Big W Retail StoresI bought a Philips series electric shaver my first as i was using throw away razors this shaver is brillant its quiet and does a good close up shave i would reconmend this shaver just the job i still have my battery Philips shaver my mum bought me in 1988 sadly you can get the blades for this anymore its seems any Philips brand off shaver is the way to go hope i can buy the blades for this shaver when the time come all up very happy with my new Philips electric shaver comes with little brush and pouch it carry so if you are after a shaver than run out and buy this one you will enjoy it does the job
Racist Employee

As I walk into the store yesterday I said "Hi, how are you?" to the lady at the entrance. She looked really grumpy and turned her face away. I didn't really cared so I kept walking into the store looking for what I wanted to buy. Couldn't find what I was looking for so I walk out to exit the store. Again I was being polite and said "Thank you" as I was walking out.
She again was grumpy and looked the other way. At the exact moment another customer was walking out. She start to smile and said "Thank you and have a good day!"
I was like wth...what is her problem. Because I am Asian and the other customer is not Asian.
To confirm my suspicions I stand at the front of the store and watched...and discovered:

Manager never showed concern if I was HURT or anyone and got angry because no I don't want to kill myself with another SAME PRODUCT or exchange... Which is all he deceitfully told me he can do. Very disappointed
Big W Retail StoresI have received a gift from Big W and decided to go change for something else. I did not remove the tag, and did not open it, it was still wrapped in plastic with the bar code, however the costumer service did not accept the change without the receipt. How am I going to ask for a receipt when it is a gift?
I have never had this problem with Kmart, target and other stores, I do not recommend getting gifts from Big W to anyone.
This product is good but need better quality of material
Big W Retail StoresAbout 12 months ago I saw that Big W were selling Champion underwear so I thought I will try it out so I brought a pair washed them before I wore them they were great until last week when I noticed a good sized rip below the band I paid about $18 bucks for them I honestly don’t think I will buy them again because after wearing them heaps of time and Washing them the Cotten material gets really thin and the leg of the underwear goes out of shape if those things were sorted out I probably would buy again until then I will go back to the crap Kmart underwear that at least doesn’t rip after 12 months
This product is extremely poor quality
Big W Retail StoresI purchased brilliant basics boys undershorts and after wearing a pair for one day they had holes on both sides from pulling them up and there was a tear in the crotch. This product is of such poor quality and if I had not paid money for it, it would almost be comical. I like many other people, am really fed up with getting such inferior products!

Management was super nice to me however they are treating their minority employees with cotton gloves even though these employees are unhappy to be at work bullying not their kind but other minority customers all over the place to not try on jumpers on top of shirts...

Big W Retail StoresReturns service is flawless. I bought an item from BIG W that stopped working within a few weeks. Customer service were really good with sorting out a resolution.This is not the first time they have sorted out my returns. Gives me peace of mind knowing that when I buy products from there they do have a good post sales support which I cannot say for other stores I have experienced.
Only con would be the aircon is sometimes way to warm and I feel uncomfortable but that maybe just me lol.

Big W Retail StoresI got some electrical items and at the check out needed some help regarding an adapter they wanted me to pay for the other items and for me to go again and find the right item I came and paid and after walking out few metres from store I was stopped as for some unknown error the beeper went off after the cash registers exit
The there was no social distancing policy as they checked my big w Bag
I returned all item including the adapter for their attitude and terrible customer service
Party section
Big W Retail StoresWe were just trying to get a balloon and get it filled. We had to wait for a very long time three staff asked us if we are being served, then said someone was coming and continued doing their own thing. A person finally came. Turns out they didn’t even have helium! Poor service.
Staff actually care and go out of their way to assist. Thank you.
Big W Retail StoresPurchased an item that was from confusion, I was allowed to get the right product which Emma from Laybuy and her manager fixed my underlying issue.
I also had to chase up a receipt I lost to be able to get my bonus from Breville. Staff were friendly and made me laugh as we chatted.
I have not slept more than 2 hrs a night for around 7 days now so Big W's empathy towards anything I have raised concerns abt have always netted positive results.
The staff at Karingal really do go above and beyond what many other retailers do not.
Once again, thank you for helping me with my health issues.

Poorly trained staff
Big W Retail StoresOn two separate occasions have struggled with staff thinking they are the police over corona virus concerns.
We are all aware of the seriousness but to be berated in public a few weeks ago and treated like garbage today unsure how to work out entering and leaving, I will never spend my money here again.
Sadly only the multiple stealing groups will keep the shop going.
Had exactly what I wanted

I found the quilt, quilt cover, pillows, sheet set and cushions that I pictured and have had the best sleep.

