Budget Direct premium was 50% less than the insurance company I was previously with for over 10 years. They couldn’t get close to Budget Direct. I could have saved over $5K in those 20 years.

Haven't had to use the policy so I can only rate the purchase process, which was good. Simple process to follow and had good feedback of information at the end of the process.

After reading the policy there were a few things that we needed clarification on. Which they were able to answer and help us understand more clearly they were extremely courteous at all times.

The pricing is 20% higher than CommInsure even though CommInsure has a superior cover. The quote was taken online and I would never recommend them for landlord Insurance as it is not worth it.

Existing insurance with another company went up by twenty percent in one year and Budget Direct was very competitive and easy to arrange. Consultant was very thorough and knowledgeable and made it easy.

After stating they wouldn't honour the claim for water damage to kitchen cupboards they did a back flip to pay for whole kitchen, benchers and flooring when challenged. This is apparently common to their business.

I don't know I didn't get a policy sent to me so I don't know what I'm covered for I didn't have any trouble on the phone setting it up.i need more information please
