The fireplace looks amazing in the living area and heats the large open space quickly and effectively.
The customer service has been brilliant and quick in resolving an issue (that ended up not being related to the unit itself). The fireplace hasn't missed a beat.
The install went well, and the Escea units do not require the cavity depth of other brands. This made it an easy choice to reduce the fireplace's footprint.
Purchased in March 2021.

Gives out plenty heat and after teething problems from initial installer, we are very happy with our fireplace.
Liz at Escea was SO HELPFUL getting our fire serviced and fixed by an installer (Gaswise Plumbing Solutions) that knew how to fix and maintain the fireplace CORRECTLY. Our fire reaches requested temp quickly and when we put on the fan it quickly heats up the extended living space in our home.

The heat this machine gives off is amazing and super happy with it in regards to that however we are left with it looking nothing like the photos and only have 2 tiny little golden flames and some little blue ones. Even with all the lights in the house off the flames are hard to see - pretty disappointed with the end result especially given the price.

We recently had some minor issues with flame height. After talking to two members of the Tech Support team the issues were easily resolved . We really appreciated the way they handled everything - totally professional - They are a credit to the Company.
Our double sided fire heats a large open plan area - after 10 to 15 minutes we have to turn it down. We find it super efficient and relaxing to look at. Sure beats chopping fire wood, just press the button and the magic starts.

Looks awesome and works well when working!
I spent $20k in buying, installing and then building nice faux wall around it. However it stops working randomly. Escea has tried to fix it two times by replacing different parts but problem recurres. Heater is only 1.5 years old. Please buy brands who offers longer warranty.

My recently installed DS1400 fireplace won't turn on (it worked a month ago after installation). The remote was saying 'wait' but wouldn't ignite. Now the remote doesn't do anything apart from turn on & I've just changed the batteries. The 4 diagnostic lights show green, off, flashing red & flashing green. No luck with the manual/auxiliary button & have tried re-pairing the remote but it's already paired. Any suggestions please?
