Do No Use Failed Service
We booked for pick up of 6 boxes, late in the day of booking time there is no response and no reply to emails. Called Hunter Express they stated it was booked for the next day, corrupt services lying regarding pick up dates will never use again.

Only charge in blocks of $50 and miss pickups based on a photo of the front of the commercial building! Walk in we don't leave packages on the footpath! No way to call. There are much better businesses out there and I wish I had checked this site before signing up as its all true.

I lodged a parcel with e-go using the correct sizes and weight of the box. Which we had measured with a tape measure. After lodgment I received an email to say that the box was bigger the measurements we had provided. I was charged an extra $23 shipment, for a box they said was 2cm wider and 6cm higher then we had lodged.
Dimensions provided at booking: 125 x 26 x 53
Dimensions captured by our system: 125 x 28 x 59.4
An email was sent to them with pictures of the actual sizes of the box.

I have used this company previously but now would not recommend them on the chance that I get overcharged and have no option of getting a refund when I provide proof of the actual sizes of the item that was sent

Absolutely useless courier
Original contracted delivery date was between 19th & 22nd August. After long winded enquiry the "estimated" delivery is now the 24th.
Totally unacceptable when customers have deadlines to meet.
If I could rate zero stars I would.

Firstly, do not sign up for platinum membership. Once they have your credit card they use it for “sundry charges” without any authorisation.
Their drivers do not follow instructions to leave items unattended if no one home. Then they slug you for redelivery.
Their customer service is slow, they do not respond to questions.
They certainly do not adhere to promised timeframes of delivery. I have had deliveries sitting in their Melbourne Depot for over a week with no update.
Terrible, just terrible. THE definition of “cheap and nasty”.

Owned by Hunter Express (who are equally incapable of providing an acceptable level of communication or customer service with such a simple logistical arrangement) The driver was able to take a photo of the front door, which I was waiting around all day to ensure collection was as easy as possible. The E Go service is email only, which renders about as much use for its customers as a chocolate teapot. The Hunter Express CS team (who are contactable on 13 22 52) are equally as useless, and could use a lesson in common sense and manners. As of yet, The collection is still in limbo. They simply could of avoided an angry customer, multiple phone calls and emails, wasted petrol for the driver, the drivers time, my time, and the CS team's time by utilizing his great little invention called a mobile phone to contact their customers in the first instance. Until the improve upon these service levels they will always be a 1star company within their industry. I'm ashamed they have 75 of my hard earned dollars. Unfortunately worst company to use for freight, Dont reply to emails and can't get in touch with them via phone. Took 3 weeks to have the package collected. Now it's been over 3 weeks since it was collected with no ETA on when it will arrive. Extremely disappointing as the package has now missed the birthday party that it was meant for.

As of 18:15 14/07/2023 the consignment has not been picked up or any communication from the company.
The sender is moving interstate and has left the premises to catch a flight at 19:00
Disappointingly unreliable with a total lack of customer service.

EGO couriers (owned by Hunter Express) is an online business ie no telephone support, email support is only available if it is an easy question. Difficult questions will never get responded to.

Tracking details are terrible... full of false delivery notifications and a total lack of details

Has anyone else been falsely charged for packages they say were bigger or weighed more than you stated ?
No I have never been overcharged. Accurately measure the items and individually weigh to avoid any problems with any carrier.

Yes, it is happening to me more often. I always overstate the dimensions and weight by a little and they still bill me automatically for excess dimensions even though I have sent them photos of the weight and dimensions. It appears they are doing it deliberately and good luck getting a reply.

The only process they have available is to raise a problem report on their web site. I found this to be pretty ineffective in my case however you should do this if you have not already done so. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.

I cant see anywhere on the Web how to actually book a re-attempt at pickup.
With other companies I have also had pickup issues. THe general concensus with freight is that once its in the system, its pretty well right. For me the biggest problem with any freight
company is the pickup. Anyone agree? I also note that many attempts by sellers to package items is total rubbish...watch Mythbusters....just use bubble-wrap..and then..dont throw it int he bin..use it on the next job....if we all save the bubble wrap, there;s no need for those useless 'beans' that move to one side, and allow the contents to be up against one side and get damaged. the big air-bags arent great for air freight, and easily punctured..
Dont be scared of using Australian made packing tape ...you can buy big 36 roll boxes of it on
Ebay and get it down to about $1 a roll, and lots of tape holds a damaged parcel together.
I say this because hardly anyone is packaging things properly ....some do sure.
Today will be another battle with pickups, and ....why ? they have the money, have the address, an sms of guarantee of where its sitting, and a reason why the first pickup failed...
email program failure at the pickup point...it happens...so now its fixed....so why cant they pick up? I can pay the extra for pickup...but i cant find the correct way to do it on the new website..
and those are the inquiries that E-GO thinks they dont need to answer.

Hi guys I found out that they are part of Hunters Express and their number is tel:132252 within 24 hrs of calling them all sotered and delivered - easier when you can actually speak to someone - good luck
