Dilmah Spring time Oolong with Ginger
I've started using Dilmah for over 2 years now and it had become my favorite tea brand ever since. I've always purchased the extra stong version and stick to it as I am bit hesitant to try new versions. This is mainly due the tasteless tea varieties in the market.
l recently bought the spring time oolong with ginger and fell in love with the aroma and flavor it gives from the very first sip.
If you are a strong Dilmah Tea fan like me but hesitant to try new things, I am highly recommending this. It is truly a masterpiece.

Dusty, flavourless
If i wanted tea dust that tastes as if it had been collected from the bottoms of silos, I'd have bought tea bags. This stuff floats effortlessly through and out of the wire infuser and into the general beverage to bug me at the end, because I'm a 2-pint quaffer and don't leave decorous quarter-inches undrunk in cup bottoms.
It doesn't taste like much, either. Testing Nerada next.
PS I admit I like tea with oomph over delicacy. Dusty and weak is for me a fatal dyad.
Edit- not only does the tea escape from the infuser, but through a tea strainer as well. I've taken video, for which I'll supply a link once I find suitable hosting. Really bad!

Zero flavour tea don't waste your money.
Dilmah loose tea is no where near I call it as tea. Looks like they are some random plant dry leaves. No flavour of real tea it is smells like some dry plant leaves. Never ever will buy Dilamh tea. Such a waste of money.
They spent money on fancy advertising but quality of their products is rubbish.

Average bland taste, inconvenient tea bags
The tea bags breaks when the glued-on tag is removed. The taste is rather bland compared with other competitors, I guess aligns perfectly for Woolworth's or Cole's bland fresh produces.

Tasteless rubbish
Brought a packet of Dilmah Green Tea with Ginger, followed the instructions and was rewarded with tasteless crap. Where was the lightly piquant ( spicy taste ) warmth of ginger and herbal note. I could the taste our fresh rain water, no chlorine. What a waste of money, another company selling low quality food with no care of their products other than revenue gathering.

Pertect tea
Love the Dilmah brand. Been drinking it for 25 years or more. I buy the extra strong tea bags. The flavour is amazing. I also like the leaflet inside the box, has really good info, and I also really like the packaging, the 3D embossing on the box, with the Royal purple colors. Very smart marketing to use attractive packaging but its the quality of the product that won me.

Torn tea bags
I have been buying Dilma tea bags (extra strength) for a long time. The quality of the tea has dropped and the bags are torn. I buy the tea bags for a reason and if I wanted tea dust in my tea I would buy leaf tea. They are not tea leaves and I think they use tea dust - poor quality. If this is how it's going to continue I will stop buying it and tell my family and friends also not to buy it. I plan to buy it one more time.

Dilmah new look tea bags keep tearing
Been buying Dilmah tea bags for years. The new look tea bags break as soon as I remove the tag- no matter how carefully I do so. Going to return to Coles tomorrow. Will be the last time I buy Dilmah, if they don’t fix up the tea bag tags (that are glued at one edge to the tea bag)

Why do I need to strain a teabag.
I love Dilmar T and have been using it for many years however lately I have been experiencing the same thing with the teabags tearing no matter how careful I am please fix this problem, there must be a better way Dilmar need to look after their loyal customers by producing a better bag.
Maybe we should all use looseleaf tea and just strain it as I’m straining the teabags anyway.

Fix the bag issues
The bags are terrible and keeps tearing, despite how carefully you remove the tag it keeps tearing in the pot or mug.
I’m terribly disappointed that after so many years of been a loyal sri lankan consumer I’m definitely going to change my preferences to another brand.
Your so called new bags are useless and horrible
Not happy
Instead of recommending your customers to taking care when they are removing the tags,
Please improve your so called new bags to better quality

Appalling time to change brands Mr Fernando!
We have used Dilmah brand of loose leaf tea for decades, we enjoy our morning pot of tea however the quality of Dilmah tea now is appalling, the quantity keeps changing also ( we use the same container getting less and less price keeps going up and up) definitely time to find a better tasting tea!

Questions & Answers
I have been drinking Dilmar Premium for 25 years, it used to be full of flavour, lately it tastes like average tea. Is this temporary due to shortages, bad growing season, or some other reason? I would love to know the reasons for the flavour change and whether or not I can expect any return to the "good old days" when visitors would ask me what tea I used so they could buy some. I am a hard core Tea drinker and need answers if you have any. Thank you, Warwick.
