I was extremely grateful for the very prompt responses Pamela gave to all of my questions. This led to a very smooth and easy refinancing process. She is the ultimate processional and extremely courteous. My highest recommendation. I am very glad that I have made the switch. I am very pleased by BA's ethical values and the option of an offset account for my mortgage. Great product.

I was really keen to support a bank that is ethical but there are some services that are lacking, making it a difficult transition.
First there is no cheque account meaning my partner and I can't have a joint account transaction on the same card as our personal accounts.
Secondly the app is lacking compared to what the ING app can do. There's a daily limit of $2000 and trying to increase that limit requires calling customer service, downloading and manually setting up an authenticator app (that I can't even do via the app) and waiting days for ...

We have just moved our home loan to Bank Australia and have found Sonya Willis - Lending, fantastic. Sonya has provided step by step guidance through the whole lending process and has kept us informed on progress. In fact the whole process and team are fantastic, not just sorting out loan details but the folks setting up the accounts and making us feel welcome. I recently opened a Business bank account with Bank of Australia because their social consciousness values appeared to be in alignment with my own. However, what is equally important to me in banking is consistency, dependable customer service and ease of use. While Bank of Australia meets the social consciousness criteria, it has been a complete fail in the other 3 areas, so much so that I am regretfully feeling the need to close the account and move over to another bank who shares similar moral and ethical values and practices but also offers...

After decades as a customer of 2 of the big 4 banks, I moved to Bank Australia so my savings would no longer be used to fund expansionary fossil fuel projects and live animal exports. The online setup was smooth and easy, and the phone support for setting up a joint account was great. The online banking platform is intuitive and easy to use.

I have just joined this bank. The process was simple, and phone support was available on a Saturday. I think it is important to join a bank which funds the Australia we want in the future.

We have been customers of Bank Australia since May 2020. Jade Moore was absolutely impeccable. Obtaining our second mortgage was streamline because of Jades efficiency. She was professional and personable throughout the whole process. Jade was always contactable and kept us up to speed in a timely manner. Thank you Jade!

We decided to organise our mortgage with Bank Australia and move across all our accounts. I dealt with Hayley in their lending area who was excellent. Always helpful and informative. It took us a long time to find a house and we revised our budget - at all times Hayley worked through the numbers with us. Highly recommend moving across to BA!

Sonya Willis - lending team was super helpful, she listened, guided and delivered perfectly against our requirements. There are many challenges we face today whether they are IT related, as individuals or as a lender but Sonya helped navigate them all, many thanks.

The worst bank I have ever encountered in my life . .....due to their constant maintenance on their phone and internet banking I have been left with significant arears in my account .. and no one is available to contact direct.......I will be taking my issues further due to the unacceptable mistakes made by this bank

I signed up for BA and transferred my salary to go into it. Here is my story on why you should go elsewhere. The first signs of trouble were that the security by default is a text message for security, this is a terrible form of two factor authentication as anyone who has access to your number either by sim-swapping (calling Telstra pretending to be you) or just looking at the message pop up on your phone. I joined online so no need to go into the bank, which was a plus for me owing to the current lockdown in Vic.
The first month my insurance tried to take their payment it was declined. I thought it was a one off being that it was a new account. Each month the same thing happened and I would have to do a payment over the phone to them. bank australia called at times to check how i was doing as i progressed through changing over my personal account and home loan.
their email response time was great and i delt with the same person everytime even on the phone.

Firstly I'd like to congratulate Bank Australia for giving us the option of banking with an enviromentally responsible institutions.
My experience with Bank Australia online is positive, as a security concious customer I particularly appreciate the Symantec VIP app compatibility as I feel this makes online banking a lot safer against phone number porting and SIM scams.
I am however very critical of the the bank charging $0.25 fee for SMS alerts.
I previously banked with Westpac and I received a free instant notification whenever funds were transferred out of my account, I see this as an important security feature and should not attract a fee!

I’ve had great experiences with bank Australia in the past but this was easier and smoother than usual, great to see they’ve streamlined their processes! Rob was great to deal with and best thing is didn’t have to go printing and signing docs, very happy!

We have been with Bank Aust for approx 2 years, although they have opted for online transactions, we always find they respond in a timely manner & are very thorough & reliable.
