25 years of good service
I have had an account with Bendigo bank for 25 years, I only opened an account to get a mortgage and I had 3 other accounts with major banks. closed them all down because they could not beat bendigo for service or fees or helping when I had a problem. when I walk into other banks and see the wait times. I laugh and if im charged an what I consider an unfair fee. I talk to them and 95% of the time they withdraw the fee. Could not be happier. a great bank :) :)

Best of the worst
Banks are always going to be annoying to deal with but Bendigo makes it barable. I’ve been with them for 4 years and they have never done me wrong. Customer service is always good. They seem such happy people for what I can only imagine is a rough job

Customer service First!
Have been Considering opening an Account with Bendigo Bank in Sheffield, have found the Branch Pleasant and Quick, but due to The Sheffield Branch being Closed on Mondays, we Drove over to Shearwater Branch, despite two Tellers I had to wait for 15 minutes. The Male Teller with the Dog behind the Desk Handled one Customer then passed on the next Customer to the Tall Female Teller stating that she would know how to help her. was Disappointing. While waiting I Noticed the Sign Warning Customers That the Tellers had no Access to Cash, but if you Magnify the photo Provided you will see two Heaps of $100 & $50 Notes at the Desk Left by the Male Teller, there must have been about $ 10 - $20 Thousand dollars sitting there, There seems to be some Shoddy Practice taking place in a number of Ways.Similar opinion? Absolutely appalling service
Registered online to do a one of share trade which should have taken one day, in 4 weeks I have spoken to 7 different customer service operators who promise you the world are apologetic about the companies poor service, tell you they have put a priority on the trade, speak with their Managers and still nothing is done. From day one they do not acknowledge receipt of paperwork, do not communicate via email or phone and even when promises are made to personally follow through, nothing is communicated. Do not ever consider using this service!

"Community" Bank preys on its vulnerable clients
I've been banking with BB for almost 18 years. Six years ago my circumstances changed and I became a Pensioner Concession Card holder. Two years ago BB introduced a no fee concession account. During multiple, monthly in branch visits and various phone calls and despite receiving my pension payments directly into this account, BB never once informed me of this, more suitable, FREE product.

July 17th 2022 Update: complaints !!
With bendigo bank seems to be a waste of time in making a complaint . Firstly there seems to be conflict of interest with branch staff!! Don't respond in writing, either email or a letter. l hope lm not dealing with a corrupt organization. l suppose that would be of concern to me if that was the case.

I have to say that after a phone call with Bendigo Bank this morning and speaking to a lovely lady it appears bendigo adelaide bank is looking at our concerns and trying their very best to come up with a resolution for our parents home to be released to enable their care to continue in aged care. From that phone call I am feeling confident that a resolution will be happening soon and I look forward to confirming the banks support and care in this matter

Irresponsible Lending and Financial Elder Abuse - Why does Bendigo Bank allow full pensioners to become guarantors .
How can a bank withhold deeds to an elderly couple's home that they require for Aged Care.
My father who went guarantor for a loan of $250k for a Company at the age of 79yrs and a full pensioner with small amount of savings and no other form of income. Bendigo Bank allowed the loan for 30yrs. This would make my dad 109yrs old when the loan was to be repayed.

I would like to know and receive a copy of the Manager’s process on managing irresponsible lending. I want to know do any checks or due diligence occur when lending large amounts of money against a property owned by an 80yr old man with no income, is on a pension and has been of ill health for over 10yrs?!

Inconvenience and Arrogance are Bendigo banks new forté !
Have been with this bank for near 20 years.
Bendigo bank has degenerated to the lowest of low levels, likened to that of
the big 4 and AMP !
After major management reshuffles ruined the service at Windsor(and many other southern peninsula branches) staff have become so disinterested or arrogant and deplorable that I had no option but to close my term deposit account and take it to a better company.

Sneaky interest rates
Each year they rename their home loans, so have one interest rate for new customers, a different one for older customers. If you stick with them as a loyal customer you will be rewarded with them spiking up you interest rate far above their recent loans!

Bank with Bendigo if you want to pay Fee’s on top of Fee’s on top of Fee’s! Terrible Customer Service, terrible processing speeds, just all round bad service. Short term customer already had enough.

Excellent customer service
I've been banking with Bendigo for the last 20 years. I have nothing but praise for the staff and customer service. While I realise satisfaction may vary from branch to branch I would highly recommend to anyone.

Well worth it
I purchased a product online abd it was nothing like it was advertised.
There was no contact address or way of contacting them.
BENDIGO bank got threw to this ghost company and got my money back to me.

Customer Service is AWFUL
As a Bendigo Bank customer for over 25 years, really sad to see how customer service has deteriorated as the bank has grown. When we discharged our mortgage last year, hoping to get the title of our home by Christmas, paperwork magically disappeared meaning we had to chase ot up with bank and then waited over 4 months for the title to the home we worked so hard to pay off. This set off a series of disgraceful customer service experiences. When we complained through their customer service advocacy department - the only response we got was 'I don't know how this happened'.
Bendigo Bank you have spoken loud and clear about how little you value your customers - we're taking our banking elsewhere.

When you’re a big bank, you have big responsibilities. So we only care about our big clients.
I have been with this bank forever and I withdrew my super because I have fallen on hard times.
So to have my super account dwindle by nearly a quarter due to fees + fees + fees. Then to be sent a cheque two days before the long weekend due to a big stuff up on their end... I rang my bank to ask if there was anyway they could process it more quickly.
He said he would see what he can do. Then obviously looked at how not rich I am and stated that he wouldn't help and even if I paid a fee to have it processed quicker, it wouldn't be process...Read more
ed before the long weekend - even though it's Thursday and if it's meant to be quicker than the 3 normal days processing, should be Friday. He then said he could help me with maybe a little bit and I asked why he couldn't give me the full amount and he said anything could happen with a cheque and we aren't willing to take that chance. Well how has cash Converters allowed me to do it instantly? I had to pay them 10% but whatever. I don't expect to do anything anymore in life without paying through the teeth and losing a substantial amount of my own money before I actually see it.Similar opinion? Not bigger than a bank, more like "worse than a bank"
Lagging way behind from other banks. No option to reset password online, nor to even register for online banking! Calling customer service to do these things is a pain, always more than 20 mins wait. Last time I was on hold for 48 minutes then they hung up! Beyond frustration!

Absolute shameful, consumers are still waiting for their money and Bendigo will not speed up payments !
Absolutely and totally disappointed ! I am STILL waiting for income payment ! Speed up payments Bendigo !! Your at fault so process consumers payments so they can eat and get medication !!! Most of us DO NOT earn enough NOT to live day by day ! I’m STILL WAITING !
