Hopeless
Thought I was buying best of breed according to Bissel marketing. Within 2 months handle broke at pivot joint. JB-HiFi opened a new box and gave me just the new handle. Apparently that's how Bissel's warranty works. Then latch to release brush broke. Just after warranty was up, battery failed. No replacement battery supplied by Bissel. They make it such the the irreplaceable battery will only last just up to the warranty. Vacuum went into bin. Don't buy a Bissel.
Purchased in September 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $350.00.

Battery doesn't last long - and you can't replace
We only used our Bissel Bolt for tiles. We have now gone through two Bissel Bolts. The first one, the battery died just before warranty was up. They did replace it however said the replacement's warranty would only be honoured for the time left on the warranty from the first one. We only had 3 months left.
After about 15 months, the second bolt also suffered the same fate.
The machine would vacuum for about 20 secs and then turn off.
Not worth the money, especially with cheaper ones on the market.

Will never buy another Bissell product
This our 2nd Bolt in 4 years. Same problem as other users, it only works for about 20 seconds and then stops. The charging indicator shows "FULL" but obviously the battery is faulty. Why are there so many persons with problems with this item. The Bissell steam Mop is great. Have also tried to but a replacement battery pack - impossible. Goodbye Bissell KD

cant live without it
I love this machine, I use it daily, very easy to empty and clean plus does a wonderful job, would not hesitate to buy another, my mother in law has now purchased one and has my sister in law and several of their friends . Very tempted to buy another just in case they stop selling them

Battery died in 3 months
Has this product for 3 months. Battery is charged but it work work. Flashing light and turns off within 5 seconds. I didn't expect much but I did expect more then 3 months use out of this. Never buying this brand again. I do however like the light weight and it's perfect for a small apartment.

Good Idea Weak Battery
We got this to do the kitchen and floorboards for crumbs instead of bringing out the big vac. It's light and maneuverable and works well but just not for long enough! The battery just doesn't go for more than 5 minutes even off a full charge. I can see that I am not the only one so I guess this is a design problem. Its a pity because its a good idea. Taking points off due to battery

Poor Battery Life
The first battery failed after 9 months; wouldn’t hold a charge. The replacement has failed after 15 months. I'm not even going to spend the energy to try to get it replaced again. Very disappointed. It’s an otherwise good product; it got the light vacuuming job done. Light and easy to use.

Will not charge, 2nd one as well as 1st.
First went within the 12 month period, wouldn't hold charge. Had a replacement sent and the same thing happened.
Biggest waste of money ever.
Warranty was not covered for the 2nd as it continued from date of purchase of the 1st.
Never buy from them again.
Shocking customer service.
Bulk manufactured crap.

just like everyone else here...
Just like everybody else here, my vacuum died after barely any usage at all. Im thinking of lodging a complaint with consumer affairs Victoria, see if I can get it refunded under the ACL.
To be honest, even before the vacuum stopped charging and died, i still thought it was pretty terrible. It's unwieldy and has a tiny storage so i found myself emptying it like 3-4 times a vac.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BROKEN PRODUCT

Good Battery Life and Cleans Well
This is my second Bissell Bolt in 2years, the first one was great, but, in the end, the wheel kept coming off, so it was replaced with a new one. This one is also very good, excellent battery life, lasts for about 45 mins doing tiles and carpet, sucks and cleans well, overall I an happy with this product.

Not worth the effort.
Very difficult to re-attach hand held part to the main stick after emptying it. Roller clogs and stops working. Doesn't pick up kitty litter/small rocks. Battery died and had to be replaced within 15mths. Was told I shouldn't have kept it on the Charging Stand which Lithium-ion is designed for.

Fantastic machine.
I hated vacuuming before. Now it is no longer a chore. What a great machine. Charges fully in only 4 hours. Great suction, easy to maneuver and has everything I need. Love the little brushes out the side to clean right up to the edge. Rollers on or off, adjustable suction. The stick will collapse down so that you can go under furniture. Also you don't have to hold down the button to keep the machine running like on some other brands. Can't fault it.

what is battery life like barely got 2 years from dyson c35 Is 1312F much improved on 1311F as far as things breaking concerned
1 answer
The battery life has shortened a little after 18 months but still only need to charge it weekly. Can't help you with your second question I've only had the one model, and nothing's broken yet (touch wood).