Be wary using reusable bag!

Big W Retail StoresBig W is a great store,it has everything from clothes to food to housewares and electronics.They have a great laybuy system and customer service is always very good.The prices are very affordable,I find they’re cheaper than Target but more than Kmart;the quality at Big W is very good though.

Then it turned out the (pool) item was out of stock. I then had to wait for a lengthy period whilst various staff organised a refund.
The worst bit was the extremely rude & helpful attitude of the staff.

They sell faulty product
Big W Retail StoresI bought a 32 GB SD card from big w, I inserted it in my security camera and few days later tried to check if it is be saved to my SD card, and on my computer it shows the SD card is not readable, tried few times with different adapters still didn’t work, I went back to the store where I purchased it, they said the package is opened so they can’t give me a refund or exchange, but seriously, how would I know if it is not working until I open the package and tried it?

Big W Retail Storeswent on the website prior to going to the store to guarantee i would find what i’m looking for. there were 4 options. they had only one of those four in stock, men’s medium. i was looking for a women’s size small. took three workers to help me find the shirt and non of them could explain to me why the shirts were advertised on the website when they were old stock that they no longer had.
Trying To Purchase Dyson Handstick
Big W Retail StoresSo, Merrylands BIG W whilst trying to purchase Dyson Handstick which is in current sales catalogue, we are told its available at lay-by counter. When we approached Lay-by counter we were told they don't have any, and are only available on Thursdays or Fridays, but we can neither put our name down for one, or order one and pay for it now. When we asked if we could reserve or pay for one, the girl scrunched up her nose, shook her head and said "No". So not sure how to obtain their goods that are put out the back for safe keeping, if the staff don't assist with sales or helpful information.

Big W Retail StoresThe prices are always so cheap, and they always have lots of stock. I have never been able to not buy a product I went in store to buy. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. The store is usually pretty tidy, but sometimes is a bit too disarrayed. When collecting click and collect, they are very fast and the process is very simple. I really like the fact that Big W offers Afterpay.

I once was short changed but the shift manager made it right and gave me an additional ten dollars off an existing layby to compensate. Overall very happy with the staff but there probably should be more of them or more being trained on layby.

As a male, size medium the offerings are now fugal in the men's wear dept.Unless you are a 3XXL it is no longer worth looking.

Big W Retail Stores@ around 2.35 today on 3rd of February, try to contact bigW menai ask for book title Called targeting Homework, waiting on the phone and transferred 2- 3 times, and last time asked if I want to hold, I said no more wait, I need you to fix my problem, unprofessional way talking to the customer, with no even apologize as get the client waiting something normal.

Bad Customer Service
Big W Retail StoresI bought a Combo HP 21 & 22 Cartridge, approx. 3 months ago. They worked for a short period of time, then they didn't print anymore. Both cartridges are almost full. They're still quite expensive (around $65). I went to the store (Marion, South Australia) were I've purchased the item, but they've (store manager - Nick Taylor) asked me for the receipt which I din't have. I've shown him the cartridges in the original package but he wouldn't help me. Then I've called Customer Care (1300 244 999) and I've got someone from New Zealand to help me.

Big W Retail StoresMy daughter brought a size M T-shirt for Xmas, its fit is too tight - Big W will not exchange for a size L, unless a itemised original receipt is produced which has been misplaced, they can't match a credit card slip transaction to it either unlike their competitors - I'm thinking of taking my business elsewhere & recommend others to do so as well via social media !
Konka 10.1" Tablet - TE1011 xmas present gone bad

Apart from trying to work out how to operate it and barely using it because we have been away it now seems to have locked the gift recipient out of his tablet completely after the tablet did some sort of update earlier tonight when the unit was turned on after being off for two days. Big W Retail StoresBig W is now my go to department store. Used to be K-mart but I cant even sign up for an online account with them due to their stupid signup process. Plus Big W have a better range at competitive prices, with decent specials. Using AfterPay at Big W is a simple process. The staff are always friendly and helpful. One guy went to great lengths to locate the item I was looking for. Their website is also very good. Kudos to the buyer for T shirts, definitely the best prints and quality out of all the budget department stores.
They dont listen, selling Konka tablet with malware, virus
Big W Retail StoresSo its proof Big W are more interested in money than your privacy or online safety. The Konka TE1011 tablet comes with inbuilt malware. Quite a nasty variant that can steal your info and send back to China. The malware cannot be removed and will cause your tablet to get hot and slow down. Big W were shown the problem yet continue to sell them compromising your personal info and google account. The malware can also download more malware. Perhaps they will listen when a law suit begins.They also wont print my review in the BigW page.
