CHEAPEST IS NOT NECESSARILY THE BEST

published

I had one of these but fortunately an arsonist burnt the house down and the aircooler went with it. If you are thinking of buying one of these, the "batts" are extremely expensive compared with "aspen" filters. They have a pump that they only supply. My daughter has one and just got a quote of about $2,000 to do what is virtually maintenance.
I also have another cooler (possibly a Sealy) brand and when the motors blow up (regularly) only their motors will fit and "dear as poison". A bit like Henry Ford, they could give you the aircooler and make all their money from high priced parts.

Breezair Very unreliable and expensive repairs

published

We had our Breezair EZH215 installed in late 2006. I decided on Breezair after researching brands and it came up as the best.
Since we've had it it has had a motor, control box and a pump requiring replacement. Its now in need of another control box. In a 10 year period the parts and repair costs have totaled just under $3000.I also will have to replace the pads shortly at around $600. The system was over $5000 installed. While they may have cheaper running costs the excessive repair costs far outweigh that. I would not recommend a Breezair.
