Inner Filter Availability
Bought this just before christmas and so far did a terrific job for touch ups, while I was emptying the cassette the inner filter dropped into the garbage which I didn't notice until I went to use it again and there was no inner filter ( I wasn't even aware it came apart thought it would be the whole filter to be replaced when needed) anyway went back to Godfrey's to order another one, none in stock and they don't know when they will be getting any, have shopped around and none are available, even tried overseas uk, usa & nz, even though they ...Read more
recommend the inner filter to be changed every 3 to 4 months. I have placed an order with Godfreys, checked with Vacuumspot they were to have a delivery of the inner filters 30/04/2017 checked with them prior to ordering online and they say it will be the end of May, and now I have a useless vacuum cleaner. How can electrolux sell a product that has a disposable part and not have the parts available. Big waste of money looking into purchasing another stick vac but it won't be Electrolux, it will be whoever can supply extra filters at the time of purchase. I won't be recommending and will be looking into if I can get a refund as it can't be used because Electrolux can't supply the inner filter and its within the warranty period.4 comments
I have sent a email to Catherine at Electrolux and hopefully she may be able to provide a solution to finding and inner filter, fingers crossed.
Catherine has followed up and has advised me they have a filter in stock and will be dispatching this to me free of charge even though this was my fault. I have an Electrolux front loader and heat pum... Read more

Designed in electronically programmed lifetime
I have owned more than 6 Electrolux 2 in 1 NiCd and NiMh battery powered vacuum's.
In every single one, after about two years use, I have had buy new rechargeable batteries, to open them up and carefully solder in new batteries.
In the latest versions using Li-ion and Li-Po batteries, this is not an option due to pysical cell/battery size.
Additionally, I strongly suspec, but cannot prove, that after the introduction of more complex control circuits, these 2 in 1 vacuum's have a build-in, electronically pre-programmed lifetime (or "die-time"...Read more

Sadly won't charge
This unit worked exceptionally well, but now won't charge .... Very disappointing, as now expected to spend $120 on a new battery .... half the cost of the original unit this is not acceptable ...

Weak on suction and batteries
I am quite disappointed. Vacuum does not have good suction.
Batteries are weak, not enough time for 10 minutes to work!!!
Yes it's good for people with spine or hip problems but still is not convenient to charge after short period and plus suction is not working well on carpet floor.
I am looking now for something stronger vacuum with similar stick futures.
Would not recommend.

Handy vac for small spaces
We use it for our houseboat, therefore being 18v makes sense.
It does Not have a great battery time, however its all we need.
the Fittings make getting into small places a breeze like window spaces
lightweight easy to manoeuvre nice colour
Fits nicely in a small corner
thank you

Handy little vac
This is the third of these I have purchased. I agree the lifespan isn't great, so purchased an extended warranty with number 2 so number 3 was a freebie! These handy little vacs won't replace a full size vacuum cleaner but are good for quick touch ups or spills around the house. Suction is ok but you do have to make more than one pass to pick up some objects. Easy to empty and clean as have been all models I have used. The plus' with these are the easy manoeuvrability, being able to move from different floor surfaces without suction changing and battery life is enough to do a quick zip around a small house or unit.,

Love my vac
Purchased from appliances on line and absolutely love this vac for small jobs. Suction is great so far and easy to empty. Light weigh and easy to manoeuvre, It is easy to use and saves bringing out the big vac. I am very happy with my purchased, going to purchase another one for my elderly mother, Highly recommended

this vacuum doesn't suck... literally!
The way Electrolux are willing to forget they made this model shows their commitment (or lack there of) If you are considering purchasing a similar model - see yourself in 2 years time this expensive purchase will no longer charge properly ie. run for about 5 minutes (no joke) and hardly have any suction as the filter parts are impossible to get are fully clogged so the motor has overloaded at least a year ago.

Nice to use bad battery life
We bought this vacuum on the 26/12/2017 from the farmers boxing day sales...used for spot vacuuming before we went on holiday. Came back yesturday 4/1/2017 to use properly for the first time...It had full charge, before i could finish my home it died so thought maybe i hadnt charged correctly while away. Once fully charged again i started my house again and also set my timer....13.49mins later it died. So charged and tried again...same thing...No one can vacuum a house or apartment on 13mins of battery. Also suction is pretty poor, also no way of getting into the fine gaps between wall and floor. Will be returning to farmers tomorrow for a refund.

Works well but two have failed on us
The positives for this cleaner is that is works well. Saved up heaps of time cleaning our wooden floors every day. Adequate charge to be able to do our kitchen, dining room and living area (probably about 140 sqm or so). Pivot makes it very easy to move around obstacles. Easy to clean out hair that gets caught around the brush. Very light.
The negatives are reliability. The first one lasted 8 months and then the battery was dead. Replaced unit under warranty (whole new unit). The second was a slightly newer model (in green), and that...Read more
has lasted 18 months and now the on/off switch turns off randomly. My expectation is that these units should last longer than 18 months, and given both units have now failed I would question their quality / reliability. We will be buying a replacement, but it won't be this brand.1 comment
