Over BigpondBrisbane
Completely hopeless
Big Pond movies worked fine until about 2 months ago ... now every time I think I'll give it another chance something always goes wrong. From not accepting my payment, buffering (this is endless!) and tonight it has told me I'm playing a movie on more than one device ... which I'm not. Sat on hold with tech support (after having to search for the number cause it's not on their website ... and yes this is Telstra a telephone company!) only to be told there is an outage this evening and to try again in about 24 hours.

ally terrible things happening in the world and on the overall scale of things this is absolutely nothing ... but Telstra/Bigpond don't hold yourselves out to deliver a premium service then just not do it. Seriously ... it's all you do how hard is it to get it right!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Useless service
Extremely slow and inefficient service. Says I have reach my monthly limit on devices.. I have only ever used the service on one device. Is extremely slow and incapable of playing from a resumed spot. Has been particularly bad recently. Picture quality also drops regularly. Stick to Netflix/Stan!!

Free trial was ok. But they provided no way to pay for ongoing movies. Credit card must be issued from a bank. So the Credit union we have all out accounts with including home loan and credit card was not accepted. I have used this card all over the world but apparently not good enough for bigpond?
Very frustrating as it is the only movie app on our panasonic smart tv.

Buffering constantly
Can't watch movies from bigpond at all on my LG smart TV. Netflix works fine on the same TV. I have phoned Telstra about the problem, they are no help at all (no surprise there), they tell me to get a booster, even though the modem sits 3m from the TV.

Buffering Problems
This service always has problems. Netlfix and others fine. Seriously should just shut down and not waste everybody's time. Either do it properly or disconnect the service. I certainly will be!!

Doesn't let me finish a movie the next day
Movie not saved to my Library so unable to watch the end. Then on hold to Telstra for 20 minutes before being told the Bigpond Movies technical services office not open until 11am EST.

You have hardly anything on there to watch
Been on it for year and the movies are few and far between good ones. Lots of really old cheap crap barely any new titles come. And the whole family has complained bout same thing not good enough for this day and age.

Absolutely terrible
Tried to watch a movie last night (New Release), and the play back was jerky, making the dialogue in the movie hard to understand. The movie stopped playing 5 times. Had to restart Bigpond movies each time. Couldn't even watch the last 5 minutes of the movie. Have no problems with other streaming services such as Netflix (even with two devices watching movies or shows), or Amazon Prime, or other free services such as ABC Iview, and SBS On demand.

App is so bad you can't even give it your money
Attempted to hire a movie after the new update and it required us to input our payment details again (very annoying to begin with), but now we can't add any payment details in out telstra tv or online. Wasted 30 mins trying to pay for something and the whole thing is so bad that it won't even take money we are trying to give it. Do not use this, Netflix and Stan are far superior services.

Not letting me pay
It was very tricky to even set up the account, so many errors. Finally we set it up and tried to set up a payment plan by both adding it to our telsta bill and credit card. Both have not worked. We have been trying to watch a movie for over an hour now, ridiculous. Get your act together!

BigPond Movies and Telstra TV - What a total waste of time
Don't bother "hiring" movies using BigPond movies.
Settled in for a movie night with the family. Went to the BigPond Movie app on our new Telstra TV and sat there for around 40 minutes with either a lagging screen or a swirling buffer that did nothing. Eventually gave up as the buffering was too annoying. 10mins buffering = 30secs of movie.
In the end after much frustration we switched over to the old faithful T-Box (which Telstra in their wisdom is getting rid of) and downloaded the movie via that site. This wasn't available to watch...Read more

Terrible download
BigPond constantly has trouble downloading, especially on weekends. Netflix and Stan always works, if it isn’t corrected soon I won’t use this service as this has been happening for a while.

Given up
Streamed 3 films, 1st one stopped and went back to the beginning twice, 2nd seemed ok but stuttered a few times, 3rd gave up half way through, it was like watching with dial-up, the 1st 50 mins took 1hr and 20 mins. will not be coming back. Never a prob with Stan and Netflix.

For something so simple its awfully frustrating
Awful..constantly have to reload with username passwords..then hangs..takes away the desire to watch a movie..and why should one pay for this frustration. .30 minutes wasted typical telstra

What crap
Did not sign up for Bigpond movies at all but the kids managed to purchase all these movies, Telstra promised to remove the charges and make Bigpond movies inactive but a few months later the kids have brought more movies and Telstra still have not removed the charges. Not happy.

Horrible
The old bigpond movies worked great. Every time. Since the upgrade it never loads, it's freezes, its confusing and it's crap.

Hi Rami
I stream bigpond thru my tv not the computerso not sure how to help you there but you could try using the latest internet cable "cat 6a" much faster and more bandwidth connect it between modem and computer cost about $11 /3metre
I like to use google play for movies can download instead of stream so I can view on any device
thanks Kevin, will try.
I rang telstra because I couldn't view with my google chrome anymore and they told me that it was no longer compatible so I had to install Mozilla because I don't like Internet explorer or Edge. Google chrome used to work though.
