avoid them, they are struggling.

This is a horrible experience! We still haven't received our product after 6 weeks. They Never Update the product that is out of stock. When you email them, it takes 3 weeks to reply....Horrifying

This company will take your money, not disclose that most of what they offer is out of stock and provide multiple explanations adding addition items of your order that are also now out of stock - unable to let me know when they will be available outside without being vague.

ould me staggered order that’s one thing but this was not that. Unlike other reviews the staff I did speak to were polite which is the only reason I have given 2 stars. Avoid and go to baby bunting. Update - after repurchasing everything we needed from Baby Bunting the order was processed and delivered in under a week. All items arrived on date provided.1 comment
Further update - moving into second week and we haven't recieved full refund. Hands down the poorest experience I’ve had with a retail outlet.

Do Not Buy They Take A Long Time To Deliver
I have purchased my nieces baby shower present on 6th December 2017, with a 7 days road express delivery in stock, today is 23rd January 2018 and she is still waiting for her gift to arrive. They have just informed me that the supplier is out of stock and will be another 2-3 weeks. Aren't they the supplier? The are full of crap and I would never purchase from them again. Do not buy from Baby Direct
I had a layby with Baby Direct - Ringwood - never again. I had 3x items on hold - a pram, a cot and a toy box.
The toy box was paid in full, we owe less than $400.00 on the remaining two items. We were told - when ready - to call a day or two in advance to arrange the collection of our items which i did this morning - only to be told that my toy box had been sold to someone else and i had to wait another 3/5 weeks for mine to come in.

I have been waiting on a refund for a month and for a product for four months.
Never ever buying anything from these people.
I have called and spoken to [name removed] still no refund I don't think they have an accounts dept it'll be one person.

I ordered a Joolz pram from Baby direct (they are certainly not cheap, but I thought since Baby Direct have physical stores, they should be trustworthy). ETA was meant to be 2-3 weeks, which I was fine with. Called to check in at week 3, and was told it was coming that week, waited patiently. It would seem we’re having a similar issue with Baby-Direct re product not in stock and having to wait (which isn’t an issue providing we get what we ordered before the kid arrives). However they have now started to ask my partner for copies of her Drivers Licence to prove she’s not fraudulent. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

I did provide my driver's license and said I was happy to wait the few weeks it would take to come in. But then after waiting the time they estimated, I got another email saying it would be another few weeks. I would ask for a refund now and shop somewhere else.
No, I haven't been asked for my driver's licence. I would strongly advise against providing. After my experience, I wouldn't advise anyone to doing business with them.
