So disappointing!
I am so disappointed with our local Bing Lee store. Over the years I have bought a lot of items from them, including dishwashers, washing machines, TV’s & countless small appliances too....but no more! I bought a TV & the remote didn’t work after six months so I took it back to the store, the staff weren’t very helpful at all. They gave me a phone number to ring, which took me 2 days to get on to them (the phone would ring out, they said they would send a new remote but 2 weeks have passed & no remote! Can’t watch TV as we had it installed on to the wall, so can’t get to the switches at the back! So sorry Bing Lee, you have lost a good customer!

Excellent service all round
The service I get from Bing Lee Casula is the best . They have great staff whom are always helpful
In particular, . We recently purchased a new oven and fridge. We had a misunderstanding ( our fault), on the models of fridge we bought. After two days we set the fridge up to discover it was not the one we wanted. We called Bing Lee and they gladly replaced it with the one we wanted, and we are truly satisfied. Thanks to everyone at Bing Lee. Great service

Very happy customer
Hello. I just want to say thank you to Steve and his staff at your Bing Lee store in Albury. I was looking for a stick vacuum and it happened that it was Steve who spent his time helping me to choose a vacuum(Dyson vs LG which I ended up getting a Dyson) that will suit our need. I went to this store firzt and I shopped around in other stores and went back to this store because of the helpful staff, very friendly and professional attitude! Thumbs up for this store. I will come back again to buy my toaster. Thank you again.

Competition for customers/sales
My comment is that competition among staff for customers is visible and not appreciated. I was told that there was no one upstairs and then followed. He then watched me buy from the prearranged staff member who was upstairs. That made me feel uncomfortable.
It shows how tough it is to make a living (commission) and the procedure should be changed. I am happy with the product although another Bing Lee store did tell me that it was a discontinued model but my local store did not - a little deceptive.
Give them a go but be aware. I wish I had spoken up at the time but didn't.

Bing Lee are exploiting their staff members.
I have worked for many retail stores and Bing Lee are the first place whom I've worked for where they blatantly exploit your workers rights. They also are not too kind to customers, breaking ACCC rules and refusing refund for faulty goods within the first 10 days of purchase. Penrith store excellent / professional sales man, unfortunately aggressive and nasty admin person.
I went into Penrith Bing Lee on Saturday 28/4/2018 to look at purchasing a number of large items for a new house. The gentleman that assisted me with prices was excellent, he could not have been more helpful. for a stapler to attach his card to the list of appliances we had discussed he was told in the most aggressive and condescending way " Don't touch that stapler, use the other one over there. The gentleman then asked this woman was it broken and her reply was " no just don't touch it and you use that one. She continued with the other disparaging remarks and muttering under her breath and attempting to stare him down. This nasty aggressive behaviour by this woman in front of a customer was uncalled for. The filthy looks she gave him, speaking to him in a aggressive, nasty manner had to be believed to be seen. I told him that he did not deserve it and that he should not put up with it. Apparently she is like this to most of her colleagues and some of the others have just stated that its her manner. Let me very clear if it was not for this gentleman being so gracious I would not return to that store because this is how she treats colleagues, God help any customer she comes into contact with. She did not have the right to treat him or anyone else in the manner. What amused me was she an older woman from a non-English speaking background and the younger gentleman was also not from an non Australian background but I dare say if the shoe was on the other foot and he treated her in this manner, there would be loud accusations of discrimination from her. Bing Lee Management do all your stores allow employees to get away with this behaviour? Pretty terrible in-store experience with rude staff
I just had a pretty terrible experience at the Bing Lee Westfield store in Chatswood. I had gone into the store hoping to use my Westfield gift card, and one of their staff refused to match the price of their own online store.

Shop Assistant has attitude
I used to love shop at Bing Lee at Hay Market branch since the staffs and managers were very friendly but again I’m talking about 10 years ago.
Moved back to live in Australia recently and needed to get some appliances for our home and recalled “Bing Lee” since had a great customer service but to my surprised went to the one in Rhodes and Chatswood, the staffs were rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all.

Rude staffs in carlingford store and very poor customer service from hq
I took my Philips pressure cooker to your Carlingford branch for refund 2 days ago and I had very unpleasant experience at your branch.

