Decorug Auburn gave quick service, excellent communication and the best part of all was the quality and perfection of the installation. Can't fault.... Gerard went above and beyond for all edges to be perfectly neat.

I have had all floors in my home covered. the bedroom ones are very good. My lounge room floor was a mess. the installers broke lumps off my skirting boards and told me I would have to fill the holes in as they didn't do that. They hadn't checked to see if the floor needed levelling. Consequently the boards were cracking when we walked on them and were dropping lower in some area. I rang decorug and they came out. Read more did was amazing, so I asked if he could come to fix my lounge room floor. Gerard arrived took the boards up levelled the floor put the boards down and fixed the skirting boards. There is no movement or cracking in the floor now. Gerard is very professional and such a lovely young man. Thumbs up to for Decorug and their quick response to my problem. Nightmare to deal with poor workmanship,no ownership, my floors are still not right 1 year since installed
I had a floating floor installed 1 year ago and after 3 repeated attempts to fix their mistakes not fixed. Project Manager [Name Removed], has made promises, the last being that Cooper would need to redo the whole floor. However when Cooper arrived he had no material with him and only did patch work. My floor still is uneven with boards lifting over others and creeks all over when you walk on them.

Over the last 2 days we have had Ryan & Nathan from HR Timber Flooring installing our hybrid flooring. What a nightmare! Dodgy payment terms, shoddy installer and no after sales support!
They don’t even deserve one star, wish I could rate zero! We have had the worst experience with DecoRug, their after sales support has been atrocious and customer service and dispute resolution from their head office management team is disgusting!
It all started well, we fell in love with a herringbone hybrid flooring they had in their Fortitude Valley showroom, it was the first thing that we picked for our new build and were so excited to see it get installed. Read moreing. After months of waiting to get to the flooring stage of the build, we contacted DecoRug to advise we were ready for the flooring install 2 weeks out as they had told us to do. Upon contact to arrange install they advised that they were too busy and the flooring could only be installed in around 5 weeks time. We had a schedule already planned around the flooring install including internal painting, skirting boards and the stone benchtops and waterfalls to be installed once the flooring was complete. Their delayed install date meant that all sorts of rescheduling and delays happened with the house build. The stone for the benchtop had to go in to finalize the kitchen install so we had the stone mason cut the waterfall end short of the slab so the flooring could slide underneath it thinking that this would solve the problem. Leading up to the install date, their contracted installer, [Name Removed] from Madero Flooring phoned and told me that they would need to do leveling of the floor at an additional cost. I asked him to come and check before the install to give me a quote so we could budget accordingly. He said he couldn’t do that as he was on the Gold Coast and was too busy. I asked how much it was going to be and he said, it could be $1500 or it could be $4000 which wasn’t at all helpful. The day before install that we had been waiting 5 weeks for, DecoRugs office phoned and said payment had to be made in full over the phone that same day otherwise they would cancel the flooring install for the following day. I thought this was baffling, paying in full before work is completed? We had already paid a $2100 deposit and assumed the balance would be paid after install like any normal business would operate. What kind of company operates like this, payment in full before any work is completed!? we aren’t talking about a $1000 job here, it was an $8000 job. We begrudgingly paid the balance as we needed the flooring in as soon as possible and couldn’t afford any more delays.- Product Quality

Decorug Liverpool had staff that were great with assisting us in purchasing hybrid flooring. The process from choosing the product to installation was smooth even though it was a small delay for completion of the stairs. Communication was great with the installers. Ryan and his team from HrTimberflooring did an amazing job. Very happy with the product and installation!

We had our entire house done with new plantation shutters and Veri Shades. 5 times Decorug had to come back to fix the Veri Shades as they installed them incorrectly.
We found paint issues with our plantation shutters which we advised with pictures in April 2021. It is now January 2022 and after 38 emails, 20 phone calls we are still no closer to resolving our shutters. Decorug has came out twice to attempt to replace but managed to bring the wring size shutters. Now we have a second set of shutters with paint issues.
Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. We spent $20,000.00 and this is how we get treated.

The 1 star is purely for the carpet installer who did the right thing by us.
We placed our order mid September at the North Lakes store and were told that everything would be done prior to our holiday 22 October. From there, we received no communication, I rang mid October and was told to contact the warehouse for a date. Then told oh we can do it early November.......... Asked if in stock, ordered 3 pieces to size, agreed delivery conditions before payment and paid in full. After that no contact from DecoRug. As I had to follow up numerous times, I found out that it was in stock but in Melbourne, not Sydney so delay in delivery. When delivered, it was in one piece, not cut as ordered and noted on delivery slip. When tried to call the store to solve the issue, I was told they will take it back, cut it and redeliver. Since that, I had to follow up again and again as they have not being returning my calls. After a few days, it become obvious that nothing will happen by the time I need it so requested return and refund which was abruptly declined.

Decorug came with up with the idea of installing plantation shutters before Christmas if orders are booked before 30/10/21. I blindly trusted this company and placed my order on 29/10/21 and paid 50%. Then Christmas arrived, just 2 days prior Christmas I called them up to see the progress of my order, they just kept on transferring calls here and there, no one took the responsibility and told me all the time someone will call me later . The store is easy to find and navigate. Chris was available to talk and work through my enquiries whenever I needed to. The installer was professional, efficient and tidy. As for the shutters, I love, love, love them, I feel like I am living in a resort looking through them from my bed at the trees and plants in my garden. The blinds in my kitchen are very funky and modern, I can't stop looking at them.

We used Decorug for changing the flooring in our apartment, which was probably the biggest mistake we made when we decided to renovate our apartment. Here's all that went wrong -
1. They gave us a price estimate, with the likelihood of an acceptable 10-15% variation; at the end of the job (which took them forever to complete) the variation was around 40% over the original quote.
2. Their communication and project management was extremely poor (downright pathetic) - they told us that our duplex apartment would take just 3-4 days to complete; i...

The tradies to whom Decorug had subcontracted the work couldn't speak English, and caused significant delays in the work. Their supervisor / Project Manager needs to take lessons in professionalism - he was impossible to reach and kept making promises they never kept. 3. Inspite of all this, we felt the work was of reasonably decent quality; we recently discovered that we were wrong about that too. There's a section of the flooring that's caving under the living room wall. We called Decorug to sort this out, and had withheld a certain portion of their final payment so as to account for such contingency. They told us to settle the payment, and they'll send someone shortly. It's been 2 weeks since we lodged our complaint, and have been following-up, but noone has shown up since. Clearly, they have no respect for their customers and their time. We have now lodged a complaint with ACCC and will be taking legal action against Decorug for a refund.- Product Quality

Apparently, the prices are going to increase next week and if my husband agrees to buy flooring from them, all he needs to do is pay $100 and he will be given a good deal. This is before the staff member even explained anything to him about hybrid flooring. For a while, my husband thought he was in a flea market and not in a professional flooring store. Needless to say, we have scrapped deco rug in our options. We could not help but wonder if we would have been treated differently if we were Caucasians like the 2 other customers we saw in Deco Rug that afternoon. Anyway, off we went to another flooring store where we were greeted with professionalism and treated with respect. We bought a rug from Deco Rug Noarlunga and was very happy with the excellent service given by Chris.
