Smooth transaction
I took out a car loan with 14% interest. The loan period was 60 months. Never missed a payment, on the last year i paid out early by contacting them for a deal..every thing was smooth without any problem...i was kind of worried before as i read the review about them in here which was not good..but when it comes to loans, it needed to be make sure that read and understand the terms and conditions about service fees and other charges.
Their interest rate on my loan was higher than the credit card i have. But there is nothing to complain..all go...Read more

Car repossessed with no chance to please explain or get personal belongings
I am a small business owner with 4 young kids working 2 jobs to be able to stay afloat.
Yesterday my elderly parents received a knocking at there front door by a woman who claims she was working for capital finance.
I was not home so she left her card and I rang her back she seemed nice just checking my details and wanting to see if o still had the vehicle I gladly obliged.
I told her where my business was and my car was there I received no prior warning emails or anything when I closed my business and was going to get in my car to go to my ...Read more

7 business days to settle after receiving payout figure and that's not the end
I paid regularly by direct debit and never delayed a payment for the last 3 years for my car loan. I enquired about the payout figure and paid them in full. Capital Finance confirmed they have received the payment but will issue a letter of no interest in the vehicle after 7 business days. Why 7 business days and not immediately? 'It is standard procedure' - no further explanation. Once the 7 business days were over, I was in arrears for $24 because at the end of 7 business days there is interest for those 9 days (7 business days + weekend). Small amount but their practices are unethical at best. Never again.

Don't go with Capital Finance!
Not happy at all with capital finance! I spoke to one customer service rep who told me there would be no fee if I paid out my loan early. Paid it out, only to be continually charged each fortnight. Called back, got another rep who told me I would be refunded the $400 I was over charged. It didn't turn up so called again and was told I was charged $390 for an early termination on my contract and am now owed $10. What a joke!! And the last guy was so rude.

BEWARE OF CAPITAL FINANCE!!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I can thankfully say, its been 4yrs with this arrogant lot. My partner gave me authorisation to take over after 1yr and a half with them, he found they were not listening to his concerns, since I have handled our dilema with them, I have been frequent in our payments and now we are way ahead, I am not authorised to find out how much we are ahead...unbelievable! thank goodness we are nearing the end of our car payment, I can finally stick the middle finger to them and never deal with them ever again.

Ignorant customer service.
Phoning customer service is worse than dealing with Telstra. They are rude & ignorant, will not listen to a word you say. They appear to be trained to stonewall customers and be as unhelpful as they possibly can. They could be ex Telstra employees? I would give 0 stars if it were possible, avoid this company if you can.
I may go and ring Telstra now to cheer myself up.

Never Had An Issue
Never had an issue with them. Have left me alone as i make my payments. Let me pay out my car loan early with no issue. Let me get a personal loan while i had the car loan. And let me refinance for a larger personal loan amount with no fuss.
Conclusion:
Pay your repayments, and you'll never have an issue with Capital Finance

Nothing but trouble.
We have had nothing but trouble with Capital Finance. Lots of fees, poor customer service and a dispute resolution department that doesn't return calls.
Expect to be cold transferred to Collection House even when you account is current and up to date, simply because the representative doesn't feel like dealing with your account inquiry.

Very bad customer service and disgusting way of ripping people
Got car in monthly payments plan but when I was in financial hardship they just don't care and just take more fees. Worst thing ever happened to me. They just look after their money not service.

Wouldn't recommend anyone getting a loan through Capital.
Hubby and I are going through hardship and have recently been approved 3 months, of not having to pay our monthly premium, through Capital. They have taken car payment today and I am distraught. On so many occasions, we have been promised that agreements have been put in place, only for them to fail us every time.
This isn't the only time we've had drama with them. Their customer service skills are appalling and extremely under trained.
Anyone's circumstances can change for the worst, and trust me, you don't want to be dealing with this company when you are. They are heartless to our current situation and haven't done anything to help!

DON"T USE CAPITAL FINANCE!!!!
After being in good standing for 5 years, I asked if I could pay out the balance 3 months early, their reply.... Sorry, but that will be a $6251.71 penalty!!!!
Wow!
Not only that, the customer service officer actually treated me very condescendingly and seemed to get pleasure from telling me that there was nothing he could do about the penalty and that he was the superior officer.
Seriously, I would highly recommend using ALPHERA or similar to anyone looking to finance a vehicle, and check about early payment penalties.

