Keeps Stopping to Sensor Clean

published

Right from first use the Sensor Clean function keeps turning on after a couple of minutes. Tried clearing, cleanin filters etc. No change. And so it goes... Vaccum. Stop. Turn off and on. Repeat 50 times. Sent in for repairs nearly 2 months ago. Still waiting....

Purchased in May 2021 at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Appliances for $450.00.

Terrible product

published

This vacuum cleaner was a replacement of a previous bagless Bosch vacuum which was brilliant. It is supposed to be heavy duty and comes with a large vacuum hose, however this wore out and had holes in it within a couple of weeks just from normal wear. The suction of the vacuum is also effected by the large hose. It doesn't work well even on most powerful setting. It is also noisy for a silent vacuum. I prefer my older model which had room for appliances (the extra heads and nozzles) in the machine and a smaller hose. The cord also winds up when I'm vacuuming which is very annoying. It comes with a self cleaning function which is also annoying as it constantly turns itself off. I can't wait for it to die so I can buy a new one.

Weak suction power after 6 months usage

published

Mine vacumm Bosch Relaxx'x Prosilence 68 was working very well for 6 months then all of a sudden, it lost suction power.
Say, it was able to pick up a golf ball now it suck 8o% less power.
When open the lid and turn it on, I found the motor is still sucking well, it only loss power at the end of the pipe.
Anyone can help?
Never buy this brand again. Cost a fortune and not working properly is what I can say.

Nice and quite

published

Like the name says it is very quite. When you compare next to a dyson, you can barely hear it. Downside is for a big home it is not easy dragging the vaccume machine around. Turbo head wasnt available for this model. Would be good to have a compatible one.

Bosch Vacuum cleaner

published

With two dogs that shed, shed and then shed some more my house is constantly covered in short dog hairs. This bosch vacuum cleaner picks up everything on any surface. It has a plethora of attachments, it has a number of settings and actually, looks quite futuristic. It's very good at scaring the dogs, so I know it's got great vacuum suction. One criticism is that the bags are not reusable. Non-reusable bags means you're spending about 25$ on a couple of bags every so often. Other than that it's a great vacuum. The four year replacement warranty is a must also.

The best yet

published

The dialup suction is great for different surfaces, carpets, tiles and small mats. The machine is so quiet the only sound is the hissing of air being sucked into the adjustable head. The hose is rather large and inflexible, a little difficult to use in small areas and tight corners.
To empty the dust receptacle is fast, simple and easy, only takes a couple of minutes.
A great vacuum, wish we'd had it sooner.

Great suction for about 1 minute then it goes into self cleaning mode. Takes forever to vacuum a flo

published

Carpet and vinyl floors. The stupid auto cleaner sensor keeps cutting every minute so you have to stop till it's finished this self cleaning process. Such a time wasting vacuum as it takes so long to clean a floor. A $50 Kmart vacuum is better than this bosh vacuum. Very disappointing from bosh, I used to buy all bosh appliances before but now I need to check as Bosh has lost creditably with me.

Very quiet and powerful suction

published

Impressive suction on carpets. Easy to empty. Good rewind of flex. Performance on hard floors was good. I liked the ability to vary the degree of suction. Lives up to its promise of being quiet. I use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum all the fitted carpets in living room hall and three bedrooms. Tiled floors in both bathrooms are well cleaned by the vacuum.

PERFECT - Highly recommend

published

Perfect, so quiet, I can vacuum around the sleeping pets. Can adjust the suction power as well. BEST EVER. Better than Dyson could ever be. Give it a go, you will not regret it. Wish I had done it years ago instead of all the cheaper vacuum cleaners that stop within a year.

Do not waste your Money

published

Hi Guys, since we have had a baby. My partner and I purchased the Bosch vacuum as per sales reps commendation from Harvey norman. Please don't be fooled by the large canister on the vacuum as the Max line is only a fraction. upon opening the vacuum the dust particles fly everywhere and you have to re vacuum just to clean up the machines emptying process. HEPA filter on this is the biggest under statement as after a few uses could literally smell the dust not the mention the dust particles that fly in the air. Please don't waste your money do your research. I will be on Gumtree next week

Better than my Dyson !

published

After having a Dyson vacuum that blew 3 motors in 9 years wanted to steer clear and try something different. So far very happy with my Bosch, very quiet (whole neighborhood used to know when I vacuumed with my Dyson ), glides easily over tiles, great suction and relatively easy to clean but downside it is a bit heavy and cord retracts itself sometimes but overall extremely satisfied and hopefully will give me less stress than my Dyson did.

Very happy two years on

published

We've had this machine for nearly two years now. It replaced a Dyson that suddenly died. We have been very happy with almost everything. It is amazingly quiet apart from the rattly self-cleaning function. But you only have to use that feature occasionally. It is not light, so take that into account if you need to take it up and down stairs. It is not always easy to manoeuvre around fiddly spaces. The cord retractor sometimes has a mind of its own. Emptying is best done outside. But all in all, I'd recommend it.

Very happy but cord too short

published

This machine is great for suction and very quiet
The one thing I thought I wouldnt need to check is the cord length-wish I did....>>>its very short or retracts too easy :(
My house is mostly wooden floors and a large area, 3 children who make alot of mess constantly, so I can be using the vac twice a day
Maybe Bosch can send me a extension cord to have permantly plugged in

Terrible

published

I have tried to preserve with the pain this vac causes and it is just impossible. Bosch refuse to help as "there isn't anything wrong with the machine". I am in so much pain using this thing that the thought of doing this chore has become monumental. I will have to purchase a cordless just for the every day stuff as I cannot use the bosch daily. I will be keeping track of how this vac is physically effecting me as bosch has made it quite clear they don't care. Please think twice before you buy this very expensive vac you can do better.

Not happy

published

Silent vacuum cleaner but that's it. Hose is too thick, the retracting power lead is a pain and it can not be used on carpet. You have to really drag vacuum over carpet as the wheels are too small and cannot roll, even on a tiled floor it is not the best. We have only used it twice and that is it for that vacuum it is on gumtree now for $450 we paid $633 from Harvey Normans, what a waste of money. I feel so rip off.
Disappointed with this purchase as I really love the upright zoo portable vacuum stick cleaner.
Thanks Bosch.
