CHEAPEST IS NOT NECESSARILY THE BEST
I had one of these but fortunately an arsonist burnt the house down and the aircooler went with it. If you are thinking of buying one of these, the "batts" are extremely expensive compared with "aspen" filters. They have a pump that they only supply. My daughter has one and just got a quote of about $2,000 to do what is virtually maintenance.
I also have another cooler (possibly a Sealy) brand and when the motors blow up (regularly) only their motors will fit and "dear as poison". A bit like Henry Ford, they could give you the aircooler and make all their money from high priced parts.

Breezair Very unreliable and expensive repairs
We had our Breezair EZH215 installed in late 2006. I decided on Breezair after researching brands and it came up as the best.
Since we've had it it has had a motor, control box and a pump requiring replacement. Its now in need of another control box. In a 10 year period the parts and repair costs have totaled just under $3000.I also will have to replace the pads shortly at around $600. The system was over $5000 installed. While they may have cheaper running costs the excessive repair costs far outweigh that. I would not recommend a Breezair.

Beware Died After 6.5 Years
Purchased the largest cooler for our tiny house in 2009, as we were planning to extend in future. As a result the cooler only ever worked at less than 50% capacity (it had an easy life). This was to be the first year the cooler was to work at anywhere near full capacity as our reno's are near completion. Turned it on on grand final day. No fan working. Had an independent service technician inspect the following week and diagnosed with a burnt out motor and failed electric control board. Technician said it would be better to replace the unit. hat the fruit!??) The unit was out of the 5 year warranty period, but only 6.5 years old. Spoke to Consumer Affairs Vic regarding statutory warranty. Sent email to Breezair (Seeley International) stating that the product was not of 'merchantable quality.' They claim 'unsurpassed reliability' and low running costs, which I assume don't factor in a full replacement every 6.5 years!!! Quoted by Breezair Vic service manager $1650 fix by Breezair service agent. Parts come with a 12 month warranty only. Can replace with a Brivis with more kW for $1720 that comes with a 5 year warranty. It's a no brainer. Breezair (Seeley Int.) were not interested in what my technician diagnosed. Said I would have to pay for one of their technicians to come and have a look at it, to ensure that was the exact problem (more $$$$!). Long story short. Would never purchase another Breezair or associated product! Product should last 15 to 20 years. Terrible customer service. Super expensive spare parts.Similar opinion?
