Good buy

Love dyson stick, we hardly use the pull vacuum now. I personally love the max suction option which unfortunately doesn't last for long at all but very powerful. Would definitely recommend this it does the job.

Loving this

published

Couldn't go back to a corded vac, this makes it to easy to clean small areas in a very quick amount of time. Battery doesn't last a very long time but I knew that when buying. I love how easy it is to use for the car.

Very handy, use it daily

Excellent electric broomstick for light cleaning, tidying out car, pet fur attachment terrific! Not enough suction for thorough house clean, but extremely convenient and easy to use for quick tidy. Great on furniture. Would not live without one now!

Complete waste of money

published

Bought this to compliment our full size Dyson for in between cleans, but it is hopeless. I can only clean one room before the battery overheats and the unit shuts down. The LG seems to be better value as it comes with twin batteries.
It is a shame, because build quality is good and it is easy to charge and empty and light to carry around.
This is a nope from me, unable to recommend.

Great quality, quick recharge, versatile

Love Dyson stick vacuums. This is my second- the previous one lasted 5 years. Quick recharge, picks up everything. Also love the car kit that means my car stays spotless. Bigger bin on this model is great, along with variety of attachments.

Easy to use but doesn’t clean well

published

I really like the idea of these vacuums however it only lasted 1 year before breaking completely and it never picked up dirt very well. At the end, the part that spins, you are forever pulling it apart and cutting hair that’s twisted in it because it stops it from spinning and therefore picking up even less dirt. I won’t be purchasing one of these again.

DYSON V 7 Animal

Works well on hard floors, to get deep down dirt in the carpet you would need to use max power which has a very short run time of 10 min max. I would recommend if you have a plush or twist type carpet to get a stronger machine like the V10 or V11 as this machine just won't cut it. Is only good for quick surface cleanups in between regular vacuuming.

Its a good little Vacuum but the battery sucks!

published

Great stick vacuum and so easy to use!
Love it on carpet and timber floors!
But the battery sucks and does not last very long at all, the high max setting only lasts 6 mins which is a joke!!!
Lucky I got this on sale and didn't pay full price.

A little costly, but very effective

published

Bought this to primarily clean car as older handheld cleaner was next to useless. Discovered that it is also very good around the home, and is now the only machine we need for our 3 bedroom home. 20 minutes run time sounds short but is actually plenty, and the max mode is hardly ever needed. Super quiet too on normal mode. Only criticism is it doesn't have a replaceable battery, so longevity may be an issue. For now it is on the money.

Not worth its price

I prefer the dyson v6.. v7 head gets stuck. Motor goes on and off after 5 minutes of vacuuming. Hate the product. Very disappointed in dyson... I always used to speak highly of dyson...but not anymore!

So many "toys" on market this is a really excellent cordless stick vacuum.

published

So many"toys" on market, this is a real vacuum which is well designed, looks great and easy to use and has easy to wash filters, just rinse under cold water. We use it on our hard floors in the living, dining, drawing room and kitchen areas and we have a dog which is always shedding. Has no nonsense tools one used for the car and one for cevices.

My best friend. Used at least once a day.

published

This is my third cordless dyson and they just keep getting better.
I use this everyday in my 38sq home to pick up all the crumbs and dust and works a treat on both floorboards and carpet. It is slightly loud but that only bothers my kids and husband and not myself :)
I'm sure the newer models would be even better but I can't imagine it being worth the price difference considering I purchased this for only $350 at The Good Guys. Highly recommend.

Don't waste your hard earned money

published

Don't waste your hard earned money - poor suction -Blows exhaust into your face - goes flat very quickly and can not change battery - it has taken 7 versions to get this far no wonder Dyson has come up with more - never buy a Dyson- it is only for the rich who never use it anyway - Ian ---- yes a Man that knows atmospheric pressure is what actually pushes the dust up the dys and that the only thing that really sucks is the Dyson itself

Ros H.asked

Dyson animal v7 purchased a month ago. Is there something wrong with it or is the extremely weak suction normal? Slightly better on max power but then only lasts a few minutes. I would like a refund on this machine which won't even pick up a spider. Ros

Hi Jan my review was for the Dyson V7 Motorhead. The animal is a different model I believe, my son has the animal and yes he said it does have a HEPA filter

Dyson
Dyson Team ..Dyson

Apologies for any confusion Jan. While we don't use HEPA filters in our cord-free machines, all Dyson Cord-free machines use our patented cyclone technology to spin debris (including pet dander, dust, dirt and particles as small as cigarette smoke) out of the air.

While our machines do have filters as a precaution, our machines rely on our patented cyclone technology to provide the high level of filtration.

We hope this helps, however if we can assist with any further queries, our Dyson Experts are available via [email protected] and happy to help.

I purchased a Dyson V7 motorhead original from Aldi. There is no crevice tool. Should there be a crevice tool?

While the V7 Motorhead Origin doesn't include a crevice tool in the box, there is a crevice tool available for purchase seperately ($15 at time of writing) if required.
