Biggest Mistake I Ever Made
To begin with, prior to the terrible experience with my recently purchased Dell Inspiron 7570 my experiences with Dell had been positive, but all the previous Laptops worked perfectly.
However, I purchased the Unit in late May 2022 and have had nothing but intermittent problems. I simply asked Dell to replace the unit for a brand new one, yet they have continued to do everything, but offer a replacement. For example, they initially offered a refund when I actually asked for a replacement unit and I refused because I felt a replacement unit...Read more
was fair and reasonable. They then offered to repair the unit with refurbished parts (Yes refurbished parts and not brand new parts). I purchased a Brand New Laptop so said I would not accept anything but new parts (That was even a big deal for Dell's so called customer support). They then suggested they would replace the unit in various emails, but then said it was refused at a higher level. I purchased the unit at a discounted price on their website so to accept a refund means I could not afford a similar Laptop with the same specifications (I would be the Loser), which is why I feel they are not offering to replace the unit to save money, yet they were happy to sell me the product at a special price, but not look after my needs as the customer when it was a lemon. To be frank, the experience has been terrible, dragged on by Dell and I feel under goodwill and a 12 month warranty that the Laptop should have been replaced first prior to offering a refund. It is obviously cheaper for Dell to offer a refund, repairs with refurbished parts than replace a unit. Dell are great as long as things are on their terms and they obviously do not care about the customer. Very poor form Dell and a terrible product! Worst customer care I have ever experienced in my life.Purchased in May 2021 at Dell for A$1,299.00.

very nice 2 in 1 laptop
This 2 in 1 laptop (the Inspiron 7586) is very handy and easy to use, the keyboard is silent and backlit which make it easy to work within darkness also priced reasonably plus comes with Dell tech support

Do Not Buy it
I purchased it via Dell official website about a month ago. The new computer is painfully slow and it took about 30 seconds to load a graphic picture from Facebook. I called the warranty hotline 3 times over a month but nothing is fixed. First the technician asked me to run a diagnostic and said everything should be okay but it was not. Second I were told to reset everything to the factory setting. It took me about 2 half days trying to follow the instruction but nothing has been changed. I asked them where can I send the computer to fix but wa...Read more
s told my warranty is limited so they wont fix it. The new computer is slower than an ipad i bought 3 years ago. Do not buy dell, their warranty does not cover anything, and they sell a malfunction computer with design defect to begin with.Purchased in January 2021 for A$1,200.00.

Think twice before buying
Laptop less than 15 months old. Easy use at home 2-3 times per week. Screen hinge broke!!! Separated Screen and case. Sent photos to dell. Initially told they would send a tech to repair then told they would not as out of warranty. Should be covered byAus Consumer Guarantee. Think twice before buying Dell. Looking at reviews it is a fairly common problem. So bad they have even written a policy to cover not repairing hinges. Feel totally let down.

Worst laptop purchase decision I ever made
Two weeks into purchasing the computer afobe flash player is no longer working. This came free with the computer. Tried updating and redownloading, all of a sudden this computer does not support flash player. Between Adobe. Dell and Geek Squad support noone can figure out why. Zip files are not working properly. Battery life is like 1 hr. Everytime I try to use any kind of software on this computer I run into an issue. I have not had success with not one software download. Paid

Efficient, Budget Gaming Laptop
Purchased for use personally as well as at university. In terms of personal use the laptop has been great. Excellent storage, but it is difficult to choose to store data on the HDD rather than the solid state. The hardware of the laptop is self-explanatory and functions well with the exception of the track-pad which can sometimes get stuck or become unresponsive requiring a restart. In terms of portability the laptop is large and heavy, but I purchased the laptop with full awareness and this is a rather obvious drawback of buying a gaming laptop. The battery life is excellent and can survive a full day provided minimal applications are used.

Really good laptop once you install an SSD.
I have had Dells for a while now and they seem to last 2-4 years on average, which is much more than the 12 months I would get out of HP laptops.
First thing you should do is install an SSD. This makes it boot up way faster and run a lot smoother.
Battery life is about 3-4 hours with the SSD installed. It would prob be 1-2 with the normal HD.
Backlit keyboard is awesome.

Very poor laptop
On paper this seemed like a very promising laptop to buy. After a couple weeks with it I’ve came to the conclusion that this is the slowest and nastiest computer I have ever bought. Don’t waste your money on this, it’s god awfully horrendous. It takes 5 minutes to load up one web page. And the gaming on here is damn trash. It cant function at a normal frame rate and it always stutters/freezes mid game. On top of it all, it will shut down and restart when I’m playing games on it. Please do a better job with this model, I’m not buying anything from this company ever again after experiencing how damn trash this piece of trash is.

