Not worth the few pennies you would save, terrible quality!
After receiving the first mattress, $750 later, the mattress was soft/med, which should have been hard. So the mattress can be replaced. Great. Wait you have to pay for the return, the diff in price and the new delivery. It wouldn't have been so bad, yet the mattress still wasn't firm, and after "waiting to see if we would get used to it", the mattress lost even more of its firmness. estly the worst sleep we have ever had. And all our money has gone on the shonkey mattress, please don't make the same mistake! We paid good money, it's just not worth it!! Go to a real shop and seek reputable brands! Plus - mattress was delivery a day later than stated, causing a massive inconvenience, plus I had to help a man unload it off the back of a ute and carry it into my house! Plus - good luck fitting king size sheets on these mattresses, the standard ones don't fit as the mattress is to deep! Do Not Purchase From This Company!
My items were due to arrive yesterday and only one of the two items turned up. I did not receive a notification phone call 45 minutes prior to their arrival as stated in the email after purchase. I was not given a time that my late product would be delivered and it is now past midday. I have made three phone calls to the company to find out arrival time and also to upgrade my mattress. o answer. That's a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes on hold without an answer! I have emailed the company and been told that the person answering emails is filling in for someone that is sick and cannot answer my questions. My question was asking what time the mattress would arrive this afternoon and if I could upgrade before it arrives. So you can't call and you can't email but you can certainly pay a price in which you would expect a decent customer service! DO NOT BUY! I will be complaining to consumer affairs. Mattress never showed up, no notification call, not able to call or email company, bed turned up dusty with defects, takes too long to deliver

Terrible - avoid
I bought a mattress from Bedbuys about 10 months ago, and had a similar issue to another described here in that I was told a delivery day, which i took off from work, only to have it not turn up, and it arrived the next day. I received no communication from them at all to advise me of the delay. I stupidly gave them another chance and have a current order with them and - guess what - the Same issue. I had to call the courier company myself to find out what the deal is and had no communication from Bedbuys. Customer service is useless. Will Never buy from them again - what a joke.
They are happy enough to take your money but not deliver

Went online to buy a bedside table, Tallboy and dresser. The product prices were definately not the cheapest but they offered free delivery. $1600 later; The Items never arrived.
Reading the reviews prior to my purchase I was hesitant in the outset, I took the time to call the Sales and delivery centre to get an expected delivery period, estimated 10 days from Melb - Perth.. OK
Three weeks later I am writing this in anger as after neumerous e-mails, copious phone calls to the ops manager and the dispatch centre, I have had nothing but trouble. Trust your gut and the reviews above. Do not buy from this site!

Horrible experience, save yourself the headache
Ordered a mattress and ensemble delivery date was emailed to me the next day, they missed the delivery date without any notification. I called the customer service line and was promised and guaranteed delivery On the next day.
Next day comes around and still no bed and no communication whatsoever. Call them up and the person in charge of delivery is conveniently not at her desk. Called several times and left several messages with no response. Awful customer service. Save yourself the money and headache of dealing with these people. I won't be surprised to see them in receivership soon.

What a joke!
Long story short do purchase anything off them!they said they would give a time and date of the arrival and we didnt get that, they just shwoed up un announced, then with no matress and we were told basicly to go [censored word removed] it wasnt the delivery drivers fault,then when we opened the frame it was broken, we rang customer service basicly to complain and the lady was lovely but unhelpful, it was made out that it was out fault and now have to take pictures to prove it and it will take a few weeks to get a new one and at that if we get a new bed we must dispose of the old bed ourselfs!! they are a total nightmare to deal with!!

Hi all, I have been trying to find a review on bedbuys.com.au but this is the only one review I found on whole internet. So, still confused if I should buy anything from them or not as I am planning to buy a bed suite and mattress from them. And also I called dealsdirect.com.au to see if bedbuys.com.au is related to them in anyway but they just said they are no longer related to bedbuys.com.au.(BUT in bedbuys.com.au it still says BROUGHT TO YOU BY DIRECTDEALS.COM.AU.

customer service issues
I made an order for a mattress and received an email stating the date it would be delivered and that I would be contacted by them the day before, to sort out a time. I took time off from work to receive the delivery which happened to be the day after a public holiday. I received no communication from them, even on the morning of the delivery. I had to phone 3 times before I was eventually told it would be delivered the next day and that I should have assumed as it had been a public holiday the day before, that they would not be able to delive...Read more

I received no apology, even after I explained that I do not sit at home all day waiting for deliveries and they themselves set up the original date and didn't advise me of any changes in the date of delivery. In fact, after I cancelled the order, it was implied I was being unreasonable in expecting some sort of communication and decent customer service in what was their mistake. Unbelievable. And the Australia Retail Association wonders why we Australians prefer to order from the USA. Update: Received courteous phone call from the general manager to resolve issue. While this is great and I appreciate it, some education re: customer skills is still required for the staff member I spoke with previously. The website is professional and the original order communication was courteous and fast; received communication from general manager to resolve issue No advice of any changes to the date of order - was assumed I would know without being told; no initial apology after their mistake; ridiculous not to deliver the day after a public holidaySimilar opinion? Can I trust bedbuys.com.au????? Looking for reviews on them but this is the only review I can find and still not sure if I really want to purchase anything from them.

I've only had the one experience with them and that was the one you read on the review site. I can't really recommend them but due to my complaining about the issues I had, I have a feeling their customer service will have improved as it was taken really seriously. Also, I only dealt with one person initially and they were the problem from the start. However, as you can see, I did receive some help from someone higher up after I cancelled the order so the response to my complaint was pretty decent.
If you do buy from them, just make sure you receive the right date and time of delivery and make sure you phone the day before to confirm it. I can't speak for the products themselves as I cancelled my order.

I have purchased twice from bed buys 2xqueen size beds and have had no problems with delivery very happy with this site am going to order the car bed next hope u find this helpfull
