Extremely disappointing
I am sitting here waiting for your company to pick up our goods to be delivered to a customer who has taken the day off to take delivery of his goods.
But trying to get a courier here to pick it up is almost impossible. I organised yesterday times for it to be picked up I even rang them this morning just to make sure they understood the importance of time. But alas.....dealing with couriers isn't easy.
I have spoken to three staff this morning and none of them know what is going on !!
They keep telling me he is on his way yet you all have...
Still waiting
Expecting a delivery Tuesday and told they would phone at least 30 mins prior to delivery, this did not happen. I rang late Tuesday afternoon was told they tried calling several times and I didn't answer, not true no missed calls recorded. Wednesday morning called again and told would be delivered between 8am to 1pm, no delivery by late afternoon and was told same thing that they called several times. It is now Thursday and called again this morning and told delivery between 8 and 1 and they were calling me back within the hour to confirm, still waiting, USELESS COMPANY.

They informed me which company would be doing delivery.
On day of delivery got text saying delivery will be done today and listed instructions I had given them. 1hr later item was delivered and again I was sent text informing me that they followed instructions and locked garage as I asked.
My driver was called Jack. Very happy with service. AAA+ Thank you guys
Haven't had a problem.
We are a Brisbane Qld company and use Capital for everything from couriers to crane trucks. Staff & drivers are pleasant to deal with and contact me about arrival times for VIP bookings. Have recommended them to several other businesses.

poor performance
poor performance poor attitude. I booked a job in the morning it was picked up until 3pm and delivered the next day. Also watch for sneaky drivers trying to upgrade and put on waiting time. They are supposed to ring to query it but dont.
Bad Delivery Service By Capital Transport
If you think why your goods are late or don't get delivered on time by using Capital Transport its cause: the guys in the office don't give the jobs out straight away till it is in the afternoon for example: Customer has placed an order for pick up at 7 am that order will be picked up by the afternoon and with numerous phone calls to capital to ask when will it be picked up the driver get the job at around 12:30 to 2 pm. I will not recommend anyone to use this CAPITAL TRANSPORT, the worst company to deal with.
terrible service
was told that my mattress would be delivered between the hours of 12 and 6:00pm on the Saturday. Waited all day and was rung at 5.30 pm and told that the driver had had a bingle and could not deliver that night. Was asked what time would suit on the following day (Sunday) and that he definitely would deliver at that time. It is now 4.50 pm and he is still not here, I can't believe a company can run a business like this and that I can be treated like this. Absolutely shocking!!!!!! I would never never recommend them to anybody. Shocking shocking shocking!!!! I am still waiting,
Great Delivery and Follow Up
Deliveries done in a timely matter and when their is a delay we are notified and kept informed on what's happening.
Would highly recommend to other users.
Overcharges
As a business owner, I was very unhappy owner with Capital Transport. They were extremely difficult to deal with on a daily basis, often late without reason, let our customers down and did not explain their charges properly.
Be warned, they tend to overcharge on their accounts, and do not negotiate in a sensible manner there after. In the end we were forced to pay their overcharges to avoid an ugly legal dispute. It was worth it to be rid of them.

Quick delivery, polite driver.
As a receiving customer I am very happy with the delivery and politeness of the driver.
Box undamaged and quickly delivered.
The one thing they can improve is allowing customers to track items on their website.

I work for a company that supply to high clientele around Sydney. We were talked into using Capital Transport as they convinced us that their service was as good, if not better, than our previous courier company; and that their rates were significantly lower. While they were correct about their lower rates, their promise of service couldn't have been further from the truth.
Their standard Sydney metro service has a 4 hour window. On numerous occasions, they struggled to deliver in this window, on several occas...
Good service - bad customer service!
My work place likes to use Capital transport as they have fast delivery service & have good prices.
However, whenever I call up to book in freight the girls there are always rude & impatient!
If it was up to me I would use somebody with better customer service!

Terrible boss, terrible customer service and they don't deliver!
I have just had the luck to complaint to their [Name Removed] about the fact that Capital Transport has not been able to delivery my mattress for over 3 weeks because it is "too heavy". The most unfriendly conversation I have ever had and apparently [Name Removed] was talking to me like giving orders to his drivers, and has absolutely no interest in handling unhappy customer at all.

Read moreled a day for delivery last week but they never turned up! The reception women [Name Removed] told me that I need to call back at 5pm today. She got quite angry when I asked to speak to the manager. Manager [Name Removed] has suggested to deliver to my garage then I need to get removalist to bring the mattress to my bedroom, while they advertise themselves to be specialised in indoor furniture delivery. The general manager firstly absolutely denied they have the mattress with them. After checked with the warehouse, just to find it there, then blamed me giving him wrong information and they have OHSC issues preventing them delivering to my address (I live in a normal Sydney Metropolitan suburb), and I have bothered him as a "general manager" for such things. During the whole process, [Name Removed] impress me that they are dealing with a piece of troubled mattress, not the customer as a person.Unreliable! Don't use them!
Wasted a whole day waiting for them to arrive. Was initially told 8am-1pm, which then changed to 3-5pm. And finally 6-7pm. The whole time no update that there were delays. Called up (02 8832 5126) multiple times only to be sent to voicemail deliberately. Requests for driver to call me were not passed on to the driver. You have to be on their case constantly.

I have trialled these guys and they are not the best courier service around.
The costs seem to blow out and the times are not always correct. I am using them as a back up service, but as my main courier. Too many drivers that cannot communicate effectively. A lot of add on charges.

Excellent for the most part - occasionally disappointing.
My company has been using Capital for just over a year now, currently in conjunction with another courier company for certain deliveries.
Capital Call Staff are very pleasant and helpful and I can't say I've ever had any issues when needing to speak to them over the phone. The Sales representative is attentive and follows through when they promise to do something.
Most of the drivers I've had contact with are very polite and helpful when it comes to loading the job and are willing to follow additional instructions regarding deliveries.

Read moreThe reasons I have not given them 5 stars is in regards to the occasional driver and operations handling. I understand that in general, courier drivers have a very high turn-over rate. All the drivers I've seen on a regular basis are very pleasant and polite and most of them know me by name. The trouble happens when we have new drivers who either do not seem to have an adequate grasp of the english language or are unwilling to listen. I have on one occasion, had a courier who did not want to speak to me, simple because I was female and quote "didn't know what I was talking about". (Not the ethnicity you are probably thinking.) I did report the incident to Capital and I have not seen that courier again. I understand that people can not be discriminated against, nor do I wish them to be, but a sightly more stringent screening process during interviews is possibly needed regarding one's ability to communicate in the dominant language of the country and social skills. In regards to operations handling, there are times when jobs have been late by quite significant amounts, with no contact from Capital to advise that the deliveries will be late.
