Does chemist warehouse trade under ChemistW asking for testers?
3 answers
I have the same question. It's interesting how there is so many unanswered questions here
I got a text message with my name asking for testers to try products free you just have to pay for delivery. But it’s a scam to get your details.
Do not click the links in these text messages. It is a scam and not sent by Chemist Warehouse. For more information: https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/chemist-warehouse-scams

Good question Anne, I received a message from Sophie this morning saying to thank her later. I don’t even know a Sophie.
It’s a pretty good offer there, maybe to good to be true?
What did you do Anne?
I recieved the same text this morning from Sophie. I dont know a sophie either and im thinking because her text came through with her name (like a name saved in my phone), im thinking scam.
How did you both go? I got 1 today via SMS from Sophie. I don't know a Sophie.... She (whoever it is) knew where I lived (the suburb). I think that its a scam. Yeah, will thank her later for scaming us!

Are the fragrances real, why are they so cheap?
4 answers
Because they are nasty!
Due to the huge volume of stores, the company has a lot of buying power. By buying fragrances in bulk for cheaper, they are able to sell to the public for cheaper. And yes, they're real.
I have bought couple of perfume which was out of it's recommended self life time after checking for its bar code online I had to return it you can tell by the smell which doesn't last at all.

I went to download the app and it needs me to confirm my payment details to finish installing it. So when I did it it said it declined and to put a different payment option etc. but there is no where where it says that the app costs and the chemist assistant didn't tell me it was a paid app. So my question is has anyone actually paid for it or am I downloading the wrong one?
3 answers
Hi, none of these store apps should cost anything to download/install. If anything we are doing them a favour.
Personally, I find going to the online site to make purchases much easier and more user friendly. Also, it does not weigh up your memory on your tablet. Hope this helps.
It sorta does but for me to basically order my scrip I need the chemist warehouse app to do it. I'm just having trouble doing it because it needs payment details even though the app is free
No it does not ask you. You're on a scam site.

I have a 'friends of chemist warehouse' charity card, are they still current?
The purpose of this card was that 2% of your purchase was donated to charity.
I have tried to check the points balance online but nothing happens.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I purchased a vitamin at the Neutral Bay Chemist Warehouse on 21st May 2016 and I went to the Chatswood Store today 28 May 2016 within the 7 days return time frame. When I got to the store, they said they can't return it for me even though I have explained that the person is allergic to the ingredients. The product was unopened.
Could you please advise what am I do now or do I need to call the company who made the product to reimburse?
Chemist warehouse is one of the worst chemist to deal with in relation to refunds when you give customers 7 days returns time frame.
3 answers
Clearly if the product was unopened you already knew the person is allergic to the ingredients. Why didn't you check the ingredients before you bought it? It's essentially a change of mind which they are not obliged to provide a refund for. Also at the bottom of the receipt it says they don't refund or exchange on vitamins or supplements outside what is required by the consumer law. You could try contacting the manufacturer but again you might just have to wear the cost.
Go to cincotta chemist, they might ring the company for you and help organise a refund for you
I was told by the cashier when I tried to refund an item at a different Chemist Warehouse than the one I purchased it from with the original receipt that as they are individual franchisees they can refuse to refund another stores stock. The manager she checked with allowed the refund in the end but I think it is a ridiculous rationale. So the moral of the story is always return the item to the store you originally purchased it from and within their stingy 7 day returns period!
