Ultraflex Animal Allergy (ZUF4203PET)

Hi
Could you tell me if it’s ok to take the wheel off near where the lead is? The plug has come off and the lead is tangled?

Why does the cyclonic part of this vacuum always clog up after only a minute of vacuuming? It doesn’t even fill the dustbin!

I experienced the same problem and the solution was simple I turned the the regulator of the power of the vacuum several times to the left and right.Turn it from "-" to "+" and the problem was removed. Apparently this bottun could also get dirty by dust and then somehow jammed. It worked for me. Hope it will work for you.

It's a faulty power button mostly due to dust damage. Will need to change out the switch ( I did on mine) Please see my reply to a diff question on the same problem.

How often do you clean & replace filter?

As I have only had the cleaner for six weeks as yet I have not had to replace the filter. I have checked it twice and as yet it is looking fine. I purchased the replacement filters at time of purchase of cleaner and they were $40 I think for the box, I know you can wash one of them, so that is a good thing. Sorry cannot help you guess it depends on frequency of use and condition of carpet. Since my review I have found that I do find the cleaner a bit cumbersome as the power head is heavy but as i said in my review it does clean. I am also pleased that I have not had any problems with cleaning the brush, i thought the hair would wrap around the brushes but have not found this to be a problem, also I don't think this is a vacumn for a older person as it does require a bit of effort to push thru heavy carpet, even with the height adjustment on the highest level. Hope this helps :)33

Ultraflex Animal Allergy (ZUF4203PET)

My old Electrolux ultra active model has had a few problems had to replace the circuit board twice from error code E3 and had error code E2 pop up recently saying there is something wrong with the hose.
I like the brand because it picks up so much stuff that other vacuums can't but I'm hesitant to buy one as I don't want to have the same problems again.

Also how recently do you have to change the filters in this model of vacuum?

The filters on my model are all washable and can be reused. They collect dust only, so how often you clean them depends on how much dust is around your house! BUT more importantly, how often you overfill the main collector box. This applies all bagless cleaners, ( happens on my old Samsung and my Dyson) As soon as you accidently overfill past that 'red' full line, the cyclonic action no longer separates the dust out and it all goes into the filters !!!
If you can't easily clean the filters, then the suction power is lost......you have to buy new filters or a new machine.

The motor relies on air flow to keep it cool, if the EP filter is blocked then the motor and other components run hot and eventually fail. My advise to anyone buying any brand of bagless vacuum cleaner, get the salesman to show you how to get all the filters out, and show you where it says 'washable'. If he does not know, go to another store!

Thanks Peter I will try this mine doesn't have a red line for overfill so that may be my issue