Worst company I've ever dealt with!
Capital finance is the worst company i have ever dealt with. When you call and let them know u will be late on payment they still keep harassing you and give u bad ratings even tho you have contacted them. And somehow after having a loan with them for a long time your payments gets dearer and finally when u go to apply for a new car loan they tell the new financer you have a terrible account with them even tho u are up to date and always told them when u needed an extension.... they are a huge rip off and makeup that u don't pay them so they ca...Read more

If I could give them 0, I would
Capital Finance has the absolute worst customer service, if you can even call it that. It's not even just the customer service, it seems to be their internal practice to intentionally fail to write notes from phone calls so that you are given conflicting information each time you call in.
You can make a phone call to discuss changing from bi-weekly payments to monthly payments, and have a pleasant phone call with this particular employee, arrange payment dates and amounts for the crossover (since their accounting goes by a monthly system), ...Read more
and have everything in order and settled and clear. Then you can get sent letter after letter saying your account is in arrears even though you've been following the payments. When you call to check on your account, because you're not actually in arrears, whoever answer the call this time says there is no record of any previous conversation, and they give you different information. Then you set everything up again with this new employee. And then everything starts all over again. I have been called a liar a number of times, even if I can provide names of employees and dates and times of calls. I had the loan for 3 years, any call to Capital Finance was extremely frustrating and quite stressful. Surprisingly enough when I called to get the payout figure for getting out 2 years early and selling the car, it was quite simple and straight forward, the timeline of the payout and getting the car released was actually followed and cleared within five days of payment. I do wish that was the last experience I had with them, however, just in the last week after discovering an additional payment had been paid to my loan three weeks after I paid it out, getting it back is proving to be the hardest experience of them all (doesn't it figure!). Called in three times just today, talked to three different people, they all said different things. I asked them to refer back to calls, actually listen to them and call me back. "We're sorry they gave you the wrong information", then proceeded to give me the 'right' information, which also turned out to be the wrong information. Now I have had to lodge a dispute from within my own bank. If you can believe it, one of the things I was told to do was to contact their bank (NAB, when they're a Westpac company, and my payment came from Citibank) and check to see myself if my funds had been sent back as they had requested through email! One of their customer service agents actually told me that I needed to follow up with NAB using the General Enquiry phone number to see if the email Capital Finance had sent through to them requesting that my payment be reversed had been received and actioned! Absolutely disgraceful, but misinformation and lack of note-keeping on accounts seems to be a customer service policy at Capital Finance. You'll be ok if you make over-payments every month and never stop paying them, and don't have to speak to anyone at Capital Finance, ever. If you can't meet any of the aforementioned conditions, go elsewhere. So far they've already got more from me than they deserve, will certainly never get a cent more. Would not recommend to anyone under any circumstance.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Car Loan Interest
Paying a monthly irregular amount of interest over a 4 year period. Car loan was $40,469.69, but I have calculated that the interest I have paid so far is $18,530.91. On a car loan. Not even being paid towards my car ownership. Incredible. Do not recommend Capital Finance AT ALL.

Do Not Get A Loan With Them!
WORST company ever! In April they took $1000 out of my account, when I'm only meant to pay $375 a month. I called them very confused. Informed me it was their mistake and they will freeze the account payments for 2 months. Which I was still not happy with but thought at least the next few months are paid for and I'll still have a little bit left over with them aswel. I also decided to organise a BPAY with them so they didn't do it again.
Didn't think much of it - paid July and August through BPay. In the middle of August I got a text message...Read more
asking to contact them regarding my finance with capital finance. It was a REPO guy! Saying I'm behind by 4 months! I didn't receive anything in the mail. I had 1 week to come up wth $1995. Which I didn't have! My friend gave me a loan. Thankfully. I tried calling capital finance they wouldn't speak to me - they put me into the REPO guy and I had receipts that I've paid and proof they took they took $1000 out. He said they want the money now and then they'll look into it. I paid him I called capital finance when it was finalised and the person said I was up to date and then I was on hold for ages because they didn't know why my file got put to the repo person because I was ahead $1000!!!! I confirmed that $375 would be deducted from my account as I refused to do BPay again. I checked my bank account and $918 was taken out of my account! They wouldn't refund me but they said the could freeze next months payment. This is how this mess started to begin with!! The amount of tears and financial stress this company has given me is ridiculous. Do not go with capital finance save yourself the stress!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Customer service is non existing.. you call and you get contradicting information every time. There was a time when one payment got dishonoured and no one bothered to call me to let me know and they decided to get a third party collecting agency that I never dealt with before to chase me up for the payment.. maybe you should speak to me first.. hello!!!
You have to call about 20 times to get one thing sorted and you have to explain the same thing again and again as obviously they have no communication internally and have no record of whatsoeve...Read more

Harrassing!
Going through a rough patch, behind by 1 payment. 43 calls in 2 weeks & 10 texts even though I have been constantly paying smaller amounts to catch up. According to their letter they sent to me I have 35 days to catch up which I will do easily (still have 14 days left of the 35) but they continue with the calls got 7 calls yesterday alone!!! It's called harassment. Took one of the calls yesterday they had the incorrect amount owing, payments received then told I was a liar (just as well I have the receipts) and spoken to like I was idiot. This person was so rude and abrupt.