I told him we only used ONCE the pot for cooking soup with no sharp object used. His comment was the teflon coating in the inner pot is prone to scratches even with use of plastic utensil. he challenged me by asking how many years do I expect the inner pot to be free of scratches? I just can't accept the fact that the inner pot scratch issue after only using it ONCE without use of sharp utensils There are another reasons I want to return the unit. 1 of the other issues is, the steam tray is deformed. Sal said it is normal for the tray to deform! What a joke! He took the tray and bent in front of me trying to show me the tray is made of soft plastic, but the tray cracked! I told him to put in writing that he broke my tray but He refused to sign on my invoice and just simply replaced it with new one for me. Not to mention there wasn't Even sorry for breaking customer's stuff. What does the crack on tray mean? Another quality issue! Also, the sealing ring always fall off after my cooking done. Staff extremely rude at Mt Druitt store
Ordered a DVD player online for pick up at Mt Druitt store (a good 30+ minutes train trip from my home). The lady from the store rang me yesterday to say it was ready to pick up and I must bring the credit card that I paid with. Today I make the trip to Mt Druitt. The store was empty except for staff standing around. The first guy I spoke to asked for my drivers licence and I explained I didn't have one. o smile, no anything. She then asked for my drivers license and I explained that I had been contacted by one of their staff and told to bring my credit card. The girl disappears and comes back 10 minutes later with another guy. Again, the drivers licence. For the third time I explain a licence is not necessary to buy a DVD player. I show him my credit card which matches with the number on the order. I show him the order email with the order number. He supposedly rings the online service, wastes another 10 minutes, then announces he is STILL not going to give me the product I bought. No smile, no friendliness, personality of a highway patrol cop. So outside the store I rand the online service who were very apologetic, confirmed that I didn't need my license and said they'd ring the store and get them to give me the product I had purchased. I am then placed on hold for a good 10 minutes, and the online girl came back to the call and apologised that even she couldn't convince the store to release my purchase and agreed to refund. So off to JB HiFi I go, explained to them the situation. They gave me a 25% (25% WTH?!?!) discount, smiled, helped me with questions I had about blue ray DVDs. WOW what a difference!! The reason why there's no-one in Bing Lee is simply because they are not very nice people. Simple but true. Don't go there.1 comment

Bing lee Hornsby - exceptional sales knowledge and service - ours was experience.
Purchased a new fridge at Bing Lee Hornsby.
I must say that we were blown away by the extreme product knowledge and help provided by Kimberly from this store. After browsing in store at the range we were so impressed with her encyclopedial knowledge and honest answers to all questions. You will need to go a long way to find this level of sales professionalism in any field.

The sales man Gabriel was informed about his products and recommended the right product for my needs at a very competitive price.The installer Kamran and team did a excellent job of installing my air con. It was nice to deal with professional and courteous member of your staff and a qualified installer of air cons. The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. Unboxed it outside of my apartment - damaged goods
I was satisfied with my shopping experience in Hornsby with a man that had passion and knowledge of all products (his name was Terrance). Unfortunately, this is not the basis of my score, if it was due to customer service I would rate him 5/5; but it was ruined by the delivery of the goods.

Bing Lee tries to breach Australian Consumer Law
I purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner from Bing Lee Chatswood, which stopped working properly after a few months. I went back to the store and the store assessed the vacuum cleaner as having the following faults: "Stops while in use, loss of suction, very loud motor". This was obviously a major issue so I asked for a full refund or replacement, as I am entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.

Either a fault is replicated and witnessed at a store; or a technician opens up an electrical item and witnesses something our store did not see. Over a longer period of time, we might chose to replace something as a gesture of goodwill on trust. My husband and I visited Bing Lee Alexandria store on Thursday (23 February 2017) to purchase a washing machine as ours just died after 12 years. The salesgirl, whom my husband bought the machine from over the phone on Friday, and paid, so he thought, forgot to put the order through!! How is that possible. As you can imagine we weren't too happy. They did not offer us any apology or compensation until we asked. We were told that they will put the order through today and it will be delivered on Monday. Obviously we told them absolutely no we don't want to purchase from them and not to put the order through. Approx. after 10min from hanging up we received a call saying that they would cancel the delivery fee and that we could have the display model with no discount. WHAT!! Are you kidding me, you're expecting us to take the display model (second hand as far as I'm concerned with no discount). Bing Lee Alexandria are totally in the wrong here and could not make this right with us, such poor poor service. We told them to forget it. We then went to Harvey Norman at Alexandria, bought a brand new washing machine, delivered and installed the same day. My brand new machine has been installed and I'm very happy. Now that is customer service. I suggest Bing Lee that you re-train your staff and ensure them that when mistakes are made at YOUR END that you bend over backwards for the customer to rectify your ERROR. Chatswood binglee customer services is horrible
We wanted to buy Panosonic bread maker and we wanted to look at the display so we can see how the actual machines looks like. Horrible service
Just been in the Bing Lee in the Penrith home maker centre. Stood in the microwave section for 20 minutes waiting for service. We were the only customers in the store at the time and the staff avoided our eye contact and talked amongst themselves. Very rude. How can a business stay open with this kind of service?

Rhodes Store lady slammed my lights on bench & wanted me to pay for a paper bag
I went to collect my EBay order last Thursday from the Rhodes store. I ordered 8 Panasonic LED globes. The Asian lady behind the front counter went to the storage drawer to collect my 8 Panasonic LED globes. In doing so she slammed the globes down on the Bench in front of me. She also wanted to charge me for a Paper Carry bag. She eventually gave me one. I asked her how you expect me to carry all these globes to the car? I did not have to even request a bag for the purchase and they were very friendly, Unlike Rhodes Store. Why would Bing Lee Rhodes keep on a staff member like this and continue to get ongoing complaints? I have also given Negative feedback through EBay for Bing Lee Rhodes.
