Excellent range
Every time I visit my local bunnings (And adjacently most local) their range which admittedly wasn't too flash upon opening just gets better and better. Staff want to be there and give good service and really go above and beyond rather than just leaving you to walk around like in a lot of other hardware shops. Car parks are always packed so its normally faster to park on the street and just walk it in.

Online orders - poor communication
Bunnings is one of my favourite places to shop, particularly the newish one at Edwardstown. However my first online order did not go well because of poor communication. There was the usual email acknowledging my order, then nothing. There was nothing on the website about progress and still isn't and no email. it's not their responsibility to keep me informed, particularly as there is no tracking. OK Bunnings, this is what you need to do. 1. If there are delays, say due to a flood of orders or shortage of stock, let buyers know. 2. When you send an order, let buyers know. 3. Poor customer service and unacceptable attitude
I am unhappy with the current quality of a services at Nunawading Bunnings store.
I went to Bunnings in Nunawading on 7 April, afternoon, bought some items including two type of timbers. One labelled with size and price and other only with fix price. At the cutting wood service, I asked the timber be cut in a smaller size. The gentlemen who cut the wood stated that I no need an invoice for price of the wood.

Great Job Bunnings Harrisdale! Round of applause.
Husband and I went to Bunnings harrisdale on weekend for some paint for the living room. For a busy day the lady at the paint desk was happy to help out. Great how they now have four people in an aisle, much safer! Decided to buy some more seedlings as well but to my dismay they had sold out, opted for seeds instead which they had luckily just got in and had lovely conversation with employees! A young girl helped me find insect netting and was so helpful and happy during these times. store had a nice clean layout and the staff made me feel more than welcome. Will definitely come back next time. Good job Bunnings harrisdale!

Home Delivery needs vast improvement
My daughter has spent over $150,000 at Bunnings stores over the past 5 years to renovate 2 houses. Most items have been picked up at the store, but some items are too big to safely transport, so she pays for home delivery. Three years ago she had some long lengths of cornice and 20 x 4 metre sheets of gyprock delivered, but the driver only parked in the street and wanted to offload everything in the driveway. delivered, and lo behold, it was the same driver. He again refused to back up into the driveway and after more insistence from daughter, she helped him carry the sheets up to the house. THEY WEIGH 60 KGS EACH! I realise that there may be a policy of not backing into customers driveways, but if they load the material on with a forklift, they should OFFLOAD it with a forklift and not just dump it in the drive, blocking everyone elses access. Plus when you pay $90 to have goods delivered, you'd think they would deliver it to or near your door, not on the roadside.2 comments

Estilo range - bathroom vanities
March 2020. I purchased 2 vanity units 900 & 750mm from the Estilo Range - Ceramic tops. I was told a little more expensive but better quality. So I went for quality. Unfortunately the ceramic top and the carcass is askew on both units! The plumber has spent considerable time trying to fix/level the issue to make it a functioning vanity! He’s reported that he can’t get vanity top level and the taps leak. Now it will cost me more $$ while the plumber tries a work around. And Plumbers aren’t cheap.

Why are people bashing Bunnings?
Looks like people are really bored if all they gave to do is bash Bunnings. Almost all of the bad press here relates to individual employees. Sure they can give them training, but people will be people, and lets face it, Australians are inherently rude and belligerent - its in our DNA! Name one other store that will still give a return to customers who, for example, abuse a product until it breaks, or just use something for a one off job then take it back and lie about the circumstances. Get over it people!

Montgomery 1800 Floating shelf
Metal wall bracket that inserts into the timber was twisted and the 3 posts way out of alignment I had to clamp it on a solid bench and lever the metal until plate was untwisted and the posts in align, even then when refitted back into the shelf the alignment was out 4 mm from end to end and no way of fixing it due to the hole inserts not being spot on, hence the bracket had to be fitted offset ( not horizontal / level to make the shelf level when it was fitted the white painted finish on the timber is a very poor finish and easily scuffed. there were more opposition open I’d have got another better one and the fact that I’m a tradey I could fix it all, all except the panel finish that will probably end up getting painted later a thing that should’ve been right first time. Rude mongrels hide behind there job
Rude mongrels hide behind there job when accusing someone of being a thief, I have spent hundreds of dollars at the store and always show my bag and am not a thief yet some scumbag security guard takes a dislike to you and next thing I'm being called a thief and being told to leave the store For no reason. A couple of the ladies who work there are nice and but in general not a good store.

Bunnings Have Stolen My Last $300 from my account
Went online spent last of my money to try and keep my business going and do one last job.
I want to avoid COVID-19 as my wife is high risk and dont want to go into a store.
The website froze.
Still took money from my account.
Tried to log in and my account was activated and there is no record of me or my transaction.
I have no money now and cant do my last job before shutdown.
What do i do now??
Why would a company like bunnings in a rush for online sales ruin my business.

Customer centricity still central in this pandemic.
I went in the store today to buy lightbulbs. The whole experience that the staff in the Artarmon store in NSW created to keep people safe from the current pandemic was extraordinary. But the most amazing thing was it was done with such professionalism, kindness, humour and appreciation. I must admit that I really didn’t want to go, as other retail outlets make the whole purchasing process so hard and unfriendly, but I had to as I had no spare lightbulbs. The staff in this store set a high example of how this crisis can be made to be manageable and still customer centric. Thank you so much Bunnings Artarmon.

Chilli seeds $.60 per seed!
Well that really takes the cake, bought a packet of chilli seeds from Bunnings $4.90 open them up there were eight seeds in the pack!
Cost $4.90 - chilli seeds - 8 of them! Bunnings right. How can they rip consumers off like this?
I think they just fail to carefully select the right products to sell. It's like the old WA Salvage but triple the price. This is what a monopoly does.

Again and again we go to Bunnings and its service gets worse and worse and the staff increasingly belligerent and rude.
Today I ventured out to Bunnings to buy some screws. Holding my four year old son's hand at the checkout I was approached by a Bunnings staff member - face red and puffy, aggressive and angry who berated me and loudly ordered me to not hold my little boy's hand or it would be a $1000 fine due to the Coronavirus "social distance" rules.

Bunnings - beware the unwary.
Bunnings boast a lower-price guarantee and will beat any competitors price by 10%. The proviso is that the item must be identical to what Bunnings carry as a stock item. This is misleading and farcical as most of the items / brands Bunnings stocks is exclusive to Bunnings. In effect, Bunnings are offering nothing as rarely, if ever, do they have to price match.
Bunnings also gloat on most main-stream media platforms of easy returns, no hassle, no fuss. They will even accept returns without a receipt. One might question the merits in this insta...Read more

Excellent service with online order
Bunnings replaced a product I had ordered (wrong colour) within 2 days. They responded within hours to my critical review. Then delivered new item and collected original the day after I initially spoke to them. Excellent service.

Don't order online from Bunnings
Don't get caught ordering online from Bunnings, I ordered click and next day collect from website which said item was in stock but then after receiving no confirmation email called the Bunnings store to be told items were out of stock and would be on back order or I had to cancel order. Just a waste of time.

Why is it that I am no longer able to see reviews that have been posted on products on your website.
I have been looking for a couple of products and before purchase I have wanted ti see what customers have thought of them. One product I have looked at for example, is a Ryobi Air Compressor that has 6 customer reviews. When I look at the product there is no where to see feedback. This is not the only product that this is occurring with, but, all of your range where feedback has been left.
