Ergorapido
I purchased my 1st ergorapido 2nd hand after realising its value in saving me the hassle of having to drag out my larger vacuum cleaner. I purchased my new one, I use it in the house the car and have just bought my daughter one as well. Most of my girlfriends now have an ergorapido in their homes now. Super easy on carpet and hard floors a definite time saving machine that provides plenty of bang for its buck.

leaner once a week and in between I use the ergorapido to keep my floors clean it run from carpet to floor boards with ease and can clean the car without the need to pullout the big vacuum cleaner. So good that I bought my daughter one after much begging from her, She has 3 young children and it has made her life so much easier that spill chips or crackers on the floor she just grabs the ergorapido of its stand and zips it over the floors for a nice clean floor. Bought from Godfrey’s.

Surprised
I was sick of cords & dragging around vacuum cleaners so decided to research stick vacs. Dyson was too heavy and motor was at top of handle & also too expensive. I looked & tested quite a few brands decided on Electrolux & couldn't be happier. Great suction I use it on carpet & tiles, no more broom, very occassionally get out old vac. Cleans well easy & lightweight, charges quickly, love the dual use, stick or hand held.

Fantastic
Very light great for my sore arms
Easy to use. Great on suction which is great for cat hair. Hubby even uses it. Great to maneuver around all my furniture. Its not loud by any means which is great because I often vacuum late when I get home from work

Best ever vacuum
Am still amazed at how much this vacuum cleaner picks up that other vacuums leave behind. Easy to clean filter and dust bowl makes it a pleasure to use. No smelly bags that blow the dirt back out the other end. Great swivel head so you can easily get into corners and under tables. Should have bought one of these years ago. Bonus attachments for those hard to get to places, car cleaning and an extra bonus hose.

Well used
Great unit!! Can't say it's quiet but it's not exactly noisy it a vacuum cleaner can't expect to much. My wife loves it!!
The best part to is an upright unit but the hand held "part" is detachable which is the vac, so very well designed..
Maneuvering is really good, comfortable, easy, the "neck" is very well designed, we have timber floors and a few mats works very good on both.

Decent power, comes with many heads
Generally I'm happy with its suction power, yet it would be better to be a bit more stronger cos it doesn't seem to work well with carpets. It is fairly light and easy to move. Comes with multiple heads which makes vacuum the car much easier. Doesn't need to be charged often as well.

My wife loves this stick vacuum cleaner
I purchased this stick vacuum cleaner so that we don't have to carry our heavy corded vacuum cleaner down the stairs to the rumpus room.
I spent a lot of time researching various brands and models and chose this one mainly because it has good reviews and price.
I was not disappointed and neither is my wife.
We looked at a few brands and models and particularly liked this one as the heaviest part is near the floor. The leading brand has the motor etc at the top of the handle which makes it feel heavier and was twice the cost yet reviews sugg...Read more

Best Investment
We purchased this vac a couple of days ago and its a life saver. We have a border collie who is shedding like crazy right now and is leaving clumps of hair everywhere and my partners hair is always lying around. When seeing it on TV i didnt really believe that the pet hair button would work but it does. Just be sure to put the vacuum down on the tiles and not carpet or floorboards and press away. couple seconds is all it takes to cut the hair from the head and leave it pretty much as clean as it was when you brought it .

Best Brand of Vacuum Ever!
I have owned this brand of Vacuum along side the Shark Vacuum for about 9 years now and I love it and only use my shark vacuum once every 3 months only to clean the car and the carpets on the odd occasion.
So easy to manouvour and to clean out. I have a town house with carpet upstairs and tiles down stairs. I have a Japanese Spitz dog which malts fur like crazy and is an inside and outside dog so he is always bringing in dirt and grass. It's easy to use on the stairs, pick ups hair of the lounge and tiles and carpets really well.

Update on original review
As you can see from what I originally wrote below,* we were really happy with this vacuum but after less than three years the battery ( we bought the more expensive version with the lithium battery) died and the cost to replace it was really expensive. We bought an Aldo handheld for less than the cost of the replacement battery and it has a three year warranty. It is not quite as good as the Electrolux but we are happy with it.
* Really pleased with this vacuum. It is very light and easy to maneuver. Cleans very close to edges. Good suction. I use it almost every day because it is easier to get out and put away than my large vacuum cleaner. I don't know how I lived without it.

Very handy for quick tidy up
Has good suction and is very handy for tidying up inbetween big clean up days. The headlights were an unexpected bonus, i thought they would be a gimmick but they really show up dust and hair on the tiles. The only down side is the battery life. If you use full power you might get 15 minutes out of it, low power is not the best but you get closer to 30 mins. Effectively its a 15 min vacuum. fills up fast to so have to empty regularly, probably could have done with a smaller filter system to give more room for dust.

Great for pet hair
I use it nearly every day, It's easy to use, light, very maneuverable, and so far does a great job. I use it on carpet and lino and rugs, works well on all those surfaces.
It collects all the dog hair on my carpets that my Dyson barrel vacuum missed. I do have to empty it twice each use but that's because my dog is very hairy! Makes cleaning up after a molting dog very easy.

Wonderful!
It's being used on carpet, slate flooring. It's the second version we've bought and it's much easier to handle than past models. Stand up feature is handy and the movement seems to be a lot easier to move around than the more recent model we had. Good value for what your're getting. Light weight and overall a good machine.

Battery dead. Only 12 mnths old.
I love using my vacuum, but I am extremely disappointed with the battery. Only 12 months old, and doesnt even last 2 minutes!! Emailed Electrolux customer care days ago without getting any response. Purchased from Masters Lismore which has closed down. Feeling pretty let down. Just creating more landfill if the battery requires replacement already.

Battery can't last the distance!
Initially when it was first given to me, it worked very well and the battery seemed to be able to last for a good 15 mins. However 2- 3 years down the track, the fully charged battery only lasts for less than a minute and the suction is not great. A big waste of money unfortunately.

First one was a lemon, second is great.
The machine is great, when you have a good one. It picks up all in its path, uses no bag (money-saving), and is ideal for people who have weak elbows (like me) due to epicondylitis (tennis elbow and golfer's elbow, simultaneously) due to its light weight. While I cannot comment on it's loudness (I am Deaf), I can say that both of my cats do not run and hide from the noise. It can also be used on plain floors and carpet. The only drawback is that, while it is cordless, it needs recharging after about 5 minutes, so I have to vacuum the house in stages, recharging between each one.

Haven't had very long, now it will not charge at all. Is this a common problem with this vacuum?
2 answers
Hi Stacy we didn’t have a battery problem until about six months ago when the running time dropped from 20 minutes to 5 minutes which is not long enough . The vacuum is 4 years old and I have been very happy with the performance of it. However it will cost $154.00 to replace the lithium battery which we think should have a considerably longer life.Electrolux state the warranty period is 2 years - end of story. We note that there have been numerous similar complaints of short battery life and consider that Electrolux should take responsibility for an obvious short coming in their product. I hope this may be of some benefit to you.
If you haven't had this long I'd be returning it. Failing that can you contact Electrolux? Good luck.

What is the suction power please? I am comparing it to the LG cordzero A9MULTI which has 140W MAX suction.
Thank you
