We have just had a EM534MV14 installed and the fan is constantly running is this normal ?
It was installed by a proper gas fitter

No the fan running constantly is not normal. There should be a fan button on the top front panel (under the Emilia logo) which when pressed in will activate the fan - to turn it off depress the button.
