It's been a painful journey here.
I've got an Aldi non-smart TV through which I could hear bugga-all. About a year ago I bought the Aldi Soundbar that splits into two vertical cylindrical speakers. That was aesthetically elegant and convenient for the tight corner it all needs to fit into. But the remote was beyond useless and on all settings the bass was absurdly over-emphatic. Unlistenable. Also, cust serv said it couldn't receive digital radio, which was the third deal-breaker.
Fast forward to now. This one's just a bar; no shape morphing....

Cheap product that only lasted 13 months then the speaker packed up. I got what I paid for. I should have bought a better more expensive brand that would have lasted. I wouldn’t touch other electrical items of the brand like their TV.

I had bought Bauhn 2.0 Premium Bluetooth Soundbar with Enhansed Bass from ALDI store. I had it connected to my Bauhn smart TV using optical cable.
While in operation it suddenly starting producing popping noise (similar to hammering soind).
I switched it off completely and restarted the soundbar without any improvement. I even tried using other inputs mode: coaxial, bluetooth, AUX, USB drive. In all mode it is still producing the knocking sound. After leaving it on for sometime, it sometimes do produce normal output sound but again after few seconds the popping noise starts.Faulty substandard product. Do not buy

Bought this soundbar in March 2022. Was easy to setup for Optical and Bluetooth. Worked flawlessly until August 2022. The disappointing part of this purchase was the burning hoops that had to be handled in order to get a replacement.

Red light on soundbar keeps flashing, can’t seem to get it to work? Had only purchased this yesterday and it worked fine and left it on came back from work and it’s like this.. nothing in the manual says anything about a red flashing light on the sound bar?

On sale at Aldi on the 23rd March 19 for $119. First impression was that it was quite a solid build and visually appealing however only one colour. About 90cm long, 8 D, 6 H.Comes with a couple of cables, an optical and a 3.5 jack. Sits on either its feet or wall mounting brackets (included). I found it easy to set-up with cables attaching to the back. The sound is crisp and clear even at louder levels. Read moree having an "Enhanced Bass" as part of its description. The remote's EQ and Bass/Treb functions make little or no difference to the sound. There was no problem connecting Bluetooth to my mobile phone and laptop. Not a bad attempt and it will be interesting to see the durability of it.Questions & Answers
Can I ad more speakers to the soundbar
