Still waiting on our order emailed few times no reply there is no phone number to contact just want a refund to go else where selling stock that not available

A little slow in processing order but after that first rate
I ordered a case of beer that, most recently, has become hard to find. After making the order I waited about 4 business days before I received confirmation that my order was being processed. But after that I had the product at my door within a couple of days.

Unapologetic about mistakes, slow to process your order
Placed an order on the 15th of November for 2 items, easy to use website and a great range.
Unfortunately, that's where the good stops.
Got an email on the 23rd (8 days later..) that an item I purchased was priced incorrectly.
No apology at all for the mistake, no offer to make it up in any way. The email itself actually implies that I'm at fault.
The only offer was to refund or send me a different sized version of what I ordered.
Still waiting for the order to come in so can't rate the shipping.
I just know I will never shop here again and would warn others against it.

Good Range Terrible Service.
Hard Truth. Beer Store it's 2017, not the stone age no one domestically should have to wait 10 business days to receive a package it's honestly appalling. I ordered the same product 2 days later from a different store and still received it before your original order. I receive 99% of my orders within 5 days domestically.

Great range, amazing customer service
I have used these guys to get hard to find alcohol a few times. I have always found them professional and prompt with orders and they are amazing when you need their help. Highly recommend for your alcohol needs!

Found what I was looking for.
Can I just say straight up, I do not drink, well not for quite a few years anyway, so I am no expert on this kind of thing. This was a one off as I was looking for a particular liqueur for my mum as a present. It was not available anywhere else. Mum had been trying to get it since it left Australian shelves over a year ago, and after an exhaustive search and many emails I came across this place. is fair enough, as I didn't really give them time by the time I'd found them. I chose to pick it up from their retail store, Acland Cellars, which is nearly a 2 hour drive from me, but worth it in my opinion to make mum happy. Their staff were very busy but still friendly, and they knew all about my email and what I was looking for. Can't wait to see the look on mums face, thanks guys! Great range, shame about the service
Finally found the beer we have been chasing & was very excited. Placed an order & waited & waited for if to arrive. Sent an email enquiry, received a response a couple of days later, stating there was damage to the freight that they were not informed of & would contact customer service & get back to me. Well no further email, but order arrived badly packed & 3 to 4 bottles missing & the rest sticky! So obviously there were breakages... Emailed about the state of the order & no response what so ever. Not happy after spending $130+... Would not place another order with these guys.....

Great Potential
Whilst trolling through the net searching for my favorite tipple that a major chain no longer stocks I happened to come across the web-site for The Beer Store. Happily, they stock more than beer. without sighting my order I sent off a polite email regarding the fate of my order. And then a couple of days later another email. A few days after that I just rang them not having received a reply to either email. It turns out the items I ordered has been mis-listed. They came in 500mls bottles, not the 700mls that was listed on the site (and therefore my order). It was quickly worked out on the phone by an efficient staff member who followed up my enquiry and quickly rectified things. The stock arrived 2 working days later. Now, given that had ordered $200 worth and needed the items ASAP after the delay I didn't ask the obvious question of the guy over the phone - "if there was an issue with the order why wasn't I contacted, nevermind simply replying to my emails?" I wanted the items to arrive in time for the function I had coming up and didn't want to alienate the staff member on the phone. This at least seems to have paid off. He was great. Perhaps if he was put in charge of keeping customers informed as to the fate of the order I could give the company 5 stars. Still I'll go back for their product range. 've had one of the major chains on-line sites do the same thing to me before. I must just be real lucky. I'll just make sure I use the phone to follow up on any delays. Great selection, good experience.
I ordered some beer for my partner's birthday, and the item was shipped out on time, however, a breakage occured with the courier company, and it took a couple days before it was all sorted out. Obviously, I don't blame it on Beer Store as it wasn't with them and accidents do happen. I did have to follow up a couple of times, and the scheduled delivery date got changed a couple of times, but Beer Store always responded and made sure to address my query. an order is made online, this isn't usually an option. The company graciously provided me with credit for the shipping costs, and overall, I am a satisfied customer and would definitely recommend Beer Store to anyone with exotic beer tastes.