Very slow WIFi compared to LAN
This computer has all the specs and on paper should be a really great buy. I have had awful issues with the speed of wifi. I have fibreoptics with 250mbps in my home. All my other devices get the high speeds associated with this.
But the Dell computer can only achieve decent speeds if I have it connected via LAN cable direct to the router.
I had Dell change the wifi card. I have had them run diagnostics.
I had them replace the laptop with a new one!. Both laptops did exactly the same thing.
This model is a dud! Its wifi somehow conflicts w...Read more

Dead slow, takes most of the time for updating and resetting
Bought a new 15 7000 touch screen i7 8th gen(hardly 2 weeks)
Did not find user friendly, even difficult to customize- like creating simplest desktop.
Updating and resetting takes ages!!!
I am quite upset with this one- haven't installed so much apps, but it's so slow. No I am restting it and is taking almost 20 minutes.
Really regret choosing this!

Decent laptop
It is a steady go ready laptop. Convertible between laptop or tablet mode
Pro sturdy, loading is quick
Con fairly heavy
Great size if you work on lot of documents but not a laptop you would like to bring everywhere with the size.
15” is a tad too big as tablet, reckon 13” would be better.
Overall a decent laptop for work

Very durable and good processor
It has quite a good amount of storage space, it also has a good processor which is able to run relatively hefty games. Definitely durable, considering that it has been pushed off desk multiple times and no cracks or other damage. Keyboard is comfortable as well as easy to clean.

Great refresh of the inspiron line - Dell 15 7570
The Good:
- Fast processor - Intel Core i7-8550U (1.8-4 GHz)
- 8 GB RAM
- 256 GB SDD plus 1 GB HDD
- The build is excellent. All metal, it's a joy to feel and touch. Dell are obviously vying for the Macbook crowd.
- Smaller and lighter than previous inspirons.
- Good, but not perfect, 1920x1080 glossy touch screen
- Keyboard feels nice if a little cramped
The Bad: ...Read more
- Speakers, as expected, are under-powered and tinny - Challenging to open the bottom if you want to upgrade memory and/or hard disks - Apparently the video card is throttled somewhat but I only use it as a design/office/video laptop Conclusion: A solid update to the inspiron 15 range with great strides under the hood, and in the hood itself.Similar opinion? Not up to expectations
Four years ago I bought this notebook because I’d been told that Dell offered good service and would come to your home. The product itself has performed well, as you would expect from one in this price range but no better than one might expect from another brand with the same specs. Last week the keyboard began to malfunction, something never before encountered in more than 30 years of computer use and many brands. Quote to replace it is $165 which I consider excessive. And Dell’s service has been nothing special either. No question of coming to your home to do this work as I’d been promised at purchase time. Next time shall look for a cheaper brand offering the same specs.

A very good budget gaming machine
The laptop is both powerful and reasonably priced, with base model starting at $1499 and moving up to their top level at $1999.
This laptop comes with 256GB SSD and 15.6' Full HD screen and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB GDDR5 graphics memory card. Battery life is also very good.
Comes with Windows 10. Tested the game XCON on it and the laptop runs very well, with the speakers and subwoofer providing nice sounds.
It may not be the most powerful gaming laptop available but it is certainly a very well priced gaming machine.

Bought one brand new, and one refurbished. Both are lemons.
We have bought two of these and both are unusable.
With the refurbished unit there was trouble with switching the laptop on, and it had to be sent away under warranty to be serviced (with postage time that was nearly a one month wait). It came back from servicing (several parts replaced) and it still didn't work properly! A few days later it completely died. It has to be sent back for repair... again.
The second laptop, the brand new one, didn't even get through its first day without error messages (fan not working, problems with mem...Read more
ory management), and after going through diagnostics with Dell was told it will have to be sent off for repair and to have parts replaced. The whole casing seems very flimsy on both laptops, and even just gently lifting the lid up on the brand new one, the casing came away from the screen and I had to click it back together. This was on the first day. Dell are helpful on technical support and they are happy to repair under warranty. That's about the only positive I can give (that's the one star). We used to be able to buy computers knowing that our money is well spent on a reliable machine, now it seems we are lucky to get the thing to last 2 years, or should I say 2 days. Disgusting.1 comment

Good laptop
I bought the red version of this laptop with highlighted keypads, it's very slick and the laptop itself runs quickly. I bought this laptop with the intent where I don't need to replace it until a few years down the track, as of the time of writing this review this laptop runs everything I throw at it although I use it mostly for streaming.

Solid
I have had my 7000 for a little while now and it does everything I need. A bit boring looking for a gaming machine but plays well on all the newer games. Battery life isn't great but the norm for a game laptop. Overall good value and Dell were quick.
