Great dishwash, I would recommend it

Love this dishwasher

I love everything about this dishwasher... Great appearance and perfotmance. The cutlery tray is so much better and safer than a basket. No more getting stabbed with knives when reaching in,
Reviews say this machine is noisy but I've found it to be extremely quiet.
Very happy with my dishwasher.

So far, so good

Our rental agent purchased this model of dishwasher for us to replace a terrible Dishlex that was breaking and falling apart despite being only 2-3 years old. We have had it for a month now. It has taken some getting used to; as others have noted, the upper drawer is too shallow to hold most glassware, but I've found that glasses actually fit easily in the spacious lower drawer. I love the cutlery tray! Items up there get very clean and are easy to put away. In fact, the cleaning power of this dishwasher is easily 10X greater than what I'm used to from our old machine. Everything comes out squeaky clean. I set the machine to run whilst we're sleeping, and even if I wake up, I can't hear it. I hope it keeps performing like this!

Worst Dishwasher in the World

published

I have owned several dishwashers and this one is the worst one I have ever owned. The cutlery draw is a poor design, doesn't wash properly and doesn't fit most things. The glass and cup draw has stuff falling over and not washing properly, its noisy, doesn't dry any thing and washing is at it most a rinse cycle. Have taken to washing up by hand until I get a new one. I wanted to give a minus star rating, but doesn't exist. VERY POOR DELONGHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

excellent dishwasher

I have had this one for 1 week and I am very pleased with it . I went from basket cutlery container to now having a draw style, I will be truthful the habit of picking up the basket and taking it to the draw takes a bit of getting use to . Having said that I think the cutlery is much cleaner for it and its fantastic for small containers and lids, but I have kept my old basket just in-case I need it . All over I would highly recommend this product and the Option section only works on certain cycles as set out in the manual
How quiet it is and the plates sparkle
maybe supply a basket as well would be a good for versatility

I have just moved into a new house which has a Delonghi dedw645s. The dishwasher fills up with water and spills all over my floor . This is without been turned on, in fact it was before I even used it myself first. I haven’t had a dishwater before and I would love a solution to this problem
Thanks
Janet

Is it safe to connect to hot water supply?

I don't see why it wouldn't be safe ...but I don't deal with dishwashers for a living. If you're concerned, it's best to confirm with an independent party like a plumber (salesmen will tell you what you want to hear and the manufacturer will take the conservative route to avoid any liability).

Thanks for your prompt reply.
Further investigation suggests that if the temperature does not exceed 60C
hot water is, as you suggested, safe! There are other views available, but I am
happy with, safe.
Thank you.
